Welcome to my guide of building an offtank Darius.

This is my first guide because I'm always seeing people build Darius with only tank items
wasting his potential. Darius so far is pretty strong and isn't really weak in any part of the game. You would really just build him like you would a Garen in early game.

Now before I begin with the guide let's get some things straight.

Why can't Darius be a tank?
Well because all of Darius's skills depend on getting AD or else he's just useless.
Darius is really slow but deadly.
Once you get engaged with Darius it will be very hard to escape from him.

Hemorrhage
This is your passive. Everytime you hit something with a skill or auto attack
it will make them bloody and bleed a curtain amount depending on your level.
This may stack up to 5 times.

Decimate
This will be you're main harassing tool.
It's damage is greatly based off your AD with low CD that could be used
multiple times in battle.

Crippling strike
This skill will be really important to use.
Because it slows down the enemies movement and attack speed.
And the great thing is that the more bloodier your opponent the lower
the CD on this skill.

Apprehend
This is a great skill to use when they run away.
NOTE that you should not use this when you don't need to
pull them in. There should be no reason to use this in battle
unless you really need the extra second for a skill. The CD on this
skill is really high.

Noxian Guillotine size
This will be your finisher. By the time you max out this skill
you would do 800 TRUE damage. Ya that's right TRUE damage and you
want to know something else? When you get the killing blow the CD refreshes
for you to use it again!



Darius is a very great offtank but can be very mana hunger early game.
But with the amount of harassing you should do early game, you should
have enough time to recall and drag your battle axe back to lane.

Pros / Cons

Pros

+ Deal a lot of damage any time of the game
+ Great in 1 v 1 situations
+ Can split open anybody
+ A Noxian Garen
+ Passive acts like a small ignite
+ A BAD ***!
+ Is hand of noxus

Cons

- Can't really engage first in team fights
- Mana hungry early game
- Is really slow
- Only has one gap closer
- Focused a lot because he isn't tryndamere

Here are just some Basic info on the summoner spells and how they would work
out for Darius.


- This is really important because of Darius's movement speed.

- This is also really important because of laning when you pull someone incase they over power you.
- It's pretty great on a Katarina that shunpo's to escape death.



- Great for escapes or chasing flashers.

- You will only need one of these. You will need this to go
with your Atma's Impaler. Because you will always be focused in a team fight because
you're not a Tryndamere that can be invincible for 5 seconds.

- This will just give you the extra hp and the slow to
capture you're prey. Because of your long CD on Apprehend, you will need something
to slow them down while the CD goes down.


- Because of your massive HP you will have around a 64
damage bonus from your Frozen Mallet and Warmogs. And a little bit of armor wouldn't
really hurt.

- This item's passive that reduces their armor will
really help you a lot. Because of your armor pent passive, you will do a lot of
damage.


- You will need this to make your opponent more
bloodier. Because the bloodier the better!



- With this item you really shouldn't recall
and it makes you one step closer to being Garen.

- You will be focused and most likely die.
But with this you will rape them all no matter how much HP you have.
