Threats & Synergies
Your E doesn't matter to his ult. Try to bully him early game before 6, and enjoy the lead while you still can :( It'll be hard trying to eat him with his E up. Also he has that stupid camoflauge that easily outheals your grey health in early game.
Bard can build up some wack damage from his chimes. Uhhh... just be careful and know how to play around his stuns. Care for roams. Bard'll still be squishy doe.
I HATE THIS B*TCH JUST GET THOSE 3 STACKS IN AND EAT HER UP ... stay safe, take E second, and get ready to get those 3 stacks in when you're all inning.
Bro this jerk can go chase a bag fr tho... like goddang his damage. Careful of his stun... throw some shade and douse his a$$ with some saliva when you're all inning. Time your E right when he ults.
Swallow your carry to deny hooks and etc. When he recasts his q, take that as an opportunity to surprise the enemy team by swallowing thresh quickly so that you can focus the enemy adc, or swallow your adc.
Deal with him similar to Thresh. Generally, you want to avoid getting hooked, but if you do, depending on the situation, you could turn the tables around quickly by quickly swallowing blitz and focusing adc.
light work. make him call you daddy kench.
Get your stun in faster or just swallow him. He lowkey kinda hawt doe 0-0
Like thresh, you can deny her stun-pull combo pretty easily. Just eat her up.
Same for most other stun/root supps. Be careful to not use your w on her shield. *edit* I just lost in a game against her ._.
He's a tank, and he's got a hook, but he ain't THICC like you. Out thicc him and licc him and respect him and you'll be fine.
Keep in mind of her polymorph. uh. ooga booga
A pain in the cheeks to deal with his turrets. Try to take as much turrets out with the least amount of poke as possible, since thats where his damage is going to come from. Remember to swallow your carry if they get stunned.
Care for Zoe's e through walls. Or else you finna go zzzzzzzzzzz Devour your carry when necessary, and be mindful of her q's. Also her spell-thief ability is stupid... you can't really do anything about that.
Once again, you gotta respect her crazy poke (if she lands it) and roots. Similar to heim, try to get rid of her plants, and swallow your carry when necessary. Also shes vegan ew. That automatically makes her an extreme threat >w<
With her poke, movement speed, and heal, you're gonna want to play safe, especially after her lvl 6. Whenever you do find and opportunity to all-in, however, you **** her up.
His ult doesn't mean shit to you in combat onna deadlocs. Be prepared for him to steal your carry's ult, and if he attempts to, quickly swallow your carry to deny it and have his ult on cooldown. Although you're probably not going to do that in all situations, just avoid his hooks and bait out his dash if you can before swallowing him.
free game. freebie
You know the drill. Avoid her roots and pokes, swallow your carry if they get rooted, and keep in mind that you can use your E last second to survive her ult.
Another annoying matchup. Don't try to trade with her and stay safe. She'll want to poke a lot with her q... prolly shouldn't have commented about how her coochie smelt like seafood wait wut
poke poke poke uwu - Keep in mind of his kit and his ult and you should be fine.
Galio will need to get up close and personal for him to do damage, so use that as an opportunity to smack his cheeks. Watch out for his taunt tho as well.
His poke and silences are reaallly annoying, but other than that, you should be able to win trades and fights against him after they are on cooldown.
Whenever he tries to pull up on you and your ADC, just swallow your ADC. Then you carry retreat or clap back depending on the situation. Assuming that they have Xayah, you want to be extra careful of their cc chains. You might even need to burn a flash.
Her heals and silences and pokes will be annoying, but with your godspeed lickitung move, it won't matter. Be careful until you get to that point though.
Have some awareness to try and not get fooled by her passive. She also has a root, and a way to escape or juke with her w.
What you really need to watch out for is his E. If you get trapped in that, it can be gg. Other than that, he has no way to escape your phat tongue xd
It can be a hassle to try to dodge all his abilities, so just go ultra instinct and juke everything. His ult can also wipe you and your carry out if you are low. Proceed with caution.
I must not know how to play against volibear or something. It's super hard to kill him later on when he just starts healing like a maniac, and it's generally a closed case once he's flipped you off (although that depends on his carry's follow up) Whatever you do, when it's past the beginning of the early game, don't get flipped.
