Introduction

This is my guide for what i think, a perfect Ezreal. It's not Stonewalls jungle, it's more efficient, and much better imo.In my opinion he's the most awesome ganker with a red buff and when he gets and he's really ****ing fast in the jungle. Though many people will probably think this guide is ******ed when they see it's a jungling Ezreal, but those who stay, will see my awesome guide.
The thing i love most with Ezreal, is that when he gets the wriggle, he can take the dragon solo, if done right. I've taken him at lvl 5 solo.
This guide is for skilled players, and please don't vote it down because you can't handle it.

Pros & Cons

Pros
- THE MOST IMPORTANT PRO... So damn fun to play, fun to jungle and so sexy ganks.
- Great ranged carry which can keep up with solo lanes, and if you fail, you can still keep up with double lanes.
- Fast Dragon kill
- Fast jungle with .
- You will suprise your enemies, as most don't know how to play aginst a jungle Ezreal.
- Extreme farming capabilities and fast as **** farming, literly, fast as **** :(

Cons
- Hard... you need practice, and please play custom games in the jungle before playing and making people rage.
- Be careful and take it easy, it can be hard the few first lvls, and a little slow without .

Summoner Spells

These are the ones you should have



Smite
YOU NEED THIS. Without this, you will not be able to jungle

Exhaust
This just makes ganking so much simpler as Ezreal
already have a flash ability, Arcane Shift.

Other viable summoner spells to replace Exhaust



Ignite
If you feel like you need more killing power or just want to stop enemys with high health regeneration this can be nice.


Flash
This can be nice if you want to travel through a jungle quickly when you are being chased, though it's not needed because you already have Arcane Shift.

Ghost
It's just perfect if you want to chase for a longer time and Exhaust will not satisfy that need.


Heal
I put it in this list because you can use it, but... yeah... do what you want with it, could help jungling and ganks...

Teleport
This is a spell which you can use if you want to be able to cover any lane when it's needed, if they tell you they need you, you will be there in a matter of seconds, kind of useful that way.


Cleanse
This is a choice which is viable, but i do not really prefer it because it really doesn't help that much with gank to be honest.

Skill Explanation


Rising Spell Force
This is just so perfect, this is the reason Ezreal can jungle. It gives him so much attack speed


Mystic Shot
This is Ezreals main ability, with sheen and trinity force this can do a lot of damage, and the most coolest thing, is that it applies on hit effects... YEAH!!


Essence Flux
This is a great ability, but not early on, atleast when jungling, because Ezreal do not benefit from the bonus, and the actual spell doesn't hit creeps. THOUGH, It's really great later on in the game because of the Attack speed bonus it grants, with this, you and your team can push down towers very fast


Arcane Shift
This is your chasing and fleeing skill, this skill is just so wicked and so very, very, very, very, very, very awesome. It's a damaging flash, with a cooldown which can become like 6 seconds... very nice


Trueshot Barrage
This is a skill which AD Ezreal don't benefit as much as AP does, BUT, this skill is still very important, it has many uses.
1. Kill an escaping enemy with low hp.
2. If you're far away and someone survives an attack from a teammate, if you're good enough, you can kill them with it.
3. The most important thing with it is, in the begining of a teamfight, you can use this and you will most certainly get 5 stacks of Rising Spell Force instantly.

But you could do an exception, in teamfights, if you get Essence Flux so you can either keep your Rising Spell Force for a few more seconds or just decrease their attack speed.

Items

Starting Items



These are the must haves in your build, you need these or you won't be able to do it well.




Wriggle's Lantern
This item is just a must have and i shouldn't even
need to explain why you need to get this first!!
You get this, but sell it when you can replace it.


Berserker's Greaves
Ionian Boots of Lucidity
Boots of Swiftness
Are all viable choices and it all comes down to what you prefer.
I prefer Boots of Swiftness just because it allows you to chase much better. Especially while using Mystic Shot.


Tear of the Goddess
This item increses your mana soooo, so much and will
make you be able to stay out in batlle for so much longer,
because Mystic Shot + Mana + Life steal =
Be able to stay and farm for a long long while.

Pre-Midgame Items



These two items will help much more with you damage output so these are also a must




The Brutalizer
It got damage, armor pen, cooldown reduction. It's just a perfect item to get early on.
You could get Youmuu's Ghostblade if you want, but as Ezreal is ranged it's not the best choice. I usually sell it later on.


