Greater Glyph of Ability Power Early game ap? Sure, why not but where is CDR? That's why Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction Can help you alot with Malefic Visions + Nether Graspbut if you feel like earlygame cdr is not that useful, test Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction.

Greater Quintessence of Health This is my have o get quin, helps alot earlygame, you don't die so quick... + with Doran's Ring kinda nice hp in earlygame. You can also think about Greater Quintessence of Scaling Ability Power or Greater Quintessence of Ability Power.

Taking 9/0/21, like usually with caster. Ok, lets thee the point of here, you take Greed instead one point of Good Hands ? Ok, EXTRA gold in every 10 secs, must have, FREE GOLD FREE GOLD.

Soo, let's talk about my items.

Start with dorans ring Nice hp + manareg + 15ap. Ok, very very nice but you can thinkabout getting Sapphire Crystal + 2[Health Potions]] to upgrade faster catalys't the protector if you are getting Greater Quintessence of Health.

Now lets go with Boots, ok get these, you'll be dead if you don't get boots kinda early. If you are like vs Annie and some jungler Gangplank is there, you are dead without boots.

Next item is Mejai's soulstealer, so so so so nice item with malza, malza just nukes midline and 2 stacks already, but if you feel that need mejai's little bit earlier, start with Amplifying Tome. Mejai's with 20 stacks, extra 160 ap + 15% CDR, must have, right?

Now upgrade your catalyst the protector to Rod of Ages or, get little early upgrade boots, whatever. Why RoA? Ok, lets see, nice extra hp, mana + ap, not bad.

Go to Boots > Sorcere's Shoes. If enemy has high cc? Mercury's Treads. If not want to merc treads? You can always catalyst the protector > Banshee's Veil

Now rush Rabadon's Deathcap You have already enough mana to spam your spells with kinda nice manareg. +140 ap, hey yea!

Rylai's Crystal Scepter MUST HAVE, nice to Malefic Visions + AoE Null Zone Why not? :)

Now lets see the final item, It can be Abyssal Mask but you can always try to go with Zhonya's Hourglass / Thornmail / Guardian Angel.

What about Ionian Boots of Lucidity? Hm, cdr is nice with Mejai's Soulstealer but nty, already have Sorcerer's Shoes

Mobility Boots? Eh eh, move around the map, sure, why not? Yep.

Ninja Tabi? If vs is Pantheon in mid.

Passive :: Summon Voidling, malzahar summons voidling when 4 spells casts. Simple, and voidling is 21 seconds with you.

Call of the Void (Q)

Silence, this saved me many many times, + high dmg. This is the main harass skill if the enemy wants to run out of ur Malefic Visions range.

Null Zone (W) AoE skill, great way to nuke people up with this, extra dmg.... ofc? You can nuke without this if enemy is low enought but always cast Null Zone if you are not to sure about nuke.

Malefic Visions (E)

Like a ignite, nice combo. Ignite + Malefic Visions is like Vladimir's Hemoplague + Ignite, but Malefic Visions deals every second some magic damage. Farming skill, use it on low minions + attack them who has this on. Restores some mana back if malzahar kills the target.

Nether Grasp (R)

SUPPPPPPPPPPPPP GUYS, when you get this ''stun'' you can try to nuke, > Null Zone > Malefic Visions > Nether Grasp. Not dead yet? Call of the Void This spell can save people, save yourself, can kill an enemy but this is channeled spell, so you can errupt this skill with fears, silences ect.

Ignite must have spell, great combo with Malefic Visions.

Ghost for chasing / escaping. Nice spell, malza is kinda slow. ^^

Flash flash over walls!! escaping + chasing, gogogogog + earlygame + lategame nukers. Flash > Nether Grasp and now your team can catch up.

OTHER RECOMMENDED mapcontrol, back to lane fast, nice spell.
