Introduction

Hi, my IGN is 5tuntm4n and I'm going to teach you how to play splitpush AD Nidalee. Master it, and you're on your way to Platinum or higher!
Bragging in 3..2..1..
I am a Gold II Nidalee main. I've played numerous games with her and I have never lost with AD Nidalee. So without further ado, let's get to the guide.
Nidalee in a Nutshell
After her rework, she has seen frequently in competitive play and standard games as a early game top laner. She has good sustain if you max your E and good harass and burst. She can fall off quite a bit if the game is extended past a certain point. Her goal is to win the lane and push it up to the enemy base. She is pretty weak if not played correctly but with practice, it's a guaranteed lane victory everytime.

Prowl: Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 10% for 2 seconds, which increases to 30% if she is moving toward a visible enemy champion within 5500-range.
HUNT: Hitting enemy champions with

--
Good for chasing. Never engage onto an enemy champion without marking them first, the bonus effects are just so devastating to them.

Javelin Toss: Nidalee hurls her javelin forward in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy it hits.
After having traveled 525 units, the javelin's damage will be increase by 2% per 7.75 units traveled, capping at 200% bonus damage (300% total damage) after traveling 1300 units.
--
Mainly for marking enemies. After the nerf, doesn't do as much damage and shouldn't really be maxed.

Takedown: Nidalee's next attack gains 75-range (200 total range) and is modified to deal magic damage.
The damage is increased by 1.5% for every 1% of the target's missing health, for a maximum of 150% bonus damage (250% total damage).
HUNT BONUS: If the target is marked as Hunted, Takedown deals 33% increased damage.
--
Nidalee's bread and butter ability. The core spell that makes AD Nidalee, AD Nidalee. Use for last hits.

Bushwhack: Nidalee lays a trap at a target location that arms after a very brief delay. When sprung by an enemy unit, they will take magic damage plus a percentage of their current health over 4 seconds (max. damage 150 vs. monsters). Traps last for 2 minutes.
--
Use for counterganks and scouting.

Pounce: Nidalee lunges a fixed 375 units in the direction of the cursor, dealing magic damage to enemies within a 75-radius area around her landing point.
Killing a unit will reduced Pounce's current cooldown to 1 second if it's currently higher.
HUNT BONUS: If the cursor is near an enemy marked as Hunted within 750-range, Pounce becomes a unit-targeted dash.
--
Nidalee's gapcloser. Devastating if the target is hunted. Also good for farming.

Primal Surge: Nidalee evokes the spirit of the cougar, healing a target allied champion or herself and granting them bonus attack speed for 7 seconds.
--
Great sustain. Max first for the extra attack speed it gives.

Swipe: Nidalee claws at enemies in a 180-degree cone in the direction of the cursor, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit.
HUNT BONUS: If Swipe hits an enemy marked as Hunted, Pounce's current cooldown is reduced to 1 second if it's currently higher.
--
Kind of a useless spell, use for extra damage in your combo.

Aspect of the Cougar: Nidalee transforms herself into a cougar, gaining a new set of abilities and melee attacks (125 range).
Triggering Hunt resets Aspect of the Cougar's cooldown if Nidalee is in Human Form.
Aspect of the Human: Nidalee transforms back into her human form.
Nidalee begins the game with one rank in Aspect of the Cougar and can increase it at levels 6, 11, and 16.
--
The most important ability. Use for transforming into cougar/human form. Keep track of your cooldowns, reactivating Aspect of the Cougar is quite a long cooldown early game.
Start with W to scout enemy jungles and provide your team with information. When you hit level 2, get your Q and try and land it on your opponent. If it lands, follow up with your Cougar W and Takedown. Max your E first for the extra attack speed and to take towers with ease. Follow up with your spear for the extra burst. Finally, max your trap/leap last just because you can.

