Why I never get a Sightstone? Because it is expensive and you simply don't need those wards and hp. Let ur support ward. Your job is to cripple the enemy team early and guess whats helpfull for winning early? Yes that's right tons of Damage is the best to win games early.

Why I don't go for Tank items like...

Spirit of the Ancient Golem - It will cripple your early game and lee sin is all about the early game.

Randuin's Omen - It is a good Item. No doubt. The problem is that my build is a badass assasin tons of damage build.

Thornmail - I only get this vs a feed AD carry.

Guardian Angel - This item is only usefull for ULTRA LATE GAME, when death timers are becoming a hughe danager and a lost teamfight can make your Team lose the game.

Banshee's Veil - Good Item. Get it if you face heavy CC, burst damage or whatever. If you are miles ahead simply damage is a better choice, that's why it is not in my build.

Warmog's Armor - Well its 1000 hp nothing more. You aren't a tank. and have no CC so this item is a waste and will cripple your Teamfight power if you waste your gold too early for it.


Maw of Malmortius - Great if the enemy team has a lot of magic damage. It gives you damage, so it fits into my build. But it is situational.


Why i don't go for Damage Items like...

Blade of the Ruined King - It's a good item, but lee sin is more a burst champion that deals damage with his abilitys. So it isn't as usefull as on other champions that are auto attackers.

Infinity Edge - Too expensive and i doubt you can do enough autoattacks in a fight to make this item worth the price.

Mercurial Scimitar - Too Expensive.

Sword of the Occult - High risk - high reward. Only get it vs noobs.

Bloodthirster - Because Hydra is the better choice for lee sin.

Trinity Force - Too expensive. There are better options that cost you less Gold.

Wriggle's Lantern - Simply because as lee sin you want to counterjungle and/or gank a lot this item isn't for you.

I am a Gold Player that enjoy playing Lee Sin in the jungle. At the moment i play some normals, because i tryharded too serious in Rankeds and felt that i need a break from the competetive enviroment

For Runes i take attack damage marks, armor seals, magic resist glyphs and attack damage quints. That's the standart Runepage that gives you a strong earlygame and that's what you want as Lee Sin: Stomping the enemys early.

For Masteries i took 21-9-0 for maximum Damage.

early game:
3 possibilitys:
1. Invade the enemy jungle
2. Get blue or red buff and then counterjungle the enemy jungler at his second buff (you have to know where he started)
3. Rush Level 3 and then go for a gank.

Important: Don't die during a gank if you have red/blue buff. This is the worst thing you can do as a jungler.

mid game
It depends on if you get some early kills/assists and killing the dragon. Overall you want to gank and counterjungle as much as possible. Only gank if you are sure that your gank will be succesfull. For counterjungle you should watch the jungle Timers and ward the enemy jungle. Just make sure to not counterjungle by feelings. Counterjungle by knowledge.

late game
Focus on Objectives (that means only use smite for baron and dragon) and know your role in teamfights. You don't want to be that guy that initiate fights. You want to go in, kill the enemy carrys and get out. You can also protect your carry in case he is feed.

You should always focus on getting as much gold as possible. Don't be that guy that is waiting 4 minutes in the brush to get a succesful gank. You wan't to only gank if the enemy is pushing to your tower so he has almost zero chance to escape from your gank.

Never listen to noobs. In fact there are many people that QQ because they lose their lane and they blame you as a jungler for their misstakes. You want to focus on your knowledge. Don't gank somebody that feeded. Don't give a person blue or red buff that dies all the time. Play smart and gank when you think that you will be succesfull. Don't gank if a rager asks you to gank all the time.

For counterjungleling make sure that you know where the enemy jungler is. There is no point in beeing in the enemy jungle if you don't know what you are doing. Wards are very helpfull for this and also you can watch the jungle timers and try to pretict where the enemy jungler is. In case you want to really mess the enemy jungler up. kill the big monsters of the camps and let the small monsters stay alive. This is very usefull in case you play against a Feral Flare jungler, because they need those big monsters to actually become usefull.

Practice is the key. Jungleling is very situational. You will need tons of games to get a feeling on what is your job as a jungler. You will need even more games to actually realize why and when u have to do a gank/counterjungleling/farming your jungle/doing dragon/doing baron. This needs a lot of time and it makes jungle the hardest role of this game.
