Introduction of Teemo

Introduction

Welcome to my First Guide :)

Teemo is the first champion that i played in League of Legends.
Let me share with you my experience,
When i first started playing League of Legends, Teemo was my 'main' and i picked him every game because he is so cute and lively :D

In the other hand, he is pain and a hardcore ability power champion. Of course, he can be played with Attack Damage or Hybrid. However, I prefer Ability Power Teemo.

He is such a lively champion. He is fast in movement, fast in attack speed, pain in attack, pain in poison, good in slowing(Mushrooms, Ulti) and he is stealthed whenever he stays still for a few moments :D

Stealth is a really good passive because he can always 'peekaboo' at a champion. It takes skills and tricks to use his passive. When Teemo is fed, ggwp ;)

Teemo is played to win, he is a good carry. However, i seldom see Teemo in Ranked Games anymore. Honestly, he is a good carry. Use him often and train him well! You will know the power of Teemo.

So, Have fun playing Teemo and do read my guidelines because im very fluent and experienced in Teemo. I play Teemo to win. He has never failed to amaze me. Enjoy :)

Pros/Weaknesses

Teemo - Pros/Weaknesses

Pros:

[*] Fast Movement Speed (Escape/Chasing/Farming/Ganks/Turret Saving)
[*] Fast Attack Speed (Attacking Turrets/1 on 1 fight/Attacking)
[*] Blinding Dart (Opponent Champion's normal attack is just as useless and Blinding Dart is pain as well)
[*] Poison (Finishes up low champions, deals more damage to champions)
[*] Good in Slowing Opponent Champions (Mushroom / Ultimate)
[*] Painful Damage (Mushroom, Blinding Dart, Normal Attack and Poison)
[*] Free Wards (Mushroom / Ultimate)
[*] Passive (Stealth)
[*] Ranged (Poking)

Weaknesses:

[*] Focused Carry on Team Fights/Ganks
[*] VERY Squishy unless you build sustainability which I am really talking about it alot
[*] Short-Ranged
[*] Oracle's Elixir and Vision Ward is a horrible thing that can bring you down.
[*] Needs alot of practice on Mushroom Placement and whether to engage or gank.
[*] If he is really being focused on badly and Flash will not be able to help much either.
[*] No jungle tactics for now. You can jungle with him if you are GOOD. However, it is not a good jungler.

Summoner Spells

Summoner Spells

You have ALOT of various Summoner Spells you can use once you reach level 30.
However, you must choose your Summoner Spells wisely. The reason lies on that every champion uses different kinds of Summoner Spells if you want them to use it good.

For teemo:

NONONONONONONONONO, DEFINITELY NOT:
*Like seriously? Take this and it is quite a waste of summoner spell slots.*

Smite
You are not a jungler. So, NO.

Clairvoyance
Cant you just use your Mushrooms? If you really need vision, place mushrooms.

Revive
You wouldnt need this. You can just speed run to the place after you revive. You are fast, keep that in mind.

Erm, nehhhh...:
*Not really suitable*

Clarity
You wouldnt need this, you get mana hungry because you placed too much mushrooms. Everyone can understand that but dont get this, i feel that it is a waste of summoner spell slots. Get a mana potion with you if you want.

Cleanse
Erm, if you are scared of ignite, get heal. If you are scared of exhaust, get flash and you will be able to speed-run madly after you flashed because you are Teemo, keep that in mind.

Barrier
-.-? Use heal, it is permanent.

Teleport
You are fast, you can run like mad to the place you want, you are Teemo.

Exhaust
Your mushrooms can do the work, unless you tell me you dont put mushrooms if you are going to run or engage-.-

YES, THIS IS THE ONES YOU SHOULD GET AFTER READING ALL THIS SUMMONER SPELLS:

Flash
To help you to escape or chase, you may not need this because you are teemo. However, it will still be useful, you can always get this changed into ghost. Both are just as fine :)

Ignite
Deal more damage :D

Ghost
Move Quick(W) + Ghost + Boots + Homeguard = Mad Speed OMG. However, dont use ghost in the fountain and base-.- unless you need to really go to somewhere REALLY FAST AND URGENT.

Heal
Sustainability :D

Masteries and Runes

Masteries and Runes

I picked the Masteries and Runes as shown below is because that i want Ability Power, sustainability and utility.

