Introduction
With your Runes I prefer magic resist runes so it's easier to take Gromp's Season 7 beating.
Depending on your teams comp you can take either flat armor, or scaling health. The flat armor makes it easier to stay alive in your early jungle. However, scaling health can make you healthier in the late game if you have to take on the role of frontline. Having a page with each option is recommended.
For your reds I prefer Lethality for this patch as it does help if you stay ahead, flat damage is viable for jungle clear aswell.
Quints is usually the counter to your reds. Damage red, Lethality quints. Lethality reds, Damage quints.

The mastery tree is pretty straight forward. 12, 18, 0.
In the Ferocity tree you'll want to take Sorcery for extra W, and E damage, Expose weakness to add damage to your teammates during teamfights and ganks, Natural talent more of that early damage, and finally double edged sword for even MORE early damage (There is alot of debate between Double edged sword and Bounty Hunter, just look at it like this. Double Edged is for early jungle clear and early gank damage. Bounty Hunter is for late game added damage. I feel Double Edged is just more viable to get you ahead.)
In the Cunning tree you take Savagery for extra damage on E and autos,Runic affinity for extended buffs, Merciless for that sweet low health damage, Green Father's Gift for extra damage in early jungle and ganks, Percision for bonus lethality and magic pen, and last but not least T. LORD'S for that tasty burst damage.
Screw Resolve.

Items are the most customizable part of any build. The two I suggest for most situations is eaither a Bursty Duckblade/Infinity Edge/Statikk type of build or a Tankier Titanic/Frozen Mallet/Edge of Night type of build. It all depends. On. The. Demand. Of. The. Team. You can rush damage every game but that wont win you every game. Learn to be adaptive even if your team does ask you to. Damage isnt the answer to all your problems. If your team needs frontline then a tankier/sticky build can make all the difference.
The skills are pretty simple. Start W so you can leash yourself, best strategy I think is to place the first at the 00:40 mark and place 3, when the buff spawns it will be feared, after it is feared place your 4th box to fear it again, you should finish the buff with no damage taken. Max E since Q got it's damage removed, max Q last OR if you want to be gank heavy you can max your Q up to 3 then start maxing E, wither path is viable. In the end, E for Damage, W for fear, and Q for ganks, just know their uses.
For spells, I recommend Flash if you are new to Shaco, once you get the hang of him and how to use his abilities, Ignite is the better option. Ignite provides better kill pressure for ganks and in jungle 1v1's, however it leaves you vulnerable with fewer escapes, thats why you should learn how to time Q's and box placements.
In summary, you want to take masteries and runes that will help you out in the early game so you can hopefully snowball ahead of your enemy jungler, this allows you to have a stronger smite and also gives your Lethality extra damage since it cuts of more armor the higher level you are. Also dont forget to pay attention to what the team needs and build accordingly. Last but not least make sure Shaco is a fun choice for you, he can the funnest champion in the game if you just take the time to learn.
:Pros
1. He can clear, gank, and counter jungle easily.
2. His pressure is mostly second to none if you know what youre doing.
3. Shaco is a versatile jungler that can fill muliple roles.
:Cons
1. If you pressure too much you can easily lose your lead by falling behind in farm, if a gank fails you wasted time doing nothing and you need to make sure to farm up when you have the opportunity.
2. Don't get too cocky, realize that the enemy still scales, even if they do it slowly, you have to constantly be aware that the enemy is getting stronger with you.
3. The bursty build of Shaco lacks and tank stats and health and can leave you vulnerable in team fights.

With Shaco you have can play around your team well since you have most things any team needs depending on your build path. Like I've said before you can carry with damage or peel. It's all up to you to figure out what the team needs. If your tanks are tanking and no one is doing damage, go damage and backstab that backline. If you have AD carry top, AP carry mid, ADC, and a support tethered to him then you and your clone can tank it up and fear the enemy into submission.
A wise man once said "Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye." (H. Jackson Brown, Jr.). This quote bascially means if you camp someone enough they will eventually be so hell bent on killing you that they can see through your decieve, so watch out.
All joking aside, this guide is to give you tips and paths to help you and your team climb up, eventually this info may or may not be enough to sustain you on your Bronze/Silver/Gold throne so always try to learn more. Everything there is to know about Shaco ISN'T in this guide. There is always more to learn. Thank you and farewell summoner.
P.S. Buy f***ing control wards.
