If darius knows how to play this matchup ur doomed, never fight him alone and always be careful about his E range. If he uses E and then R u can't ult in that little gap.
Champion Build Guide
Hello there! My name is Lao Shin, I'm 19 Years old and I'm a high elo Toplane Main! I've played League of Legends since season 1, and have mained toplane since season 2. My second best role is midlane. Ever since season 3 I've been high Diamond and peaked Challenger multiple season's. League of Legends has always been my main game, the most fun part of the game is never learning out, there is always something new. Kayle was always my scaling pick for games that i knew beforehand will take long. She has not the best earlygame but great scaling and enables you to 1v9 lategame. Plus, she is super fun to play and has a lot to offer! If u have any questions or simply want to see me play, u can check out my Twitch channel. I'm trying my best to teach toplane/midlane to everyone who is interested! |
Kayle is a very unique champion, she is ranged and meele, AP and AD in a single champion. Her laning phase could be better, but could also be worse, if u know how to properly play the matchup u can win lane everytime. Kayle can protect teammates or carry the timefight alone and ult herself both are viable choices depending on how your team plays and the longer the game goes on the stronger kayle gets. So if u want to play a champion that does mixed damage has a lot of aoe with autoattacks, a heal and a Godmode Ult. Then Kayle is for you. |
PROS +Godlike Scaling +Shreds armor + magic resistance +Good Sustain +Mixed Damage +High Carry Potential |
CONS -Early weak -Very Squishy -Lack of Mobility -Vulnerable to CC |
Q: Reckoning
|
ACTIVE: Kayle blasts the target enemy, dealing them magic damage and slowing them for 3 seconds. |
W: Divine Blessing
|
ACTIVE: Kayle blesses the target allied champion or herself, healing them and granting them bonus movement speed for 3 seconds. |
E: Righteous Fury
R: Intervention
|
ACTIVE: Kayle bathes the target allied champion or herself in holy light, rendering them invulnerable for a few seconds. |
Flash is the most general spell u want to take with almost every champion. There is simply no reason to take any other spell over it. But that doesnt mean u can waste it when it's up, always try to hold on it as long as possible, but not long enough to die for it. Surviving is more important than having flash up. You can escape from ganks or chase after enemys with it. |
Teleport enables you to help out your team even when u are on the other side of the map, no matter if there is a gank botlane in the earlygame or a big baron fight in the lategame. Teleport also enables you to put a lot of pressure on the enemy team with split pushing. |
Lethal Tempo was always since the runes reforged patch the best keyrune for Kayle because the more attackspeed the more DPS and it enables you to overcap your attackspeed. Also it got huge buffs recently so there is no reason to take anything except Lethal Tempo. |
Triumph beginns to shine in the teamfights when you get 300HP back for every single enemy your team killed. |
Legend: Alacrity is the best option because all you want is attackspeed anyway. It gives up to 18% attackspeed. |
You want to use your ult when u are low life so Last Stand gives u a good amount of bonus damage. If you are a person who likes to full life ult then i recommend using Coup de Grace. |
With Transcendence and Nashor's Tooth together you have 30% cooldown reduction very early in the game, and at this point u can use Righteous Fury permanently. |
Kayle is a scaling champion anyway, the longer the game goes the stronger u get. Gathering Storm helps u a lot to scale even harder, it's infinity scaling. |
Kayle is very mana hungry in the earlygame, starting with Doran's Ring helps you out a lot. Also it gives you a good amount of sustain with double Health Potion and your Divine Blessing. |
The best cheap attackspeed item existing, almost everygame you want to rush them because they are so gold afficient. With boots you can dodge, chase or run away much easier. |
Kayle is very weak against CC heavy enemy teams Mercury's Treads help out a lot against them. Also they are very important against certain matchups like Zoe. |
If u play Kayle in the Toplane you will play against a Riven or Pantheon every now and then. If the enemys have a heavy AD Team or simply a lot of autoattackers u wanna get them. |
Was always and will always be the best item for Kayle, it enables you to have permanent E. |
Guinsoo's Rageblade is a huge powerspike for kayle, when u get this item almost no one can duell you 1v1 anymore. It makes u to a incredible powerfull split push and duelling machine. |
Kayle is weak against heavy CC combo's. To prevent this u can get a Quicksilver Sash. Always get this after your first item if u play against Malzahar Warwick or any similar enemy. |
Buy this every game, enemys will start buying magic resistance because u deal more magic than ad damage. With Void Staff you still burst them down anyway. |
Perfect if u need more HP or have enemys that escape all the time. Your autoattack's with E slow's the enemys permanent. |
In some matchup's this is your win condition, like against Zed. If u simply need armor or enemys have a huge burst ult, buy it. |
More AP more damage, it's simple. With Rabadon's as 3rd item u have like 400 AP and shred every single enemy. |
What's Important? Everyone should try to create a own playstyle, enemys won't expect something they have never seen. Try to find what works best for urself. |
Early Game As Kayle in the early game you want to farm as much as possible and don't really fight, this is your weakes phase of the game. Ward a lot to prevent dying and help out your jungler when enemys invade him. |
Mid Game This is the time where u already should have bought your Berserker's Greaves + Nashor's Tooth, now you should have your E permanently. This is where u can beginn to fight and turn the game in your favor. You can either push hard to get towers or help out your team with objectives. |
Late Game In the lategame u have multiple choices, u can either split push botlane and if a baron fight comes up you Teleport to them or you stay with your team and try to catch an enemy to finish the game. |
Teamfighting as a Kayle is very simple, u can either autoattack the nearest enemy and get off as much damage as possible, or you peel for your attack damage carry if he's fed and try everything to keep him alive. |
Kayle's skill cap isn't very high and succeeding with her is very simple as long as your macro play is good. She has a lot of different playstyles and is very hard to build against because of the huge amount of mixed damage and resistance shredding passive she has. |
