Hi guys this is my first build on Mobafire and i want to share with you my own way to play Rengar in the top or mid lane. Im Tatticadanit0 i play on EUW and i always try different ways to play some champion, that's a little story: a day i want to try ap rengar, at the start of the game my team rage at me cause i was ap rengar, at the end of the game i was 9/2 and they dont say anything after i have posted the question "ap rengar sucks ?" THE END. Now let's go to the guide !
P.S. Im not english so if i write something wrong please tell me.

Pros [*] High burst damage [*] Stealth [*] No mana [*] Great chasing potential through bushes [*] He is a lion !

Cons [*] Ultimate can be countered by oracle [*] Easy harrassable by ranged champions [*] If you kill Kha Zix nothing happens with this build

You have only one skill who do damage so you need this.
I prefer Ghost for the chasing potential and + combo for some epic gank in mid lane.
If you prefer you can take flash insted of Ghost

You are an AP champion so you need some flat AP for some burst damage.
I prefer magic pen for more burst damage but you can also use for more ap.
I use armor seals cause who dont need armor ? but you can replace this seals for the seals of health.
MOAR AP ! You can replace this with if you are vs an ap champion.

You obviously max cause is the only skill who scales with AP so your primary source of damage. After i like max for the attack speed that gives me pushing power, if you want you can also max insted of .

START
This start gives you the speed and sustain, you already have sustain so if you want you can pick up a sight ward insted of
CORE
This item gives you everything you need: CD reduction and AP
This item gives you more burst damage you must buy as soon as possible and you must use it.
It's time to upgrade the boots ! if you want more burst damage buy , if you want more damage in teamfight insted of 1vs1 pick up .
This item gives HP. magic pen and a damage over time so it's so good on AP Rengar !
This item helps you to get your pent.. ehm decakill, your and procs .
This item give you 120 AP and incrase the ap by 30% OP ! But dont buy two cause it will not incrase the AP by 60%.
OFFENSIVE ITEMS
AP Rengar benefit so much from magic pen so.. why not ?
Thsi item gives CD reduction and it's always good on Rengar
DEFENSIVE ITEMS
If the enemy AP is fed buy this.
This item gives you HP, AP and your skills always slow so its a good item if they focus you a little bit.
This item gives you magic resist, AP and a good hunting/chasing potential.
If they focus you always buy this. You can also buy this when the enemy AD is fed.
Buy this if they focus you but dont buy if you buy .
More heals, CD reduction and magic resist you can pick up this in the laning phase for epic sustain.
If your team need a tank buy this, jump into the enemy team and.. SHOUT !.

Abuse your for farming and harrass. Remember: your proc and . when you have 4 stack of Ferocity jump on the enemy and use two times in a row then if the enemy is at low hp you can use wait until you have 5 stack of ferocity then jump and the enemy and SHOUT !