Sheen
This just works wonder with Mystic Shot like most Ezreal players know,
so getting it quite fast when you've got a little more damage makes it awesome.

Core Items




Trinity Force
What can i say about this item, it's just really amazing. It has everything + a improved sheen bonus.


Manamune
Great, great item. It provides you with the mana from the Tear of the Goddess and you gain the 1000 extra mana very fast with Ezreal. Therefore, you can benefit from the 2% attack damage from mana quite early.


Read the descriptions below, and when you are playing, try figure out what you need most



Banshee's Veil
Is a great item because it gives mana, health and a passive ability which resist one incomming spell, this is nice if someone gets off the stun they've been saving, but you just ignore it. But in my opinion, the most important thing with this item is the huge boost in magic resist. Unlike armor, magic resist doesn't increase with lvling if you don't have runes for it.

Quicksilver Sash
This is a great item, if they've got HARDCORE CC, or a morde or something like that, this can be used and try to instantly use Arcane Shift to escape. So it's really good, it can even break Destiny so you're not visible, or Paranoia


Here is just a choice of what you prefer.



The Black Cleaver
If they are getting more armor, but not enough armor for Last Whisper being worth it, this is really nice. Plus it gives your Mystic Shot 15 Armor reduction, as it's an on-hit effect.

Last Whisper
Like I said on The Black Cleaver, if you feel like you need to get this because they've got more armor so Last Whisper will be more usefull

Your last item choice, choose after situation.




Madred's Bloodrazor
Do your enemies want to get more hp, just get a Madred's Bloodrazor
and your Q will become a devastating harass to them.
This item hasn't a time in the game when you have to get it.
If they get hp early, grab this earlier.


The Bloodthirster
If you just want more damage and feel safe with your current defence stats,
i mean this item is super nice.


Frozen Mallet
I don't usually get this item, but if you feel like you need hp, and you know you can kite enemies, this helps a lot.


Sword of the Occult
Nothing wrong with this sexy beast item. If you're OWNING FACEget this item. and if you're losing stacks later on, just sell it. This with Sheen is so niiiiiice.

...........PS. Don't get Sword of the Occult in ranked. Most people will begin to start target the one with the snowball item much faster.

Ranked Play

I'm not gonna write very much here, but he's a viable jungler in ranked, but really, he shouldn't as it's much nicer when you can have a tank champion in the jungle, so you as Ezreal can go bot with a support and get someone to baby sit you... lovely <3.

Though, it is possible, and I can do it, but remember that most ranked games, have players that will try to f**k you over.

It will probably also require a team to play this with.

How to gank properly!!!

Just a short chapter, but a very important one. You start by jumping in with Arcane Shift so that it will hit the enemy champion you want to kill, just when you've done that you use your Exhaust and then finish the target by using Mystic Shot and Arcane Shift again when it's off cooldown.

Counter jungling!

This was requested from a comment, and I guess I will write a little about what I think about when I try to invade their jungle.

1. Remember that you're not as tough as most junglers and taking it easy when invading is really important, keep your thoughts on ways to escape, and make use of your Arcane Shift because it can save your life!!

2. If you've got the money to buy Sight Wards, do it. Placing Sight Wards in their jungle will help you know if you will be able to gank, kill their jungler, where to go, etc.

3. If you meet a jungler who relies on high bursts or similar thing, for example Xin Zhao. You will be able to take him if it's 1v1 with the use of Exhaust as it will disable the high damage output. What you need to do though is remember to kite and remember to play smart, don't overextend, try using all the walls.

4. If you're unsure when taking The Risky Route because you will not take your own blue, you can try to ward it after coming to the wolves the second time.


Here is a map of where putting wards may pay off!!
These are spots you CAN put wards, but you shouldn't put wards on all these places all the time, try to figure out where it will be most needed. Buy wards if you have the money to spend, but if your treasury ain't that big, skip some wards.

Light Blue Areas: These are for your own protection of your own jungle, if you know they are or will invade and try to steal buffs, here is where you want to put them, in the bushes, but still so you can see the buffs with the ward.

Teal Areas: These are for protecting your jungle, while still being able to see the river, all these spots will make sure anyone from the river wont be able to enter without you seeing them. These are also good for map control!!!

