2.I have played for 2 years with Amumu as my first main
3.I have been influenced by Balori
make use of amumu combos like q-w-e in their wave so to reset e faster. Know that Amumu mid weakness is that many champs overpower him early so make sure you do not get caught up because you use q without flash for escaping or r to kill your laner.
Since amumu is fairly weak early, use your r to win your lane or stop jg from catching you.Then, you should have a gold lead and continue snowballing and avoid ganking if your mid laner stays mid.Before lv 6 you should not roam outside of mid because of amumu low mobility.
(force the enemy to fight a teamfight while trying to be safe in your team so as to not die.
1. farm
2. do not die UNLESS for the team
3. kill enemies
For this build to work well, you need to think of your opponent moves and how you will play against yourself.This will allow you to avoid mistakes for every match up.)

2.ward the 2 side bushes( use ghost poro and wards )
3.avoid dying in lane( back when you know that you cannot stay in lane)
This will prevent enemy from getting back your lead and make them further behind .Remember to keep your enemy guessing of your position where possible(pretend to back at appropiate places or avoid their jg path route).this will open up opportunities where you can land more SURPRISE combos(flash + r + w + e)
Amumu becomes a monster mid to late game with the 3 full items.

way to gank if have flash and r:toggle w,then r + flash together to cancel animation and lastly e (to electrocute AOE at btm lane or team fight)
way to gank without f and only q:q from fog of war on mid/top then w and e for laner to pick up kill(works only if they have no vision or you are not seen anywhere yet)
