The best choice for Mordekaiser. This spell will seal the deal when our normal skills won't quite kill that pesky opponent. We will also be popping it on the ADC every teamfight.

An excellent spell for Mordekaiser, this well help us dodge those skillshots or get out of a bad situation in the blink of an eye!

This can be useful for Mordekaiser as a form off CC for him. He is easily kited, this would change that.

An underrated spell, this is more effective than flash in the long run, but not nearlly as cool. This will combat our natural slowness and allow us to move around the map faster.

This spell can help you get back to lane much faster, or get you to that ward in your bot lane bush for the gank of a lifetime.

Spirit of the Spectral Wraith
Such an item of controversy for Mordekaiser, this item gives him stats he needs
and stats that are completely useless too him. The spellvamp is what this build centralizes and the CDR reduction is very helpful. The AP certainly helps as well.
Our main reason for building this though is for the price. We need to get strong quickly and this item allows us to do just that!

Hextech Gunblade
We make use of every single stat in this item. The Spellvamp is obviously needed, and so is the healthy boost of AP and AD. The important thing to remember about this item though is the active it gives us. Mordekaiser doesn't have any built in CC so we build this to solve that problem!

Abyssal Mask
All of our fights as Mordekaiser will be up close and personal. This allows us to make use of this items Resistance lowering capabilities and ultimately benefiting the entire team! The AP and Magic Resist are very helpful too!

Warmog's Armor
What is sustain without any HP to sustain? With all the Spellvamp we have been accumulating we will need some HP to recover! This gives us just that plus a boost to our general HP recovery!

Randuin's Omen
A boost of Armor and HP? Sounds like a perfect item for Mordekaiser! Those aren't the only reasons though! This item is absolutely critical for us because our biggest weakness and our biggest target is the ADC. This item effectively weakens that target on top of defending us from them.

Sunfire Aegis
A cordial amount of Armor and HP with a passive that damages all enemies in our vicinity? Sounds like a fantastic item for Mordekaiser! I would build this against heavier AD teams instead of a Warmog's Armor.

Spirit Visage
This item will give us HP, CDR, and Magic Resist while making our sustain 20% more effective. These are all effective stats for Mordekaiser but should only be taken into consideration in the case of a very heavy AP oriented team.

Step 1: Farm your lane
This means get every bit of CS you can out of your lane before teamfights start. The more gold the better, you need everything you can get!

Step 2: Win your lane
This can be judged by destroying the first turret in your lane, or simply killing you opponent multiple times. Either way you have won and can move on to the next step.

Step 3: Roam
You've won your lane, but your friendlies haven't! Get out there and gank and push until everyone else has won their lane as well! Help take objectives and counter jungle when applicable as always.

Step 4: Teamfights?
If teamfights are imminent you must prepare yourself mentally and physically. Stretch your fingers, crack your back, and plan who you will attack! Your target should be their AP and AD carries. Try and hit as many champions as possible with your AOE while ultimately focusing the squishies. This will maximize your sustain whilst still carrying out your job!
