Pretty hard lane. Outranges you and scales better. The way to play this lane is to take short trades rather than all ins as your ult is better for initiating or finishing off fights. Do not all in unless you have an extremely aggressive support or it is a 3v2 (in your favour).
Ashe
Skill matchup. Try to stay behind minions so avoid getting hit by her W. Would recommend rushing boots as her passive is pretty annoying to deal with. Would recommend taking cleanse if they have more cc in the team as her R hits like a truck.
Caitlyn
Outranges you. Has same scaling as you. Sometimes good to go doran ring if the enemy support also has a lot of poke. Try to freeze the wave and wait for the jungler to gank.
Draven
Pretty strong champion. Doesn't have any mobility so if you get a good w try going in. Try playing with vision and staying in bushes so he cant auto attack you as his whole kit is based around auto attacks. Do not go for all ins unless his support is super passive.
Ezreal
Avoid getting hit by his q and specially the wq combo. Try baiting his e out so you can get a good stun with your w.
Jinx
Another pretty weak adc. You outrange her. Be sure to dodge her w's as they hurt. Do not let her farm too much as she outscales.
Kai'Sa
Try to walk away from her when she gets too close to you as all the q rockets directed to you will hurt. Try rooting her using w after she used her e as it grants her movement speed.
Kalista
lol
Kog'Maw
Not a big threat. Unless it is Lulu Kog'Maw. You outrange him, try bullying him pre 6 as that is when he gets his ult which is kinda annoying.
Lucian
Pretty strong champion right now. His q can go through minions so do not stand behind them. Try using w to root him after he uses e. Stay behind minions as they block his ult.
Miss Fortune
Do not stand behind almost dead minions as her q will shred you. Take short fights and back off, do not fight her in small spaces where you have no escape as her ult is really big range and lasts for a while. Try bullying her in lane using your bigger range.
Samira
I ban her every single game. Simply unbalanced champion. While the laning phase against her is quite easy, (just stay behind minions when she uses q) the champion is just unfair. She can come back from being 0/10 through however many dashes she gets, ults and whatever. Just play with as much distance as you can.
Senna
One of the champions which actually outranges you which puts you at a disadvantage. The laning phase isn't too hard as she is quite weak early but her mobility around the map and global ult make her a big issue for the rest of the team. Try to go for medium length trades as in short ones she will win because of her outrange.
Sivir
does anyone even play this??
Tristana
Becareful for the all in in lvl 3 as she has really high base damage. Laning phase should be quite easy.
Twitch
Twitch is honestly a really easy lane, but there are 2 problems: his invisibility and his ult. While the invisibility shouldn't be that big of a problem and can be countered (control wards and oracle lens) his all in potential while getting behind you is crazy. If he is behind you and ulting, get away! he WILL outdamage you.
Varus
Easy lane. Avoid being hit by his q. Other than that nothing really difficult.
Vayne
Vayne is actually a pretty hard champion just because of the damage her passive can produce. Don't let her 3rd auto attack hit you to otherwise it will be a LOT of damage (her passive and usually PTA). You can ocasionally auto attack her here and there but don't go for all ins as you will lose. Take short trades.
Xayah
Pretty weak champion unless she has Rakan as her support. Move away from her feathers because she can stun you using them.
Alistar
Don't let him get close to you as he has a lot of cc and will not take a lot of damage. Try to bully him through range and use your e in bushes so he can not just camp there all the time.
Bard
Nothing special, try to avoid getting hit by his q as it is a really good engage tool. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT follow his portals unless you have complete vision of the opposite side.
Blitzcrank
Almost every time you get hit by his q and you do not have any summoner spells, you are likely to die. Use your e in the bushes and stand behind minions. Play off his q cooldown as he really only posts a threat when he has his q.
Brand
His spells burn and hurt. Scales very well specially if he goes dark harvest. You can dodge his abilities. When he ults get away from any minions or allies.
Braum
Don't use your 4th shot or even your auto attacks when he has his shield facing your way. Try to predict his ult and dodge it.
Janna
Dodge her q's as they are an insane poke + engage tool. Always look around your lane because you see can see the tornados being formed even if you don't have vision on her. Dodge her q's in advance as you will be surprised by how far they can fly.
