Introduction

The first thing running through your mind is "Teemo's Dad???". And no, while this isn't true, he basically is
Teemo's dad. They're both equally annoying and can clutch kills with 5HP. Except
Heimerdinger does it better.

.....

.....

CH-1 Electron Storm Grenade Stun Grenade (E): This is your grenade. If you directly hit someone you stun them for a short duration. If you don't directly hit them but they were in range of the blast radius, they are slowed. I've also noticed that I do a tick off of their health. I don't know if this is a bug or a glitch but I have not yet found anything saying that it does this.

....
These all are just low class items. If you don't have enough gold for the Killer Build, then you can use these items as replacement. Always buy a
Tear of the Goddess in the beginning of the game because you'll find that Heimerdinger runs out of mana quickly.
.... ....
Pick up this item early game. Not only will it be at full stacks mid game, but you also get lots of mana, which is what Heimerdinger needs. Make this at least the second item you pick up.
.... ....
These items are clearly for the ability power. Since Rabadon's is very expensive, you can pick this item up mid/late game. Zhonya's Hourglass can be bought late game as well, but I do recommend you buy a Zhonya's before you buy a Rabadon's because of the active. Rylai's, honestly, it doesn't really matter when you buy it unless you're going up against tanky champions.
.... ....
This item will make your enemies scream in fear. And no, it's not just the ability power, it's not just the health, it's not just the magic penetration, but it's the PASSIVE. Burn your enemies for 6% of their current health. If their moment is impaired they take double damage. It's beautiful :,)
.... ....
This item is a good replacement for boots, and gives you ability power and a nice passive. Similar to Liandry's Torment, the passive give your next basic attack bonus damage from 75% of your AD and 50% of your AP.

Heimderdinger is easy to play, but takes strategy to play him right. So how I do such thing you ask? Well I'll tell you.
Once the kind lady welcomes you to the rift put a point into your Q for early minion clear and lots of CS. From there on upgrade your W, then E. From now on you'll be upgrading the W the most, your Q second, and your E third. And of course anytime you can upgrade your ultimate.
Place turrets in the middle of the lane. When your turret is done refreshing, place them closer towards the enemy territory. Why? Because it's hard for people to take out your turrets without getting hit by your rockets. Unless they're ranged of course. Poking and trading with Heimerdinger is like taking candy from a kid that's lending you candy. You can't touch this guy. And the enemy tries attacking you they're gonna risk getting stunned with your E, and then getting rekt with your W.
So use your turrets for early lane pushing. Use your W for doing damage. And use your E to position everything. Honestly Heimerdinger is one of the most fun champions you'll ever play as, next to
Rek'Sai,
Gnar, and a few others.
If someone is chasing you, stun them, use your W, then run to your turrets. They're gonna think that they can kill you, BUT THEY CAN'T! The turrets are like Teemo's Toxic Shot. You think you're gonna kill him and then Teemo's pops an auto and BOOM! you're dead.
When to use your ult on turrets: When an enemy is chasing you and you are low health. This should take care of them. But use this especially if you're bad at landing skill shots.
When to use your ult on rockets: Unless you can't land skill shots, USE THIS 100% OF THE TIME.
When to use your ult on bombs: If your playing support than yes use this. If not, don't even THINK about it.
If you're used to playing the highly strategic
Teemo, you should be able to rek any lane you feel like. So for Teemo mains learning to play his father, think of the turrets as mushrooms, the rockets as blinding dart, and the bombs as a toxic shot that stuns. And think of your ultimate as, well, the reason why you're probably gonna get a penta.
Honestly this is all you need to know about how to play Heimerdinger. He's fun, he's practically unkillable, and is like Teemo's Dad. You will be a the bane of everyone on the enemy team.
