Introduction
EASILY, I hit Mastery Level 7 with Warwick:
So, why play Warwick? I have been playing Warwick on and off for around four years now. I am a highly educated League of legends player, but my mechanical skill is garbage. Warwick and other low-skill champions have allowed me to continue to climb simply because my knowledge of teamfighting has far surpassed my mechanical skill with a keyboard and mouse.
Warwick is a very special type of champion that I am certain Riot regrets creating. His click-and-forget ult is iconic for the Wolf. His play kit is SIMPLE, and most of the time, you won't even need to click his E. What makes Warwick SO special is that he can change from a primary damage dealer to a frontline tank in the middle of the game. Based on your item choice/item order, you can easily carry the team, OR facetank the entire enemy team.

This is a small list of basic items to use and why:
STARTING ITEMS
Hunter's Machete is standard start for Warwick. is also a viable start for beginners if you find yourself expending too much mana, OR if you tend to start Red Brambleback instead of Ancient Golem .
Most junglers will either start with a Refillable Potion or two to three Health Potion. Warwick does not need to start with ANY potions. This is one factor that makes him stand out amongst other junglers: Sustain AF! Warwick heals with his auto attacks and his Hungering Strike, so he very rarely needs to back unless he absolutely wasnts to buy.
The Vision Ward in recent seasons has been reduced to 75G, the same price as the old Stealth Ward. Warwick can do some pretty amazing things with a starting pink because he does not need anything other than his Machete. How to use this ward effectively will be discussed in detail in another chapter.
This trinket is the starting trinket for almost every champ in LoL. If you feel like you are being Counter Jungle'd too hard, feel free to grab Sweeping Lens and Tracker's Knife for better vision control.
Swifties were a decent all-around choice until the recent nerf in 6.11. Because of the price and decent stats, they were a cheap and early buy to improve dodging speed and roaming. Everyone bought Swifties, and if you didn't, you would suffer. If you absolutely need cheap speed, grab Boots of Mobility.
Ninja Tabi just got a great buff! 30 Armor for that price is overly effective! If absolutely cannot decide which to pick, these are my go to boots.
Mobi Boots are an excellent tool for early ganks. Sometimes, after grabbing my first back item, if I've absolutely got extra gold from a gank or holding a lane, I will grab an early pair of Mobi's. Having the out of combat movement speed PLUS masteries to run through the Jungle PLUS Warwick's E, this champion can FLY to another lane simply because every other champion is still stuck at 350 MS.
Merc Treads are reasonably priced for the amount of Magic Resistance recieved. If you find yourself against a team that is high in AP, or you keep getting bursted early, grab a quick pair of Mercs. There's nothing wrong with early Mobi's or Swifties, but late game, whatever boots I have, I will almost always sell them for a pair of Mercury's Treads simply because the Tenacity is MUCH needed on Warwick. He absolutely needs to be able to shut down enemy carries OR to peel for his own squishes.
Warwick is a CC magnet ^_^
