He outscales you and outdamages you in later stages, while also being a massive bully in lane. If you find yourself in this matchup, either dodge it or sit under turret, farm and roam.
Aatrox
Pretty annoying level 1, you cannot out-trade him with his Q up. Use level 2 poke with E+Q and then back off, or focus on CS and roam.
Garen
Farm lane, he outdamages you early and can sustain through your BS pretty easily. You don't want to fight this matchup but if you have to, focus on CS and roaming and try not to die. Keep in mind you can win with jungle attention pre-6, so don't let that slide away.
Camille
If she's good, she won't get hit by Q at all. Try to predict her Q and start charging Q as soon as you think she will do it, interrupt her mid-air. You're good.
She's a bruiser which means she outscales, plus she has true damage. So try to end the game early or YOU WILL LOSE.
Cho'Gath
He wins post-6, but if you can zone him you can destroy him. Then you start roaming and winning other lanes. It's a farm lane.
Cassiopeia
AVOID HER PRE-6.
She WILL kite you, and outdamage you. If she's running ignite she will win anything even post-6. Your best bet is to land an E slow into an all-in with R, don't get stunned by her R, then go for a 1 for 1 kill trade. You out-midgame her to an extent so just focus on your CS and roaming.
Dr. Mundo
I won't argue this here, he does damage while being tanky. Has spam-poke, has sustain, and is dangerous at all stages of the game. Avoid fighting him and try to farm. He doesn't have any real kill potential in lane if you dodge his Q.
Fiora
People actually don't understand how easy it is to fight Fiora as Sion, Just play the E+Q game from range. If she goes for a fight just disengage then re-engage once her W is down.
Also, when you are charging Q, let it fully charge against her post level 3 as she will try to parry it mid-charge, which will guarantee you a full damage Q.
Gnar
Annoying farm lane for you, kill lane for him. Try to farm and roam.
Heimerdinger
Post level 6 you win any and all trades as long as you E his ulted turret away and/or dodge his stun. Play around E max 2nd cause it's mandatory in this matchup. You will outpush and outroam him post 6.
Illaoi
Annoying lane, dodge her Q/E at all costs, she's easy to kite around and you can use your CC combo on her in teamfights to nullify her completely. As long as you survive the early game, you win.
Irelia
Skill matchup, iffy depending on the playstyle. Never Q into her W unless she's mid-charge, which means you will land a Q AFTER her W ends.
Avoid trades post 6, you bully her pre 6 though. Use R to roam and try to outCS her, watch out for junglers because they like to gank for Irelia
Jax
AIDS lategame.
If you snowball off of him early, abandonship and start going to other lanes and snowballing them. Once he has two items it's gameover as he can simply 1v3 everyone and I mean everyone.
YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE GAME EARLY.
Jayce
Generally annoying poke. If you dodge his Qs you should be fine, don't use your Q unless his E is down. Wait for jungler and let him shove you in. Then start roaming post 6
Karthus
Just don't die pre 6. And you will win this matchup hard as you can get on top of him easily. Also don't Q for CS when he's close because he'll do like 240+ damage to you level 2.
Kayle
Like Jax, she's a 2-item powerspike who can 1v3 easily. BUT, she is easier to fight earlygame so capitalize on that. Shove her in and avoid trading when she Q's you as she will either orb-walk or kite you depending on your movement.
Post-6 is still killable as you can bait out her R with a minimum charge Q
Kennen
This is a heavy skill matchup.
If he tries to fight you pre-6 and you manage to make him get in range of your E, turn on him and half-HP him.
Repeat this and you can flash auto Q ignite him level 3.
Post-6 you have to use your R before his or you lose the trade. Try to use it when he uses his W to waveclear.
Kled
If you can dismount him and then freeze the lane it's gameover for him. Don't fight after dismount unless you have 6, as he can turn fights pretty damn easily.
Lissandra
She buys zhonyas and has a free zhonyas in her R.
Don't fight her pre or post 6. Just farm and roam
Malphite
As long as he is not playing max W you should be okay. His constant poke is not a big deal given that you return the favour with E+Q everytime. As he cannot just poke and R you since you can just kill him after you die.
Maokai
Farm lane, he outscales. ROAM. ROAM. ROAAAAM.
Mordekaiser
Just don't fight him. He has no CC and no means of catching you. Let him shove you in and start farming then roaming later on. He can turn fights like it's nobody's business so once you see him picked just get it in your mind that you will 100% dive backline very fight as he cannot peel for them or engage on yours.
Nasus
Can be a major threat if you reach 30+ mins. But b4 that you can destroy him in lane. Just don't get too cocky as his jungle assistance is powerful with a targeted OP slow.
