Hi! I'm a guy with 3 years of experience of the League. This is the first time ever for me to make an guide. I got no experience what so ever about what you want to read or know. I just went on what my stomach told me...Frankly it was food...Anyway I'm a Silver player who play all roles. I decided to make a Thresh guide, since I play him the most at this moment. I also want to share with you how FUN he can become when you start to dominate with our Q Death Sentence. Then it will just be more and more fun when you start combine all your abilities like E Dark Passage and the hook Death Sentence! So here we go! Enjoy!

Pros + High damage with Flay passive + Low Mana costs + Very powerful vs AD teams with so much free armor + Can save allies with lantern + Strong early if good with skill shots + Heavy CC Thresh has a high burst early with the passive from Flay and thanks to his Q + W combo makes it easy to gank. He also leave a big pressure on the enemy adcs since if they are out of position or just greeding for a minion his basic and Flay can be devastating!

Cons - Can only escape with his Death Sentence, otherwise he has no escapes - Can be easily punished if he misses his hook or positions wrong - Hard to learn - No scaling MR as a tank, very susceptible to AP burst. - No sustain early game Thresh is an high risk, high reward and an early mistake will take it's toll until late if u can't make up for i, so be wary!

support, you don't need the offensive tree, and extra armor from Enchanted Armor and block of damage form Block is much better on a support then damage.

I go for mana regen since Thresh is an champion that uses mana so Meditation is a must. Also i pick Expanded Mind for even more mana! :)

Alchemist and Culinary Master is good since since it will make our pots even better and u will help you to survive the last tick of an Ignite for example.

Since you are playing as a support u need gold, even though you will get more in this season, it's always better to get extra. That is why i choose Greed , Scavenger , Wealth and Bandit .

Movement is also important on a support to dodge skillshots and get back to lane even faster! Which is the reason i pick Fleet of Foot and Wanderer .

This is my standard Thresh support runes. It gives you a little more damage from Mark of Attack Damage this will make u more of a treat in lane and with our passive from Flay your basics will become feared. For Quints I have 2x Greater Quintessence of Health and 1 Greater Quintessence of Armor since you get the hp you need and at the same time some armor.
When it comes to Glyphs and seals I go with armor 9x Greater Seal of Armor and magic res 9x Greater Glyph of Magic Resist, since you will get what you need to do your job as a tank support such as Thresh

You can always lab around and find what you prefer yourself!

Flash is an summoner spell that almost everyone uses, the reason you should get it for Thresh, is because it will help you to line up for an Death Sentence or an Flay, for the chase to be complete. Also have a good escape potential if used right.

The reason I believe that Thresh "needs" Ignite is because it gives the botlane an higher kill potential as well of finishing of enemies that your adc can't get without taking unnecessary tower hits and maybe die.

Exhaust is an really good summoner spell on all supports since it will slow enemy champs and at the same time lower the attack speed of the enemy adcs for exemple.

This is the reason all of them is viable to. So before a game you should take in consideration all of these spells and think what your team needs and how you want to play in your lane.

This is a very good way to start with Thresh since the most adcs, (Attack Damage Carries), aren't that strong level 1, at the same time you can apply pressure from your basics early on in the game.

• I choose to max my Q Death Sentence first since it's the main source of how I play Thresh, (meaning I hit many hooks), I max it first since I get lower cooldown and more damage early for easy kills. REMEMBER that Thresh takes time to master so don't expect to hit all your hooks, just because you follow this guide.
  
• Getting my E Flay next is because, it's an awesome spell which interrupts charge abilites like Xin Zhao's E Audacious Charge or Jarvan IV's E + Q combo and much more!
  
• Last I get my W Dark Passage since it's not the ability that you need more then the others. It's an awesome ability for ganks, gap closing as well as saving someone that can't escape otherwise.
  
• At last The Ultimate of this awesome champion, Thresh's R The Box is a heavy slow that procs by an enemy champion walking in to one of the five walls he creates. NOTE: a champion can go into multiple walls! Since it's an ultimate upgrade it whenever it's possible (6, 11, 16).

Mobility Boots is the boots that is preferred on a support Thresh since he will have high mobility and be able to move around helping as many as he can. Even though I prefer this boots, you should take into consideration on Mercury's Treads since it's better vs heavy cc teams. .

Ruby Sightstone is the perfect item for a support in both early and late. It will give you an extra amount of hp as well as 5 free wards each time you go back. With this said you would save a lot of money from not buying wards and focus on building better items for your team.

Sunfire Aegis is an good item on any tank, it will give you armor as well as HP. Since Thresh is a support who you play as an tank it will be perfect item vs heavy ad teams or a strong botlane.

Locket of the Iron Solari is the upgrade from Aegis of the Legion. It has all you need, HP regen, HP, armor as well as magic resist. It is an activation item which will give your allies, close to you, a shield to absorb damage. Why this item is good on Thresh is that it will give you an good engage with it's defensive stats as well as a shield for the front lines, and combined with an Sunfire Aegis you can stay in the front even longer!

talisman of ascension

Nomad's Medallion is an item what grants you gold each second and and for every minion that dies around you, you get gold to. And when it's been upgraded to the talisman of ascension it will also work as an aoe movement speed buff to allies upon activation.

Iceborn Gauntlet this is an cc tank item, and like we all know Thresh is a tank support, so by acquiring this item we get even more damage on our basic and at the same time a lot of armor.

/Well this is it for the moment, I got to say this isn't the best guide on Thresh. (Yet!!) I will make a lot of updates and fix images and a also if I got the time even make a video.
