Hello, I'm an absolutely random EUNE gold Ekko one-trick trying to climb to plat fast with about a 70% winrate with my champion that decided I'm fit for making a basic Ekko guide. My main motivation for making this guide was seeing Ekko players going Lich Bane second item in jungle, which is just completely not optimal.

If you're confident on Ekko and that you'll get a lead, go Dark Harvest. If not, Electrocute is best.
Sudden Impact gives you extra damage from your E and R.
Eyeball Collection for the extra damage.
Ravenous Hunter to heal off of taking camps.
Magical Footwear for free boots and Cosmic Insight to have a shorter cooldown on your Hextech Rocketbelt.
I like taking attack speed to boost my clear.

STARTING ITEMS

You want to be going Hailblade start basically every game, because it greatly increases your chase and gank potential and allows you to get into E2 range of the enemy using the slow, as it's range is slightly larger than Ekko's E2 radius.
Start recalling in pixel brush at about 1 minute and place a Stealth Ward there right as the recall is about to finish, that way you can buy an Oracle Lens and get back to your jungle in time.
Always buy a Control Ward when you can.

CORE ITEMS

You always want to rush Hextech Rocketbelt first item every game, as it is by far the best item on Ekko. It greatly increases gank, chase and one-shot potential.
Sorcerer's Shoes are the best purchase just about every game, but you can also go Mercury's Treads if the enemy team has very high amounts of cc.
Build Oblivion Orb if the enemy has a lot of healing (so basically every game), but don't finish it into Morellonomicon yet.
Nashor's Tooth is the best second item on Ekko Jungle. It overshadows Lich Bane by far, as it boosts your jungle clear beyond infinity and still allows you to one-shot squishies with ease, plus it's way more effective at killing tankier opponents.

SITUATIONAL

You usually want to go either Rabadon's Deathcap third item if the enemy team isn't building MR or Void Staff if they are.
I usually don't like to build Zhonya's Hourglass on Ekko, unless I'm behind and the enemy team has double AD mid jungle with high burst (e.g Zed and Kha'Zix).
Banshee's Veil is basically the same as Zhonya's but against AP.
If you bought an Oblivion Orb early game, finish it to Morellonomicon as your last item.

Jungle clear is pretty straightforward, you usually want to start where your bot lane is for a better leash and then full clear.

So it's either:

Red - Krugs - Raptors - Wolves - Blue - Gromp
/or/
Blue - Gromp - Wolves - Raptors - Red - Krugs

You can hold off on taking your last camp and go to Scuttle if you know you clear faster so you can take it without fighting for it. In a lot of matchups where you know you don't win early on, it's better to just give the crab rather than to coinflip for it, you usually won't win.

So yeah, that's basically it so far, this is my first Mobafire guide and it's not that detailed so far, but I'll definitely come back to it to make it into a fully fleshed out guide. Probably when I get to plat. >:)