Dark Red: These are for you when you are jungling in their jungle, this is to make it easier on spotting incoming enemies so you can GTFO, They can also help you gank enemies who are switching lanes, or etc. Just good for spotting so...

Red: These are like the Light Blue areas, just it's for your enemies buffs. These will help you know if an enemy are attacking the buffs, so you might steal/prevent or gank that person.

Play Style through the different stages of the game

1. Jungling Phase



Remember!! If you've got a shot at a successful gank!! Take it, just follow the route if you never get a chance to gank!!!

The reason i don't do the regular jungle route in the begining is because it's both harder for ezreal to do it, and because he's not that mana dependent and i don't want to waste those precious masteries and runes for late game.
Plus, i feel that atleast when i gank, i really don't need the red buff that early when i gank, most ppl don't have boots, or upgraded boots, so Exhaust does the trick.


- The Risky Route.


This is a riskier start, Only use this one if you know that you will make it and be able to take their wraiths, it allows a quicker Madred's Razors. If you know they have the jungler at their blue, go ahead.
1. Grab their wraith camp by using smite on the blue wraith and then killing the other ones, keep using Mystic Shot as often as you can.

2. Run down to your wolves and grab a Health Potion and start [[Mystic Shot] when you get in range.

3. While running to your wraiths, grab another Health Potion and Smite the big blue wraith and start killing

4. When done with the wraiths grab the third Health Potion and go to the small golems. Here you start by Arcane Shifting and then use Mystic Shot.

5. Recall home and get a Long Sword and one or two Health Potions.

After this you repeat steps 2-5 and you will be able to buy a Madred's Razors and one more Health Potion.

6. Around this time you should be lvl 4 and have 4 Health Potion. Kill the blue golem.


( The reason you want around 4 Health Potions is to be able to stay jungling, ganking and just roaming for a while, so you can get back and get Wriggle's Lantern and Boots or more! )


7. Now, you are lvl 5 and the time should be around 6:30 and you should have a Madred's Razors From here you can:
a: Try to gank through the bush if the enemies have pushed the lane quite much.
b: Try to gank from behind if the lane isn't pushed by anyone.
c: Try and get their red buff, or jungle in their jungle, that would be taking their wraiths or mini golems.
d: Go gank mid lane.
e: Get your fat *** through your jungle again, grabbing the wolves, and the wraiths to take the red afterwards. After that you can try to gank mid or bot lane, or just grab the mini golems.

-The Safer Route with someone to leash


1. Start at the blue golem, and you need someone to leash it, start by killing the blue golem first and the proceed with the small wizards. You will have to use Smite directly after he have been leashed. Use a Health Potion as soon as you can.

2. Go to the wolf camp and clear it out. Take a Health Potion when you arrive at them.

3. This is why you need to use Smite as soon as possible at the blue golem, so it's off cooldown when you get to the wraiths, start by Smite the blue wraith and kill the other ones. Take another Health Potion.

4. As soon as the other Health Potion runs out, grab a fourth and kill the double golems.

5. Recall home.
---Repeat stages 2-5 after you've regenerated and bought a Long Sword and Health Potion.

6. Now you should be back at base at around 6 min mark and you will be around 20 exp from lvl 5. So you're still lvl 4 with Madred's Razors

Wriggle's Lantern Stage



This is the time when Ezreal is begining to shine, at this point he can begin to push lanes alot faster and his jungling is extremly fast, while not losing any health as long as he has mana for Mystic Shot. He can if you know what you are doing, pick of the dragon once you get your Wriggle's Lantern too. At this point you also need to try to gank much and help your teammates, and with red buff, you will devastate enemy squishys.

Mid Game



As you are the teams ranged carry, you need to always spend your time wisely, and for example if nothing is happening, try just to lane. At this point in the game, you should also atleast have The Brutalizer Sheen and Manamune. Or atleast a Tear of the Goddess. You will be able to dish out quite a lot of damage and with Exhaust as summoner spell, you will if timed correctly be able to take down any nuking hero, like

Late Game


At this point in the game, you should atleast have your core items and hopefully much more if you've been ganking much and trying to play smart. You are the AD carry of the team, but you should always, in every teamfight, wait until all the cooldowns of stuns are gone, and you're job is to take down their squishier targets.