Anyways, just spam him in lane, shove him under turret and go for a Q that covers any minion he tries to stack on.
Nautilus
Hard to kill in lane, but he can kill you.
Go for short trades only when his W is down and then back off. Farm, and roam.
Olaf
He can run through you like it's nobody's business. Just ban him or swap with midlaner lmao.
On the real though, you want to fight him level 3 till 6, but post 6 or pre 3 you do not wanna fight him. Just keep doing short trades with E+Q where he cannot retaliate and then dodge his axes. He runs outta mana easy so if he doesn't have W up and has like 70 mana, RUN HIM DOWN.
Pantheon
I'm not sure what's worse. A melee toplaner who relies on poke before engage, or a melee toplaner who literally puts himself in a situation to get a full charged Q by Sion.
Poppy
You can destroy her pre 7. But after 7 her shield CD decreases meaning that you cannot outdamage her Q spam. Just start roaming at that point and before that just shove her in.
Quinn
Look, if you do not out-XP her you will lose, you cannot out-roam so just prepare to play splitpush suicide Sion at that point. And don't trade with her if her Q is up. If you manage to bait an E out of her at max range retaliate with E+Q then run her down. Post 6 if she's in lane she's dead. As soon as she starts E press R and run her down.
Renekton
Massive lane bully, just farm and roam. Don't let him fight you, and sit a little further from minions when he has rage up because he can E+Q+E and take like 20% of your HP with just two abilities.
Riven
She can get out of your Q easily. So just use your Q after she uses her dashes. You can win this matchup HARD if you manage to roam and comeback to lane fast. Jungle attention on her can destroy her so keep that in mind.
Ryze
You can run him down easily. Just wait for him to go OOM pre-4 and then start spamming his ***. he cannot out-damage you with ur shield and cannot survive your damage with his. As long as you farm properly and then start roaming when the time is right, you can destroy him at all stages of the game.
Rumble
He can kill you, but you can't kill him.
Having said that, though. If you play safe and never let him kill you, you can just sit back, farm, and roam.
You can win all mid-game fights given that you engage on his backline because he can't block you or peel for them.
Singed
If he takes aery+ignite, fight him post 3 and never chase. Just go for short trades and then back off. Let him shove you and you can outscale hard.
Post 6 is hard for you to deal with to begin with so just roam.
Shen
The funny part about Shen is that he's the only tank who you can still beat later on.
Get mercs and you've already won lane.
Swain
Farm lane. Get an exe's
Sylas
I don't have much experience with fighting him so just get an exe's and make sure you only go for trades when he engages on you.
Also since you ARE the Sion, you should know how to dodge him when he ults you with ur ult
Teemo
Easiest. Rundown. Lane. Ever.
Just don't die pre-2 and you can start being a cuck to him.
Trundle
He out-heals most of your damage, so just focus on CS and don't fight him without jung. When he ults you just run away and then re-engage when his frostfield is down.
Tryndamere
He outscales you but cannot peel for backline. Holds similar to matchups like Morde. Fight pre-6 and then roam. He cannot stop you and you can stop his splitpush by merely clearing the wave and then leaving.
Urgot
One of the harder matchups who has kill-pressure. If you can dodge his E and Q you win this hard, otherwise you easy lose.
Vayne
Dodge.
Vladimir
Get an exes and roam.
Volibear
Literally the same idea to Mundo except he can defend carries.
Wukong
He wants to one-shot you, but you'll one-shot him. Bush strats all the way.
Yasuo
If he uses his E on you, you can E+Q him. You win any fights post 6 as long as you either ult or dodge his tornado.
Yorick
He outheals your damage. Just roam.
Annie
She has CC to setup your engage or follow up on it. Ideal for mid-game fights, also she can help you when either of you roam for eachother
Aurelion Sol
His R sets up your Q/R as it groups the enemies together and stuns them. Make sure to let him ult before you use yours.
Amumu
Nice teamfighters, decent ganks.
Ashe
Great followup on your engage
Brand
He deals a ****ton of magic damage while also being a little safe. If you can engage for him it's gameover for the enemy team.
Braum
Endless CC chain. He ults, then you ult, he Qs, then you Q, then both of you auto.
Cho'Gath
Good setup for your engage.

Why is it AD instead of tank?
AD can carry, tank can't.
The general idea of this build is for you to carry yourself out of low elo. That's pretty much it.
Pros and Cons
Pros
You get health regardless as long as you farm
You're an unexpected lane-bully
You can and will one-shot backlines.
Objective control is high as you can engage fights from downtown.
Cons
You are easy to kite even with R
Falls off later on.
Has to rely on suicide for lategame
Requires a good amount of prediction play to play properly
