Hello Every one, thank you for taking time out of your day to read this guide. Rengar has a lot of burst, and can be played top and jungle. However i personally prefer him top. His q allow's him to take towers very fast. He has good gap closing and a slow/snare.

Pro's -lots of burst -has a good gap closer -has a heal -7 seconds of invisibility -can delete the enemy adc from the game (for about 40 seconds)

Con's -kitable -can be shut down early game -cant do much if focused in teamfights pink wards deny him of his ult

I am bad and i use full AD runes, no armor or magic resist. However the runes i listed above are better because they give you resistances and life steal. You can swap the lifesteal quint for armor pen. or more AD. I might also swap the magic resist glyphs because i would most likely build a spirit visage or a maw of malmortuis for magic resist.

The masteries I listed above are good for AD Rengar. If you are going tank Rengar, you should use 9/21/0 masteries.

I prefer to max rengar's q first as it gives more burst and attack speed. I know some people like to max e first because it gives you lots of poke and a bit of a easier lane. Your q also gives you more wave clear and helps you take towers faster. And helps you win trades in lane, and allows you to life steal faster. A good combo with rengar is to jump them when they get close to a bush then e then q then w if you cant kill them get out of vision then ult, get to 5 furry and jump on them again q then e then w then ignite them. That will work 99% of the time.

In team fights, do not go in right away, As you will get bursted down. Instead ult in a few seconds after the fight has started. Jump on the ADC or the APC then kill the rest of their team. Be carfull for something like ezreal's or vayne's e as that will ruin your combo.

The bonetooth necklass Bonetooth Necklace is a unique item for rengar, it gives him stats the more stacks he has on it. You get stacks from getting a kill or assist. You generally want to buy it at level 7 or so. However you should only buy it if you are ahead and know you can stack it. if you are behind or not able to get many stack on it you should instead buy a sunfire cape or a spirit visage.

Rengar's ultimate is Thrill of the hunt makes rengar go invisible and he generates ferocity while stealthed. This should not be used as a escape tool. As normally you become invisble after 1 second, however if you take damage it becomes 3 seconds.
You will generally die before going invisible if it is a 2v1 or 3v1 or 4v1 and end you end up wasting your ult. Which in the lower levels has a very long cool down.