This furry f**k is still annoying even at bot. Might wanna take E second and oracle lens, since his blind will deny your stacks, and if you try to engage, he'll just pop his q out and poison your health down. Try to bait out his q first, or wait for when it's on cooldown before engaging. Of course, beware the shrooms.
You'll be able to win early game with your quick 3 stacks. Once he scales however, he's going to become a lot more tankier than you if he builds standard Kench items, so watch out. Show him who's daddy.
Bit of a bruh moment, but if you ever see a zed support for some reason, you've got your E to deny his ult (unless you're too low) and W if he ults your carry.
You probably won't see this ever again, but if you do, you should be able to win lane. He got nerfed a lot in recent updates... he won't be able to upgrade items until lvl 13, so you should win the game by that point. Even so, care for his W + knockup, his Q+E knock up and his R knockup. Try to bait them out, and also try to catch him if he tries to escape with his e. Good news tho... his W no longer grants him a shield :D. Remember that he'll be able to buy items in lane, but he'll have to recall eventually if he gets poked down too much. Idk why I wrote so much about ornn supp (>-_-)>
Ew. Tibbers taste's icky. FBI will stun you if you try to eat this lil girl.
Champion Build Guide
TITLE IS MEANT TO SAY: HAIL OF BLADES KENCH (GETTING THEM PHAT STACKS FASTER THAN YOU CAN ***) since it's too long to show it all
Hi, I am an Iron 1 Tahm Kench player who really likes to play Tahm Kench. I've only played 3 ranked games this season, all without Tahm Kench, and I may have around a -192364% winrate overall, but I still got sum phat knowledge. I have played Tahm Kench ever since I started playing League, which was in late Season 8 and I assure you that if you like TK and are good at him, you are obligated to try this build at least once. This build is around the Domination Rune: Hail of Blades
Btw, this is my first guide, and so it will not look as proffessional as all the others ooph
If you cannot tell already, Tahm Kench is without a doubt my favorite/most played champion to play, as his kit, mainly his and , is a powerful tool not only to help take control over an enemy champion, but also to save and troll allies! I don't generally see him being played as in this meta which saddens me ●︿● Although he isn't no Thresh or Pyke, Tahm Kench is, in my opinion, one of the most enjoyable supports to play, and not just because he's thick-skinned, if you get me. It's also hilarious when you're able to pull off spitting out an ally over a wall, into a tower, or into the enemy base xd!
You will need to keep in mind that if you wan't to go the greedy route/play style as TK, it is best to use the Coin Emperor skin since it gives you extra clout. If you are looking for an in depth guide on the barebones on how to play Tahm Kench without any prior knowledge, then this is not the place for you!
Use these runes at your own risk! I highly prefer you to not use this build and runeset unless you actually are comfortable with playing Tahm Kench and you know how he works... also if the stupid emoticons UwU are annoying you, just tell me and I'll delete them, because I already caught a few chromosomes just by looking them up.
yes. twy it (･ω<)☆
PROS TO USING THIS BUILD/RUNEPAGE:
Leads to fast stuns/swallows (I explained it anyways)
You will no longer be lackluster when starting fights
Element of surprise (mostly in Iron)
N-Word Pass (jkjkjk don't blame me for being this way blame my momma)
Coin Emperor skin gives you free loot
Hail of Blades scales and has low cooldown
Even if HoB is down, your AS items will make it up
Lane pressure (everyone's gon respect ur crippin)
Coochie magnet (everyone's gon get a taste of you whether they like it or not)
Plus, enemy won't have time to *** when they see your
You are Moto Moto
CONS TO USING THIS BUILD/RUNEPAGE:
Ok no but seriously:
Less of a... support I guess?
Will get flamed if you don't do good
You're still only Tahm Kench, just more swag. You still have to get into melee range against anyone, and you still have low mobility in fights. Overall, it can be a "High-risk High-reward" type of situation.
Uhhh but aside from that there basically are none ◕w◕
Being able to flash with an ally in your tummy owo
Being able to flash to an ally to put in your tummy
Being able to flash and instantly get one more quicc stacc to swallow
Being able to input buffer with your
Being able to flash with an ally in you into enemy Nexus (most ideal)
For your secondary, I would usually take , which may not seem ideal, but trust me... most of the time, especially in Iron, you're gonna need it in order to *ahem* "Kill Secure..." if you know what I mean. (• ε •)
If you really want, tho, you can take . It's a good pick, (probably the better) but I prefer because I'm not a beta bi
For your secondary runes,
I would usually take Inspiration , mainly because it allows me to take the money hungry coin emperor super swag meiser tahm kench rune Futures Market If you want to go Coin Emperor TK,you're going to want to take this for the early item advantages and for the pleasure. The rest is all up to you.
