Hello and welcome to my Jax guide, I have decided to make a Jax guide because I really enjoy playing this champion and I think it requires a lot of skill to master him or do well with him. He is my main champion and I have been playing him since I started playing league.

This is my first guide so I will try my best to make it good and if you have anything to add to it then please let me know and let me know what you think of my guide.

Pros:

+ Good Sustained Damage
+ Can duel most other champions
+ Good escape and gap closing
+ Huge late game
+ Great split pusher
+ He owns everyone with a lamppost


Cons:

- Weak very early game
- Very mana reliant
- Needs 1-2 items to be powerful
- Hard at taking down extreme tanks
- Easily harassed
- Stun is only 1 second long and doesn't increase

Always take flash, it could help you in chasing down an enemy or escaping an enemy, it could help get you kills or help you escaping death

This is a good spell to have if you want to try to get kills in bot lane and it is even a good spell for escaping enemies if you're trapped and need to escape. It is a nice spell to use for capturing kills in other lanes or for getting someone quick to save someone

This is a spell that you would use to secure kills, you would take this if you are against a champion that has a good escape or that has health regen, make sure you calculate it so that you secure the kill and not waste it

These are the spells that you will most likely use in any type of game but other spells that you can use are Exhaust Exhaust is a spell that could help you early game but by late game you can easily use Blade of the Ruined King or Randuin's Omen this is why i would not recommend it as it is useless mid-late game

Ghost is another spell that you can use for closing a long distance in a short period of time, it is a good spell on Jax as you can close down a distance to use your Leap Strike this is not a spell that would be used frequently but it can help by escaping or even securing kills, it is not that good for escaping as it takes time to get maximum speed but can still be useful for other things

You always want to max your Empower W first just for the damage, you will then want to max your Leap Strike Q second as your Counter Strike E only reduces the cooldown for it so it would be better to max Leap Strike Q second.
