Use E to get out of Kled's Q and E back in and fight him. You will probably outrade him if you brought Conquerer (Which I recommend).

Very oppressive. Play around cooldowns and dont underestimate his damage.

that AoE barrel, that sustain, that poke, that Slowing CC, oh he is NOT fun to go against.
Garen
Uh Garen's E is the size of your shroud so don't think that saves you. Also, if you feed him 1 kill, you proabably just made him unkillable already. The recent mini-rework on Garen was a mistake holy crap.
Irelia
You outrade her you out roam her. What else would you want in a mid-lane matchup? She kinda technically scale better and has better wave clear than you, so don't just leave her to farm.
Kayle
Wow, those recent kayle changes really bomb akali really hard. Akali can solo kill Kayle 60 percent of the time, but Kayle can win the game 99.999999 precent of the time (exxagerated but OML). In midlane, you won't see her often but pls brainstorm on what you will do before the game.
Malphite
Oh yeah, he is tanky and has good defenses and poke and damage. Potent roams too. His scaling was nerfed recently so you shouldn't see too much of them now, but beware.
Mordekaiser
Oh yeah Bring Conquerer and its and easy lane. just need to kite with your Q and Passive Autos really well, and you are looking to catch this juggernaut off guard!
Pantheon
New Pantheon is easier than old Pantheon, but you can't underestimate his damage.
Renekton
Pretty much a lane bully most of the time anyway, no matter who he is going against, but play safe.
Swain
Oh wow, he is D A N G E R Stay away, bring Morellonomicon early, and beware of his stupid CC and Ultimate.
Teemo
You dumpter him level 6 so play safe until then.
Vladimir
OOF, it doesnt even matter what you do , Vladimir will just be more useful than you later in the game, this is a good ban to go for.
Wukong
DUDE, this champion is technially garbage tier, but he still has crazy slipperyness and burst. Be careful. Try to stay even in health.
Yasuo
Now this. This is a true skill matchup. A battle for both players to test their mechanics. The matchup can swing in anyone's favor, so careful!

I'd say that if you dont actually walk up in his face, you won't get poke to oblivion, so This is a lane where u can play safe and take electrocute so that you can use that extra damage later in the game for assassinations.

Take fleet and his silence orb thingy wont poke you to death anymore. BTW he scales hard so dont't die, I mean you shouldn't even be dying to a Kassadin in lane.

Katarina
This matchup had become more challenging because Akali's microstun on her R was removed. Play with caution, since she can burst you can get out very well.
Lissandra
Can lock you down, can poke you, can set up ganks, become invulnerable so your R2 doesn't register, etc. Lissandra is probably one of the hardest.
Lux
This champion is very telegraphed and does not have much mobility. Use this to your advantage.
Malzahar
Can set up ganks very well with R. Beware if Malzahar hits level 6 and has flash. Malzahar can also waveclear ten times better than you, so if you roam, you might lose a lot.
Morgana
You don't see much of Morgana mid, but her spell shield and root are dangerous. I'd say go Mercury Treads for this matchup for the Magic Resist and Tenacity.
Neeko
Annoying as hell, avoid her root, buy mercury treads, and use Fleet Footwork for your keystone.
Orianna
She doesn't really counter you that hard, she can zone you, but not kill you that easily.
Qiyana
This matchup could go either way. Overall, I'd say you do more damage than her earlier in the game, so go for those extended trades while she doesn't expect it.
Rumble
He will lock you down and spit fire in your face. Play safe. Very safe. Bring Fleet Footwork.
Ryze
Any competent Ryze player will just dance around dishing out huge damage to you. Bring Fleet Footwork.
Sylas
Dude, I swear Sylas hard countered Akali on release, but now, he is very underwhelming. Thank God he is not that annoying anymore.
Talon
Ok, in lane you can do some stuff in lane to stay alive, but holy crap this guy's roams are so good. And you can push in the wave all you want, but Akali's waveclear is underwhelming, so you will not be fast enough.
Tristana
Will poke you and oneshot you at the same time. Careful, and don't underestimate her damage and Mobility. You can definitely kill her level 6 however.
Twisted Fate
Okay, so TF is pretty much just going to not allow you to do much during the laning phase because he has good waveclear, damage, CC and Roam. Try to keep up.
Veigar
You really shouldn't be having trouble with this guy. Just be careful of his cage, that cooldown was buffed a couple patches ago.
Vel'Koz
Hm, kind of hard, not really, try to play around cooldowns.
Viktor
you can pretty much walk out of everything he throws at you because of your mobility.
Xerath
Careful, especially if you cannot dodge skillshots that well. This lane can be quite annoying, remember to bring Fleet Footwork.
Zed
Before level 3, you win trades, so play aggressive then. Zed can really catch you off guard with his burst, so try to stay even in health.
Ziggs
HOLY MOLY ANNOYING GET HIM OUT BRING FLEET FOOTWROK AND JUST TRY TO NOT DIE.

she isn't really like "annoying" compared to other mages because her e and Q can't really go through minions. Careful, though she can turn the fight well if you underestimate her because she can pick up random spells yikes.