I take to make it a lil easier to catch an enemy that has been impaired in movement, either from my or from my carry's slow (if they have one). However, taking the or is not at all a bad choice. It's really based on taste/preference, or maybe even depending on the enemy comp.
Obviously, you would want to take the +10% Attack Speed, +6 Armor, and the Extra Health for extra tankiness.
Another choice for your secondary runes could be for quick and easy tower damage, as well as pressure, and to last a lil longer during fights.
Alternatively, you could also take for the extra damage, which works really well when you're engaging and you're is ready (.❛ ᴗ ❛.)
Your play-style when taking these runes will obviously more aggressive. (Duh)
Even at level 1, the time it takes for you to get your 3 stacks on an enemy will only take about 1.5 seconds, as opposed to a little over 3 seconds w/o . That means you can/could quickly catch people off guard with a quick stun, or when at lvl 2, a . Of course, you will still have to be wary of cc, but if you can avoid it, then you could close the gap and quickly get your 3 stacks, keeping the support/adc (whoever is the priority) from the fight between you and your carry. Remember that you can also cast your [Q] and [E] while you have devoured an enemy. In between trades and fights, you simply want to poke with your whenever you can, and if you're trying to stay as far away from the enemies as possible, you can poke from a range by [Q]+[W] a minion and Regurgitate it. Even though I said that you want to be playing aggressive, that doesn't mean you're going to try to fight every single time. With some champion you'll play against, you'll just keep getting poked down. You want to play aggressive when the opportunity comes, like when the enemy has wasted their cc or main abilities, but some times, you gotta be patient, like when facing against Karma or Lux.
By the time you get near full build, you'll be able to get your 3 stacks in less than a second. When I tested it in practice mode, I got around .75 seconds, or 3/4 of a second. That's pretty wack. In team fights, no one is going to want to be in your belly. With only .75 seconds to react, you can easily take a single member, either a bruiser, adc, or tank, or whoever is a big threat, away from a fight for a little while, but that little while can make the difference in a teamfight. Without Haill of Blades, you'll still be able to get your stacks in REALLY quick, since you'll have some phat AS items. After using your , you'll have 4 seconds until your comes back. Even so, you can still get your 3 stacks on another enemy, or on the same enemy, and STUN their cheeks repeatedly without having to swallow them. Once again, your AS items will still make you quick af, so after some seconds, you'll be able to devour them again.
Something I like to is make use of the HoB pressure by blocking/zoning off some enemies, who are being chased by allies, with your along with someone else and you'll be able to quickly catch a tiger by it's toe in a second or less, where you can Devour them and keep them till your team catches up and have your partner chase the other nibba. This way you can ambush those suckas from behind without consent and ********. At the very least, you'll probably burn a flash, unless you succ pp jk.
Welp. There you go. My very first Tahm Kench "Guide."
I -almost- always take these runes with Tahm Kench, although the build can change, because being able to surprise the enemy with how quick you can them, take a lil taste, and instantly Regurgitate them right behind you is absolutely amazing. It also makes Tahm Kench a more fun champion for me to play.
Ok, I admit, Hail of Blades isn't THAT fast in the early game. The enemy'll probably be able to have time to *** before they get swallowed... unless you're full build of course. That's a totally different situation, and if they try and test you, get ready to UNBENCH THE KENCH... but I'll let you find out how satisfying it is by yourselves.
Aight that's all the time I'm gonna invest into this guide, I still got homework. This may be my only guide I ever make, so I'll try to update it as much as possible. Last but not least, I present you with the following that I found on the web while doing my Literature hw:
Thanks to BRICKYfor introducing me and making me love Tahm Kench with these videos:
Holy **** he looks so goddang cute Im sorry I just had to show this
I hope this doesn't imply that Tahm Kench is fat, because he's not, he's just big boned grrrrr ┌∩┐(ಠ_ಠ)┌∩┐
This image is way too sexy
