Her cost is: 3150BE or 1575BE when on sale

She used to be played on mid lane as a Burst-Assassin/Mage

She was moved to top lane by metas

Her main class is: HyperCarry, Assassin & Slayer

Her subclasses are: Bruiser, Diver, Burst Mage, Unique.

Introduction: Why Akali?

Why should you play Akali? Well, she have dmg to take downs in less than 1 seconds an ADC with no resistances, she's a great soloQ carry, and she's the best champion in the game to take advantage on enemy mistakes such as misspositioning or CD's, for example this Riven didn't knew that she had to keep her cc abilities cd up against Akali, she did a mistake and I imediatly took advantage over it:

Summoner spells

Your must pick spell is: Flash. Is the most picked spell by everyone in the game, and also helps Akali with some combos/escapes and doing plays too!

Secondary spells are: Ignite Teleport Smite Exhaust Cleanse Heal

My most played spells in season 7 in this order are: Flash+ Ignite/ Smite/ Teleport

In general pick Ignite to secure kills or Teleport to do plays

Exhaust is more for mid-lane Akali against champs like: Zed Talon Katarina and cleanse is mostly against champs like: Ahri & Lissandra. Keep in mind that these spells are NOT must pick against these cahmpions!

When playing with the Kleptomancy Rune-page Teleport is a must have tho.

Heal is when you know that you gotta save your jungler when ganking. I saved many junglers that went for kills and almost got killed when i got Akali mid.

Akali's secret passive

Akali loses 1 HP point for every ninja in her team, the passive is called: "Ninjas work alone". Is not the best debuff since she can lose up to max 3HP if Kennen Zed & Shen are in her team, but I still remember that Kayle that got away with only 1 HP point from my ignite...

Akali's abilities

Twin Disciplines is her passive's name. Is really simple, you heal on the first atack and you deal dmg on your second every X seconds.

Mark of the Assassin is her Q. It have 2 activables. First you dmg & mark a target for 6 seconds. The cooldown is also 6 seconds so you can keep 1 enemy permanently marked. The second activable is when you atack the guy, you consume the mark dealing bonus dmg. Both activables have AP scalings and is usually your first ability to max.

Twilight Shroud. Her W, the most important tool you have untill you hit lvl 6. You use this ability to mark an area for 8 seconds, and every time you enter in it you gain Invisibility. Invisibility means that only the vision plant and some champion abilities that grants true sight can see you. On short: It means that most of the times you won't be caught in your W. This ability is important because you have to use it to trade in early levels with your enemy with it by kiting him and getting an advantage.

Crescent Slash: Her E. The only tool Akali have to clear waves. Keep in mind that the ability cooldown is reduced by 50% if it kills a unit: Units are minions/jungle camps/champions & creatures spawned by champions.

Shadow Dance Akali's Ult. At level 6 Akali gains 3 dashes that can be used on enemy units. Akali dashes BEHIND an enemy unit. The scaling is 25%AP.

Runes: Electrocute

This is my classic Top-lane Akali Electrocute page. I love this page because it helps me with poke. Scorch+ Absolute Focus helps me trading safe, lets say Shen. Against him you lose trades because of his tanky nature and his Q damage, but Scorch deals bonus magic dmg after 1 second, and Absolute Focus is increasing my Q dmg when i'm full HP, that means safe trades. Ofcourse this is a bad example because i always take Kleptomancy against Shen and tanky champions. This page is more against champions like Quinn, Yasuo, Tryndamere, Jax, Teemo, Vladimir and others. The champions that can poke without taking dmg. An ALL-IN page against squishy champions.

Runes: Grasp of the undying

An unusual pick, right? But is a great pick against champions like Jayce Renekton Pantheon where you only have to survive. I also have Demolish on this page so when he leaves the lane i can come back in tower dmg. My build on this page will be with these items: Hextech Gunblade Ninja Tabi Zhonya's Hourglass Liandry's Torment Rylai's Crystal Scepter and some more HP items such as Spirit Visage. My job against these guys is again: SURVIVING , in team fights is tanking dmg for my team also dealing as much dmg as possible.

Runes: Kleptomancy 1

And now we're on my favourite page with my favourite rune: Kleptomancy

I just love this rune! You get ahead so fast and you also get so much gold from it, it's crazy! The starting items when i go for this rune are always: 1x Spellthief's Edge 1x Stealth Ward & 3x Health Potion. I take this page against big threats like: Maokai Galio Illaoi and many other tank champions that you can't kill but you still have to get something out of the trades. Runes: Kleptomancy 2

As you can see I selected Future's Market! Let me explain you why: It's because when you are in the Blue-side you can steal the enemy red buff and get an sweet advantage for no cost: the starting item, 1 Control Ward & 5 Health potions. I tested it out only with Doran's Blade, Spellthief's Edge & Dark Seal to confirm that it works:

Pros & Cons

Pros:

Viable in any meta

DMG Type: Hybrid (can build AD too)

Champion type: Hyper Carry (boost your soloQ)

She's an Assassin: that means she take down (one shots) squishy targets in seconds, even less than 1 second

Her base combo is one of the easiest in the game, and can be combined with other combos (Q+AA)

In lane she have sustain because of the number of potions you can start with, and also because of her passive (1st strike: Heals her)

Good counter for champions that tilt you when you play soloQ: Yasuo

Actually she have no counters if played very good.

Very mobile champion because of her W: Twilight Shroud & R: Shadow Dance

Cons:

Very vulnerable to CC, Vision & AOE-DMG: Exhaust/ Charm/ Enchanted Crystal Arrow/ Pyromania/ Chum the Waters/ Destiny/ Yordle Snap Trap/ Slicing Maelstrom

Useless when behind

Easy to take down when no charges on her R, or when she doesn't have her W pre-6

Players can take advantage on you afetr you use your passive to farm (Your passive have a cooldown)
