Threats & Synergies
This match up is mostly skill based. I've won numerous times against Aatrox and also lost just as much. Most often the Aatrox will try to harass you with his q and as soon as his Q goes on cd, you jump and trade with him. Dodging his Qs is vital in winning this lane as not only it damages you, it also heals him. His first Q can be dodged by walking sideways, his second Q can be dodged by away from him. He will most likely use his E (dash) with his SECOND Q so what I do is Q immediately to Aatrox to not get hit by the outer Q range and STAY INSIDE HIM as he will prepare his third Q which is IN FRONT OF HIM, dodging his 3rd Q. You should be able to win trades like that.
This matchup is very snowbally as you will either dominate or get dominated. In this matchup the only time where you should engage is when your in melee range of darius as you when you pop out your E, he will use his pull to try to cancel out your E but you must quickly jump on him before your E expires and get a auto + W in and walk away. If you're fed enough then feel free to just keep jumping on him but be aware of how many stacks he has on you as you most likely won't be able to beat him if he has 5 stacks on you.
You should be able to kill her pretty easily as your stats and base damage should be higher than hers. Always use your E before she autos to prevent her passive from procing. She will try to cancel your E by using her E but this is one of the few matchups where you have to release your E as soon as she E as it cancels her dash out. If she manages to stun you and you still have time then quickly Q to her, auto + W and walk away.
Skill matchup favoring you after you get grevious wounds. It's basically whoever gets stun loses the trade. Try to mix and match your E duration to confuse her. When she ults you, stick by a wall so it's hard for her to proc her 4 vitals.
This match up is super annoying if the GP knows what hes doing. A smart GP will sit under his barrel and immediately when you engage he will explode the barrel and just walk away. The only way to win this match up is capitalizing on his mistakes such as jumping on him if hes not under a barrel or near one. Ask your jungler for help as if you get a bit ahead you should be able to fight him. RUSH SHEEN then phage as the sheen damage will help you trade with him.
Cho is one of those champions where you have to suppress him or he will get annoying to kill. After a trade he will most likely heal some back from his passive thats why you have to always be engaging and zoning him off. dodging his Q is essential to winning this lane. Keep in mind his 6 will do atleast 300 so don't go in if you think you can't kill him without falling that low in hp.
Jayce is probably one of your hardest matchups. When you jump in, he will switch to hammer form and knock you away and burst you while you're walking away. Build armor and health and ask your jungler for assistance. Your best bet is roaming and forcing a teamfight at a objective so you won't be the main target for jayce.
Difficult matchup but can be handled. Vlad will pool if you jump on him so what I do is let him push towards my tower and I jump on him without using my E. He will not pool unless he is about to die so I save my E until he pools and stun him and hopefully kill him. This tactic will not work if you're behind as you will just lose the trade and die. If you're behind then just ask your jungler and help. Only get a null magic mantle as you can't afford to spend too much money that doesn't help you powerspike.
Although Riven does not deserve to be extremely difficult to lane against. Everyone has a champion they absolutely despise and Riven is the one I hate. A good riven will utilize her Q cooldown to where it is almost always up and when you try to jump on her, she can either q away, w you then walk away, or e away. I ban her every game
I can't really name synergies with Jax but sejuani is such a good jungler for jax. Jax's auto cancel just stacks up sejuani's E so well and a good sejuani will use her E after your stun and it literally makes the enemy immobile. On top of that if needed her can use her ultimate for another CC.
