I Recommend Getting Long Sword + Potions For Start

E is Very Good At Level 1 Specially For Defending Buffs or Invading And it is Also Great Vs Ad Melee Champs (The Usual Solo Tops).
Maxing W First Gives Great Burst Damage as it Also Resets AA Timer.

This Masteries are Really Important to Try That Exact Way.
This Gives Jax The Necessary Tanky-ness For Early Levels And The Required Damage Mastries (Lethality And Frenzy).

These Are the Runes I Use For Jax. Try Them First. :)
You Can Also Get 3 Flat AD Quints Instead of The AS Ones.

Pros: High Sustain, Damage, and Powerful Push.
Cons: Risky. Really Hard to Catch on Champions With Escape Skills (Ez).

In Teamfights Try To Dive Onto The Enemy DPS With One of Your Teammates (Never Jump in Solo Unless You Are Sure No One Can Kill or CC You Immediately).
After Killing The Dps Continue The Fight With Your Team, Tanking The Damage And Dealing Some.
You Can Also Defend Your Dps if You Have An All In Enemy Team (Jarvan, Zed, Kha'Zix, ETC).
