Rush Bramble vest. Either stay in xp range or pick cs up with Level 1 E. This matchup is fine to go E rush but I would recommend taking fleet or phase rush and Q max.
Akali
If the akali is good than you will definitely have trouble mainly outside of lane phase. Pre 6 she can't really kill you unless you were poked down and she all in's you with E Q, passive and ignite. After level 6 she has the upper hand until you get divine and some stacks. You honestly won't be able to kill her lane unless she messes up but the same can apply to you so she is not an extreme matchup. I recommend any of the rune pages are fine but i'd probably get phase rush Q max for sticking power and so you can possibly escape her 20 dashes.
Akshan
This matchup is playable if not in your favor if you go E rush. The issue is in late game he will deal massive damage and has the ability to revive. avoid letting him proc passive and PTA. If he goes first strike you can easily make him lose it with E everytime and he is basically runeless for the entire lane phase.
Camille
Pre 6 this matchup is very difficult. she will attempt to lane bully you early levels, deny you cs and such. After divine you can easily kill her and your level 6 is a lot stronger as her ult is not very good against nasus. Late game she does a ton of true damage but you have a ton of shielding so shes not to worrysome. Any rune page is fine just try to survive pre 6
Cho'Gath
You both spike at 6 and both sustain well/evenly. This is the most even matchup for Nasus although all ins pre divine sunderer will most likely end in your death. Try your best not to get hit by his E and dont let him proc grasp. I recommend Fleet or phase rush are good to dodge his Q. Do no go E rush as his sustain is pretty crazy.
Darius
If you take phase rush and E rush this lane is literally free and he can't do a thing about it when E is level 6. You will literally have to give up cs pre level 3 and try to poke while picking up cs with E. once E is level 2-3 spam poke him and force him to recall every time he's below %40, if he tries to all in you at %40 or less run his as down. Not to mention darius falls off whereas you scale. His armor pen, AD from passive and ult make him pretty decent onto you. I played this matchup a lot, if he rushes merc treads or ap resistance he loses a lot of damage and by that time you guys will be level 6.
Darius
If he you messed up or he killed you pre level 3 and has snowballed he will be a major threat until you poke him down enough. Dont ever let him hit you with Q as otherwise he has no sustain and is vulnerable to E. Always take phase rush into darius and try to E every time he pulls you. Once pulled if you managed to proc E as your being pulled, quickly auto Q or W Q.
Dr. Mundo
Only reason he's not tiny is because you won't be able to kill him pre divine and stacks, even then he can run away with ult and sustain. don't rush bramble you can buy it after 2-3rd back. I just honestly dont buy it at all as you can force him to ult without even needing to ult yourself after divine. Focus on not getting his Q or E Do not go E rush against him, his passive and natural resistance are too high. And this lane is easy to survive and farm stacks.
Fiora
She will bully the hell out of you, late game her ult can do +%75 max health true damage so you aren't as unkillable as you should be. You can possibly win lane with E and bramble rush. She is who I recommend banning, although I perma ban garen (see garen in major section)
Gangplank
Pretty annoying as his W can stop your wither and heal him aswell. If you manage to freeze then your fine. Unless you want to go E rush and just poke him to death (his W cd is +20 seconds and costs a decent amount of mana) dont let him proc grasp or first strike as much as you can. Late game he does a load of damage but you can 2 Tap him and he won't be able kill you, I would prio him over AD carries as he most likely outdamages and can screw your team over.
Garen
This guy is my perma ban and not for the fact that he can beat you. It takes too long to outscale him and E rush does not work too well against him. Even after you are stronger than him in teamfights his ult can do massive damage to you his Q can negate your W and silence you.
Gnar
You can out poke and sustain him with E rush. Q max is fine aswell just avoid his big form, you can sustain his mini form if you use proper positioning and movement to minimize damage. After Divine you can run him down when his bar is at 0 with W and if you have approach velocity he cant escape you.
Gwen
Not enough info, just know she can beat you fairly easily and does a lot of true damage
Irelia
You just won't beat her in lane, she can kill you so easily if you mess up and her sustain is too high for you to E rush her. I'd recommend Q max and wait to outscale, this will take until about 2 core items plus boots. you will need bramble and probably armor boots.
Illaoi
Very annoying champ, If you avoid her E by standing behind minions or juking her she does no damage. After sheen if she wifs (misses) her E instantly look to hit her with Q dont chase for the hit tho.
Jax
E rush is probably what I'd go in this matchup. Respect his all in potential and keep distance. Although he scales realllly well, you can easily W him and avoid any stuns and beat him 1 v 1. Team fight wise he'll be really annoying as if he prios you he can shred you.
