This is a new and better Akali guide, Akali is my most played champion so i feel comfortable making guides for her because i know i can play her very well.

First of you start with enough stats from the runes to activate both of your passives, the reason being because you can start with other items than just dorans blade because you got AP runes. Although Dorans blade would be one of the best starting items for akali because of the health bonus and attack damage. It might not be the best way to have the runes set up but i prefer it because i get more than enough arm & magic pen from the way i have set up my masteries.

The way i set up my masteries is to max out all the penetration i can get from the Offensive page. I also maxed out most of the HP i can get from the Defensive tree because it will be of help for when you get the Atma's Impaler

At last i put 2 points in the Good Hands mastery for reduced death penatly.

The item build is pretty straight forward, start with a or Boots ofBoots of Speed & 3 Health Potions for more lain sustain. Max the spell Mark of the assasinMark of the assasin for more burst. then get a Hextech revolver for more lain sustain and ability power. Get a Sheen after that for more burst damage. Now you should pretty much be able to kill anybody this early in the game. This is when you build a Rylai's Crystal Scepter for the slow and health. After that you just complete all the minor items you have into major items. if you insist on going pure AP akali you can change the Hextech Gunblade into a Will of the ancients and the Trinity force into a Lich Bane. i left an item slot open because i have no item i usually buy there.. i always adapt that item slot to what i need to counter the enemy team or what my team needs.. i often buy a defensive item though.