TL;DR - Doran's Blade > Sheen > Triforce > Merc Treads > Spirit Visage > Bloodthirster/BotRK > Blue Mercs > Randuins > Guardian's Angel
To start it off, always go with a Doran's Blade. It helps you greater sustain the lane and provide stronger harass. When you have enough for a Sheen, recall and buy it. It is a priority item on Nidalee because of the greater assassination burst potential it gives. If you died before getting it or backed off early, go uninstall and hang yourself because that's not how to play Nidalee. In the mid game, you must complete your Trinity Force before you start to roam (unless you're low tier like me, in which you can get away with kills). Once your core items, splitpushing will be a breeze. Try ending it sooner rather than later because you will fall off hard. Late game, if you haven't ended it already, you're pretty much a bursty assassin with no burst. Getting to the backline and bursting carries will be extra difficult once they build armor/magic resist. You're spells become useless because you will build little to no ability power later on in the game. Unless you're Jesus, you're in for a tough time and should probably go tank.

An easy way to farm with Nidalee is to start off with W into an E. Once you get resets, repeatedly hop on your foes and make sure to stay in Cougar form.
When defending a base from super minions, start off with Human form "E" into a full cougar combo. Always Q last because it deals more damage the lower HP the target is.

TL;DR - Win yo damn lane
Early game, you're main goal is to win. The. Lane. Never lose your lane as Nidalee unless you get counterpicked or shutdown (in which you should get some wards you niglet). Try to farm up your lane and shove it to their tower. Poke them down before landing Q and finishing the job. Getting kills early on is essential for Nidalee to snowball the mid game. A good way to get kills early on is to fool your opponent thinking they have the upperhand. People underestimate Nidalee's Q, A LOT. It can chunk enemies health once you get your Sheen, so start throwing out your Q's (buy some mana potions). Landing one either brings your opponent low to recall or kill them.

TL;DR - Push the lane you were in
Once you get your core items you're ready to start pushing the side lanes. Be sure your team isn't in a sticky situation before rushing down the enemy lanes. If you are on the blue side, place your trinket on the bush next to the golems, or the bush to the right of it. As long as they can lock you down, Nidalee can get away easily from ganks. If they send one person to deal with you, kill them or get them out of lane. No one can dual you at this point and time. Try and create lane pressure and tell your team to shove when they come for you. Just back off when they do. Push to the inhibitor and group with your team. Low tier players don't know how to deal with splitpush Nidalee
Tip: Proc your Sheen as much as you can and keep track of your E timer, you need it up whenever you can

TL;DR - You failed, surrender now
Although very plausible, winning in the late game with Nidalee is almost impossible unless your team is doing very well (and late game champs don't hurt). Her assassination slowly falls off once everyone reaches a certain level. If you hadn't ended the game yet, you better go tank because you won't do any damage (Takedown/Basic AAs are you only form of attack damage). All of her spells scale with some sort of ability power so scaling into late game will be hard for attack damage Nidalee with built assassination tools.

Nidalee doesn't require teamwork to succeed. If you are smurfing or you feel like you're better than the people in your game, you can single handedly carry your "trash" team. Every time you backdoor, the enemy team will be pressured and make a decision: 1. Send one person down - Dual him, send him back, continue pushing. 2. Send the team to get you - Call your team to shove down mid lane and back off. 3. Ignore you altogether and fight your team 4v5 - Use teleport and flank the enemy team.
How to utilize your jungler - If you feel you can dive the enemy, call your jungler up and share turret aggro. Pulling off your combo successfully will always lead to a kill.

Basic Level 3 Combo -
Javelin Toss Q >
Pounce Cougar W >
Primal Surge Cougar E >
Takedown Cougar Q
Nidalee has one of the strongest level 3 bursts (just being outclassed by Riven) if you can land your full combo.
All In Combo -
Takedown Q >
Primal Surge E >
Pounce Cougar W >
Sheen Sheen AA >
Swipe Cougar E >
Sheen
Takedown Cougar Sheen Q > (if you have it)
Ignite Ignite
Mid game, unless they go tanky, it's almost guaranteed a kill.
Tower Dive Combo -
Takedown Q >
Pounce Cougar W >
Takedown Cougar Q >
Pounce Cougar W (back out)
Note that the target must be below 30% health. Landing your Q into a jump and takedown almost guarantees a kill (sheen required for a 100% kill chance)
Escape Combo -
Pounce W >
Flash Flash >
Pounce W
Simple combo when you overextend. If enemy minions are behind you, try to kill it to reset your W. If the jungler is flanking you, land your Q and hop to it to safety.