RUNES

9 Greater Glyph of Ability Power This runes gives +1.2 Ability Power each. As a hardcore AP Teemo, you need this SO BADLY. SO IMPORTANTLY. You need them for your early game dominance and kills. It can help you ALOT in early game to get fed and dominate late game as well.

3 Quint of Ability Power This runes give +0.59 Ability Power each. Well, as i said. Hardcore AP Teemo needs ALOT of Ability Power. If you want more sustainability you can change this to health or armour. However, it should be fine if you get it as Quint of Ability Power :)

9 Mark of Ability Power This runes give +0.59 Ability Power each. Enough said. Hardcore AP Teemo :)

9 Seal of Ability Power This runes give +0.59 Ability Power each Ability Power. Ability Power. Ability Power. We need ALOT of AP Runes for early game dominance.

3 Seal of Armour This runes give +1.41 armour each. This is basically for your early game sustainability. I know it will not be alot. Thats why you get one boot, two health potions and one mana potion at the start. If not, get a Crystalline Flask , as much Health Potion as possible and one Mana Potion

Items

Items

Early Game

There are 3 choices for you. I personally like the first two.
As for Doran's Ring, i don't really recommend it unless it is a lane that you can REALLY dominate in without any sustainability, if not don't get it at the start.

1st Choice:

Item Sequence

Health Potion 50
Health Potion 50
Mana Potion 0
2nd Choice:

Item Sequence

Health Potion 50
Health Potion 50
Mana Potion 0
3rd Choice:

Mid Game:

There isnt much of a choice just that you can change the sequence, but i strongly recommend you NOT TO. Get some hardcore AP items first(1st Choice), you can build health and armour during late game. If not, get 2nd Choice.

1st Choice:
1st Choice is just about hardcore AP items.

Item Sequence

Stinger 1100
Fiendish Codex 900
Nashor's Tooth 3000
Blasting Wand 850
Needlessly Large Rod 1250
Rabadon's Deathcap 3600
Morellonomicon 2200
2nd Choice:
As for 2nd Choice is about AP items with more health and armour(sustainability).

Item Sequence

Stinger 1100
Fiendish Codex 900
Nashor's Tooth 3000
Giant's Belt 900
Blasting Wand 850
Amplifying Tome 400
Rylai's Crystal Scepter 2600
Morellonomicon 2200

Late Game:
You have not much of a choice either during Late Game. Opponent champions are mostly getting alot of magic resist and health to be against you. Hence, you should start getting Health and Armour before they start being so aggressive with so much health, you need more time to kill them and you are so squishy resulting them to kill you easily.

The only difference between the whole build is either Zhonya or Guardian Angel.
Zhonya's passive is able to place your champion for 2.5 seconds of invulnerable state BUT unable to take any actions. It gives MORE AP and some armour.

Guardian Angel is LESSER AP than Zhonya but has armour and magic resist.
Not forgetting the passive of being revived upon death, restoring 30% of maximum health and Mana.(Guardian Angel)

Let me explain further.
Firstly, Zhonys is what i prefer most. According to the fact that, it has MORE AP and abit of armour. It has the passive to be able to freeze and not let any champion do anything to you or you do anything to him. It is just like Guardian Angel, if you freeze during Zhonya, you will not take any damage and have some health left. As for Guardian Angel, you will fall to sleep and revive again with abit of health. Its almost the same. If the opponent REALLY WANTS TO KILL YOU. You will die no matter what if you come back into a state where they can kill you. UNLESS your team mates kill them before they kill you. OR, you kill them before they kill you. AND Zhonya provide ALOT OF AP compared to Guardian Angel who gives no AP. However, Guardian Angel gives you some magic resist.
Guardian Angel is a good choice. Indeed. However, since Teemo is being played as AP over here, get Zhonya. Its much more better. However, the price of both is VERY DIFFERENT. Zhonya costs more than Guardian Angel. If you are fed, you get Zhonya. If you are just in the range of so-so, then, plan things wisely.

1st Choice:
THIS CHOICE IS ONLY AVILABLE FOR YOU IF YOU PICKED 1ST CHOICE IN MID GAME.

Item Sequence

Blasting Wand 850
Amplifying Tome 400
Rylai's Crystal Scepter 2600
