1. What's better, Lethality or Crit?

Lethality has a smoother power curve and allows you to use first strike to better efficacy. It snowballs hard and scales pretty well too.

Crit is more of a traditional ADC experience. You're much tankier, though, and you'll be able to sustain through teamfights by using Fleet Footwork. Falling behind on your farm is more punishing, though.

Overall, Lethality is better currently. While Crit is better the more you have, flat AD is strong no matter how much gold or EXP you have.

3. Wait! If LDR is better than IE, why build IE in the first place?

LDR is a wonderful item, sure, but Senna's ability to take down tanks isn't actually dependant on Armor Penetration. If you're really worried about tanks, go Eclipse-Manamune and get a Black Cleaver as a third item, but it's usually not a big deal unless they're super fed. Then, yeah. Go LDR.

4. How do I farm well as an ADC? (9-10 CS/Min)

Farming on ADC honestly isn't a "Where do I go" issue 90% of the time and instead a mindset issue. Think about farming all the time. It's not a secondary thing, it's the thing you're supposed to be doing at all times, like it or not.

But, for some tangible tips instead of the ever vapid and popular "mInDseT!11!!"; Take jungle camps, preferably enemy camps if you can do it safely. Push in waves if they're in the middle of the lane. If your midlaner or toplaner likes to split-push, ask to swap with them since botlane is the most dangerous lane to be in post-14 minutes by far.

Getting 9-10 CS/min isn't actually that difficult in most games. Try to reduce the time you spend walking around aimlessly and there will always be somewhere to farm.

5. I still can't get 9 CS/Min because everyone else is farming/fighting!

9 CS/Min isn't the gold standard! Sometimes 7 or even 6 per minute is better if you're actively contributing to teamfights.

Also, if there's an assassin on the enemy team that's incredibly ***** for you, it might be better to just stick with your team even if you get less farm because even if you aren't dealing damage, you're better alive than dead.

6. How do I teamfight as an ADC?

Golden rule of teamfighting: Back. Up.

I'm serious. Autoattack the person closest to your tank and always be ready to kite. Think about ability uses - if Camille just got Malphite Ulted, but still has her E up, she's probably going to immediately jump on you and you should run. If Talon is over the wall, maybe get the hell away from the wall.

If you're worried about your impact, two things.

1, You're actually dealing MORE damage the longer you stay alive. A Jinx that autos 4 times and then dies is less useful than a Senna that autos 4 times, peaces out, then ults from a safe distance away.

2, Even if you ARE dealing less damage, baiting yourself to the enemy team by staying that far back can win you a teamfight by itself. Everyone wants to get to you, so make it hard for them. An extra second of chasing you is all anyone needs to burst that Zed down. You can't bait people with your life if you don't have one.

7. My support sucks! I can't do anything.

Good. This is where Senna shines. You are your own support. You are your own peel. You are your own sustain. You are your own engage. This is the number one reason to pick senna ADC, above the free crit, above the insane range, above the camo and AoE root and global ult and the ability to build basically whatever the hell you want. It's the independence you gain from all these things combined.

Not only are you going to be your own support, you're going to be your team's support. When a teamfight needs a wombo combo, you're there. When your midlaner needs a top-off and Soraka is dead, you're there. Senna is the ultimate soloQ ADC for this reason. If your support sucks, lean into it.

8. What can I apply from this guide to other ADC's?

1, Baiting yourself in teamfights is an easy way to win games. Also, don't die!

2, Always think about farming. As you get out of base, "Where are the jungle camps and minions?". After a teamfight, "What direction should I start going to take a tower?" "Will my jungler AFK if I take his camps?" "Can I farm Lulu?" (spoiler: yes, you can.)

9. What can I apply from this guide to Senna Support?

1. Low Econ is your best friend. In all honesty, the Lethality builds in this guide can apply to Senna Support too.

2. Teamfighting is the exact same, but instead of going for you, they'll go for your ADC. Try to exhaust them when they do that, and use your Q and Ult to keep them alive.

3. Your E is a lot more important now. It's pretty much a bard portal for the purposes of roaming and jungle ganks. Use it whenever you can.

4. Maybe skip out on Manamune in favor of an Umbral Glaive. Also, take Presence of Mind.


5. Or... you could just be a better ADC than your ADC. This is a **** move in 90% of cases, but you don't have to farm that much and it's worth it if they're... mentally challenged and you won't be able to win the game otherwise.

10. Resolve Secondary? Grasp in 2022? Cull as a generic starter item? Your builds are weird and don't look or feel meta.

Yeah, these builds are oddball. There's things to be said about limit testing and tricking enemies by messing with their sense of how tanky you are, but even so there's a better reason to use all of these weird choices.

They're interchangeable.

There are some champions that you can run literally anything on. Ezreal can build almost any item or rune and still be (somewhat) viable. Bard can do whatever the **** he wants from AP burst to ADC to tank. Senna is no different.

You can change things out depending on the game. You think me using IE by default is stupid and that LDR is better 100% of the time? You want to rush a mortal reminder to counter Soraka? You think that Triforce Senna is the way of the future? Go for it! Who knows, maybe you'll find something you actually really like.
