Hi.I am a silver 1 katarina main with 600k mastery points.I know i am silver and that i am not good at the game but i know a lot about katarina as a champ.Hope u enjoy it since i have put a lot of time in it.

The main rune page on kata is the one above.Electrocute is the best keystone on kata.Since u will rarely get the chance to aa someone while doing ur combo, dark harvest is not an option and predator doesn't benefit kata at all.Then,get sudden impact since lethality and magic pen are so important.Taste of blood isn't good since the ap scaling is only 10% and u cant activate cheap shot.After eyball collection is the most optimal choice for kat since the other 2 dont synergise well with kata imo.Lastly, u can get either ravenous hunter or ingenious hunter.I personaly prefer ravenous for the healing.At the precision tree,triumph is a must,bcs u will neeed that 15% missing health when teamfighting.Then get coup de grace bcs it helps u in lane and when teamfighting since u r the "janitor".

While playing norms with friends,by mistake i took arcane comet.They were flaming me but it seems kinda playable.The path i went was arcane comet->ultimate hat->absolute focus->gathering storm and then in precision truimph->coup de grace.I had some fun with this setup.

Hextech gunblade is ur core item.Its the best item on kata.It gives u ad, ap, healing and a slow/dmg active.U should always rush this item.
U can get 3 kinds of boots:sorc shoes, merc treads orninja tabi's.
Most of the time u r going to get sorc shoes since magic pen is so important on kata.
If they have a lot of ad dmg based on aa, ur best option is to get ninja tabi's.
If they have a lot of cc or/and ap dmg, u can get merc treads.
Zhonuyas u get when they have a lot of burst dmg and/or a lot of cc or they have a full ad team(doesn't usually happen but just in case).
Ludens is a great option for when u r fed and u know u can snowball ur lead in a win.
I usually get rabadons when i already have 4 or 5 items bcs it costs much.If u have enough gold u can buy it earlier to snowball harder.
Void staff is rly good with kata.It gives u the pen u need.U can either get this or liandry's.Get this when their tanks start giving u trouble.
Liandrys is great item since haunting guise(which builds into liandry's)gives u magic pen/ap and health for 1500 gold.Overall i like going lianrys's but void stuff is still a good item.
I cant excactly explain when to buy liandry's and when to buy void so u have to try it out for urself(sry).
Rylais is for when u need hp but not necessary mr or armor or when u need the slow to chase enemies.
Mejais is a high risk/reward item.It's good when u r snowballing rly hard.I also use it as a way to play better since i dont want to lose my stacks.

There r many combos u can do with katarina.

1:e->w->aa->q->and then continue with e on the q dagger or disengage
2:When u r chasing:e on a minion->w->q the enemy->e on the q dagger and the do whatever combo u want.
3:To bait abilities:e on the enemy ->w and run away immediately to the left or the right and then pick up the dagger->q enemy->continue the combo however u want.
DONT forget to use gunblade in those combos when u have it.
Your e is an aa reset so in early lvls using this will give u a bigger advantage than u think.

If ur enemy is melee u can easily set up ur q on him when he is trying to cs.This a great way to put the enemy in a lose-lose situation.Many people say she is weak early but in my opinion she is rly good early.
