Champion Build Guide
Hello! My name is Skappsi/Khada and I'm a Jhin main who plays Xayah on the side.
Xayah is not the strongest ADC champion in the meta at the moment. You may be here because you've seen her a lot in pro play, or you've just discovered the Champion, but no man can play Xayah well without a guide to tell him how to do so. So here's my guide to show you how!

Passive: Clean Cuts
Q: Double Daggers
W: Deadly Plumage
E: Bladecaller
R: Featherstorm
Crit
Lethality
Starter Items
|
Standard Starter Item for ADC. Take this most games. |
Powerful option to take when playing Lethality as it builds right into Dirk. Take this on Lethality games. |
Always take 1 of these with Crit and 3 of these with Lethality. |
There is no debate, early game you should take this. |
Critical Strike Build
Core
For highest DPS, as other Mythics don't fit as nicely, Galeforce should always be taken on Crit. |
This is the optimal boots choice for most ADC's, and Xayah is no different, the extra Attack Speed is great. |
If you have 60%+ Crit you should always consider buying into an IE. |
Situational
Maw is optimal VS. an AP-based composition or a really fed AP champion. The It provides a good amount of MR, and the passive synergises with Immortal Shieldbow. |
Scimitar is optimal vs. Heavy CC champions (such as Veigar, Leona etc.) |
If you're VS. lifesteal champions, it's definitely worth buying an Executioners and upgrade into a Mortal Reminder later. |
Guardian Angel is very clutch in teamfights and is good for Armor too. |
Dominik's is good when the enemy has built more Armor. |
Bloodthirster is good when you need more survivability. |
Lethality Build
Core
Eclipse is the best Mythic for Lethality Xayah as you can proc the shield very fast. |
These are the best boots for Lethality Xayah as the ability haste is very important for this build. |
This item is important for spamming your combo very frequently. |
Armor penetration is often useful with all lethality builds, and Xayah is no exception. |
This new lethality item is very useful for Xayah as spamming your R is incredibly useful for repositioning, avoiding deadly skillshots etc. |
Situational
When you need antihealing. |
Guardian Angel is very clutch in teamfights and is good for Armor too. |
Good when there are critical ablities or CC you need to dodge. |
Maw is optimal VS. an AP-based composition or a really fed AP champion. The It provides a good amount of MR, and the passive synergises with Immortal Shieldbow. |
Scimitar is optimal vs. Heavy CC champions (such as Veigar, Leona etc.) |
Good when the enemy champions have a lot of shields that you need to counter. |
The Collector is a very good item vs. many squishies. |
The movement speed is very good for escaping and engaging, and the stats of this time are also very good. |
Lethal Tempo is the best current Keystone on Crit Xayah as the burst of attack speed is brilliant for being able to quickly get your feathers down to recall. |
Presence Of Mind is the best choice for Xayah as having mana on hand is very important for her. |
You could go Alacrity, but Bloodline tends to be better because you might not get lifesteal from anything else. |
Coup De Grace is the optimal choice, but you can go Cut Down if you're against a lot of tankier champions. |
We take Magical Footwear so you can focus your gold into damage items. |
We take Biscuit Delivery for Xayah's early mana problems. |
Summon Aery is the best choice for Lethality Xayah to have the maximum damage output. |
Manaflow Band is the best choice for Xayah as having mana on hand is very important for her. |
Transcendence is the best choice for Xayah as having more ability haste is even better. |
Scorch is the best choice for Xayah as it gives you more laning phase damage. |
We take Magical Footwear so you can focus your gold into damage items. |
We take Biscuit Delivery for Xayah's early mana problems. |
Flash is essential for most champions, and Xayah is no exception. Flash is just an incredibly useful Summoner Spell, and you should ALWAYS take this on Xayah. |
Heal is the most common ADC summoner, and you should be taking this most games. |
Cleanse is the optimal summoner spell to replace Heal when you're up against heavy CC champions (Veigar, Leona, Maokai etc.) |
