just a thing to you think:
navori is better than bork against tanks. Why? you will ask me
imo 6% max damage is better than 6% current health damage. With your W active the entire fight you dont need to wait for anything and with properly spacing noone can reach you.
Maybe you could do bork + navori but i think is to little at speed


new build hehehe (kraken -> navori -> guinsoo)

Hit Q and win trade.
Use W, space and win (just with range advantage).
Don't waste your W. It's your win condition!
Be careful ulting, you need 80 to W Q at least.
You don't need to build full damage every game, try find the best itens and win more games!

Early Game

Your main goal in the early stages is to farm safely. In order to do that you can wiggle before farming minions, focusing to dodge the enemy ability. try be behind your minions and hit Q or E(if doing the ap start) when they are going to farm.
In early fights you can't go in 3, wait and fell the best timing to go (maybe after they using all abilities).

Mid Game

In this stage if you're realy ahead you don't need to care about enemies, unsless they have some target cc or a strong enemy.
If your got camped or doesn't play well in the early game, is the same thing for early game. Wait for enemy abilities and maybe some allies die. don't waste your W if you can't go in, otherwise its 8 sec cooldown that u can't do any damage.

Late Game

If you reach this far in the game i can just hope for your best. After enemy buying MR you can't do the enouth damage and the enemy can hard focus you and easily shut down. Some tips are just fighing if flash / second spell is up and dont face checking brushs or river.

So before talking about the items and the reason I built them, I'll talk about what stats Kog'maw needs.

Stats explanation

1. Atack speed
   The core stat for this champiom. More attack speed means more damage from W.
2. MS
   MS is important for walking up into the enemy. If you have less MS than your enemy, you cannot hit him properly.
3. Health
   Because you're walking for the enemy team in most cases, it's inevitable that you'll get hit back.
4. Resistance
   Do the same as health, resistances help you tank enemy damage.
5. AP/AD
   Because you're getting lots of attack speed, this stats boosts your damage output. W damage (AP), auto damage (AD)

tbh im not feeling doing it fancy but lets start

First item:
Kraken -> going for long fights + doing the new build (remember that you wont have a good sustain source)
Bork -> short trades + sustain

other items:
guinsoo -> long fights + new build + single target damage (i dislike this item but i know it's value)
navori -> realy good when you will fight for more than 8 seconds ( your w timing
wits end -> great damage in late game + tenacity(most op stats)
runnan's -> good into melle comps and comps that like to play grouped
pd -> why are u building phanton dance?
terminus -> idk what to build but want to deal more damage
rookern -> lol fvck ap champions (realy op item) - I do most of my games
randuim -> lol fvck ad crit champions (also realy op) - I do most of my games
jacksho (idk the name of this item) -> better paired with terminus and conditioning because has only 30% resistance scale
sterak -> me shield me walk me tank
tier 3 boots -> no realy worth but you can do as last item
ap item mask that burns and gives u % bonus damage -> weird but fun, scales well with your ig level
SHOJIN -> free % damage and you start to stack for free with you autos with W or when you build either wit's end or terminus

alacrity -> we ball fvck it. It's better when you're doing bork because you'll already have sustain

bloodline -> can be used when doing the new build (kraken - navori - guinsoo).


about absorb and triumph:
note: absorb life got nerfed so maybe triumph is better



absorb life -> free sustain. (im using only absorb life recently)

triumph -> better scale and +gold for each kill