Karma
Personally, nightmare to lane against. Her q with the steroids of her r do a lot of damage. She has an advantage in the early game and she has her ult unlocked straight away. Be careful of the level 3 all in. Try to play from distance and all in when you and your support both hit level 6.
Leona
Usually take cleanse 90% of the time specially if the enemy adc also has cc. Her e can go through minions so be careful. Do not waste your 4th shot unless it is to get movement speed on her while she uses her w ability since it defends A LOT of damage.
Lulu
Very big poke as a support. Be careful of the insane outplay potential from the knock up of her ult and being able to save any ally.
Lux
Her e is VERY annoying. Almost impossible to dodge and her full combo hurts a lot. My advice is if she misses her q just go all in as thats the only guranteed way she can hit both her e and ult for maximum damage.
Malphite
Not really an issue unless he has his ult. After he uses his ult he is useless.
Morgana
Similar to Lux except way less damage output. Her q only hits 1 enemy therefore playing behind minions is safe. It is an option to take cleanse here.
Nami
Dodge her abilities and you will be fine, quite easy to sidestep and her damage isn't great. Her ult is hard to dodge, instead of running away from it go right into it so the enemies have less time to react and go all in on you.
Nautilus
A huge danger to any adc. Can 1v1 until you get your core items and has insane cc. If you are ulted by him try to get as far away from him before the ult actually does it's thing so he can't go in back on you. Play around his cooldowns but do not let him get close to you as his auto attacks also root you.
Pantheon
Very strong champion early game. If I had to compare it to a champion it would be very similar to Pyke. Ping if he is missing as he is probably roaming. Do not waste your 4th shot while he is using his e. Be careful of the dive possibility since his e also tanks turret shots.
Pyke
Very similar to Pantheon. Try to juke him by sidestepping his q by getting really close to him. Get control wards in your lane to stop his passive (regaining health while not being seen).
Rakan
Once again not very strong unless it is a Rakan - Xayah combo. focus the adc instead of him as he does not have any damage and can easily dodge your w root as he has 2 dashes.
Sona
Heavy poke lane. Do not trade with her in short trades as not only will she outdamage you with her passive steroid but will also get herself gold from her support item.
Soraka
Dodge her q so she cannot sustain her adc. focus her instead of the adc. Getting executioner's on the first back is a good idea.
Swain
He can probably 1v1 you specially if he has his ult. Play around the cooldown of his e. He can not drag you back to him with his e if you are under your turret.
Tahm Kench
Don't let him get too close to you because he will swallow you if he hits 3 abilities on you.
Taric
Just make sure to remember that his e also goes from his partner so you can get stunned even if he is not right next to you.
Thresh
Thresh is obviously a strong support. He has a really good all in and has potential to not let you move at all. Once again play off the cooldown of his q but don't forget that he can also engage on you using flash e r , etc.
Vel'Koz
Super annoying poke lane! Try to save your flash if you can so that when he ults you can flash it to the side, auto attack, w him. Don't forget that he can have 2 w's at once. His q is pretty easy to dodge but focus on csing instead of trading with him.
Xerath
Another poke support however much easier to deal with than Vel'Koz because of his mana issues and his abilities being much easier to dodge. Be careful when you are ulting on low health because he can finish you off like a sitting duck using his ult with a much bigger range than yours.
Yuumi
Annoying!!!! Stand behind minions when she tries to q you. Consider getting executioner's calling as a first back.
Zilean
Quite weak champion except for his q's. Don't get hit by them. Try to force out his ult by constantly poking either him or the adc. Then go for an all in.
Zyra
Another super annoying poke support. Try to position yourself in lane where she doesn't have her unopened seeds yet for her plants to grow. You have time to get out of her ult most of the time so focus on doing that instead of attacking her while being inside of her ult.
My name is Kar and I'm an adc main. I mostly play Jhin and other adcs. I have been playing since season 8 so I am quite new to the game however I quickly learned and now I am really close to Diamond. I play on EUW servers and have many accounts as I have already been permanently suspended 4 times (for toxicity)