Jayce
I dont think i've ever played this matchup as nasus only as other top laners. He has no sustain so E rush will work. Respect his damage after divine you can run him down.
Kayle
Laning wise this is the best matchup by far, after sheen and a few stacks you can force her to ult just by pressing W and hiting her with 2 Qs. you can beat her pre 16 without ever having to ult, and if you do ult she cannot fight you. your W just kills her whole champ she can't kite and can barely attack. at full buy she will shred you if not dealt with asap.
Kayn
Kayn is very rare in the top lane, but be careful of his level 1 cheese you will have to give up cs and try to not give him any hits for form, as by level 6 you can run him down. rhaast is really strong into tanks and can kite your W with his W. He can sustain with E so I wouldn't recommend E rush.
Kled
If you survive pre 6 this lane becomes free. If you do go E rush, after his mount flees. Poke him as much as you can with E and Q/autos.
Mordekaiser
One of my least favorable matchups by far. I pick morde if enemy locks in nasus simply do to the fact that you might never outscale him and you simply do not beat him lane, he has great sustain and damge. He also has soo much max% hp damage and true damage from rift maker. Try to survive and you will need jungle help to kill him. Don't have your jungler gank post 6 he will just ult them for a free kill.
Ornn
he can do tons of damage and kill you pre sunderer. He can upgrade teammates mythics and peel like crazy late game. Although he is quite rare and has a really low play rate across all elos.
Poppy
She will try to harass your weak early game with her really strong engage, either freeze or E rush. Avoid her passive and espically if she has grasp up
Renekton
He dominates early game, you dominate late.
Riven
E rush is your best bet against her. you can force her to back or poke enough to run her down. Late game she can stun lock, kite, peel and do big damage with black cleaver and armor pen. If you get caught pre 6 she will most likely kill you with ignite.
Sett
Don't get anywhere near this guy pre 6. E rush is amazing against him and try to pick off cs with E and Wither him if you go for a cannon. Phase rush is really good against him
Shen
Can bully you early game, has a top tier game changing ult that you cannot stop even if you are seeing him do it. E rush works well on him as he will most likely attempt to freeze and all in you as you overstep. if he does ult infront of you, push the wave in as fast as possible and try to take plates using ult.
Sion
He should never be able to beat you, and if you go E rush you can dominate lane.

this guy watched thebausffs and is running it down and still wins the game.
Tryndamere
pre 6 he will bully the s*** out of you. E rush has little to no affect due to his Q sustain. Phase rush or fleet is ideal but his 6 spike is way stronger than yours. So after sunderer you can try to force an ult W and Q (if you have phase rush E aswell) to avoid him.
Teemo
If you want to make him cry go E rush, its honestly such a free lane and even when I played against a diamond teemo they couldn't do jack s***. He later on becomes annoying due to his Dps being so high and his bilnd last long and has a short CD
Yasuo
Wind s*** and his brother are easy matchups regardless of what you do as long as you avoid them pre 6, dont push wave and win. E rush isn't that good on yasuo due to his passive, but its not terrible because you can hit him with 1 or 2 E's before its back up.
Yone
He is a little better against you then yasuo, but still easy match up to survive pre 6 and after level 6 and sheen you can run him down. E rush is great against yone, but you can honestly do Q max as he isnt a hard lane anyway.
Yorick
He can duel you easily until you reach a load of stacks and about 3 items. Even if you ever manage to make him behind he will just constantly split and force you to follow (which isn't bad but if your team needs you he can force an advantage for his team). E rush can honestly make this lane in your favor as he has no sustain. Poke him enough so that he can't harass you and it allows you to not only have a chance at killing him but it allows you to farm.
Vayne
Headache to play, she'll shred you late game regardless of whether you won lane or not. E rush is honestly a must, it makes an impossible lane not only winnable but slightly in your favor. On the bright side is your jungler will be inclined to camp this no skill vayne top.
Kayn
If this kayn took Smite + Tp into top lane then he will probably clear one side of your junglers camps sell jg item and tp back to lane. He will roam a quite a bit, even if you know he recalled always MIA (missing in action) ping.
Janna
Smite top lane supports are usually boring to go up against and I wasn't playing top the times i've seen it. Although Nasus is probably if not is the best champion to combat this strat. Take full scaling runes (conditioning either overgrowth or revitalize) and just power farm if they dont stay in lane. I hear this strat will be gutted soon.

Used to be extreme buy since his E change he dropped down to a Low major/High even as he can still lane bully you just not as much, as level 6 all ins are very different when he only has a 15% shield rather than 55%. He can peel for his and can escape easily if he isn't far behind but stunning and W'ing away. Avoid his Q poke by staying behind minions in lane and go Q max try to outscale as soon as possible without dying give up as much cs as you need to until jg can help or you outscale either works.
