Runes

Armor pen marks - Armor pen makes you hit hard, and jungle fast!
Armor Seals - Armor makes them hit you not so hard, and jungle fast!
CDR Glyph - CDR makes your attacks more spam able, let's you gank better, and jungle fast!
Armor pen Quints - Armor pen makes you hit hard, and jungle fast!

See the pattern here?
Yea, It's basicly jungle runes. With CDR instead of AS Since I think Nocturnes passive gives enough AS as it is. If you want more, Get it from items. You don't buy any CDR items as Nocturne other then the Ghost blade, So you won't hit the 40% cap.

Masteries

Basic jungle masteries with Improved smite and increased minion damage in Offence and more EXP and more durable buffs in Utility. Not much to say here. If laining instead of jungleing you should of course not use these Masteries. Then I would suggest going 21/9/0 with Dodge and Nimbleness and build Ninja Tabi.

Summoner Spells

So, Since this is a jungle guide Smite is a must. You can and will not jungle without it. If you ever forgot picking it you should go lane instead. There are lot's of viable choices here. I've painted up a picture for you in paint!

So the once with a read circle on it is obviously not viable for you as Nocturne.

So, Exhaust - As nocturne you do not have a slow, and If you are phasing lot's of fast enemies, this might be a viable pick for you! So that you can slow then to make sure your fear lands.

Ghost - More Movement speed, Nocturne approves. He is already a very fast champion, with ghost. They will not escape.

Teleport Not my Favorite, but I've seen lot's of people doing well with it. I would pick almost any other viable summoner spell over this. Well maybe not Cleanse since I only use it when the other team got 3 or more stuns.

Ignite If you are not level 30 yet, You should probably go this, since you don't got full runes or masteries yet. Otherwise Nocturne already have to much damage.

Flash - Flash is flash. You know, It's awesome.

Conclusion. I still recommend Ghost While jungeling since It's such a nice spell for both ganking and escaping ganks.

Items

Basic jungle starting items. Cloth Armor + Five potions. you are gonna use all your potions on your first run.

Upgrade the armor to a Madred's Razors and buy some more potions. Next you wanna get the Boots. And the Wriggle's Lantern. You Should get either the Berserker's Greaves, if the other team don't have much CC. If they do, Get Mercury's Treads. If you are doing lane Nocturne with defense masteries get Ninja Tabi as I said before. After the boots I usually rush a Youmuu's Ghostblade for epic damage, how ever If the enemy team got so much stuns that you had to buy Mercury's Threads, I would suggest just getting a The Brutalizer and then go directly to Banshee's Veil. After Both Youmuu's Ghostblade and Banshee's Veil go for Sheen then Trinity Force.

So, Discussion.

Cloth Armor vs Long Sword
So, Why not pick Long Sword? Won't the damage is gives make you jungle faster? Sure it would, If you had someone to first hit every single pack of creeps you are supposed to kill. So that you will take minimum damage that way. But if you are going to solo jungle, Which you probably will, I would suggest using the Cloth Armor to be able to sustain in the jungle until you get 800 gold. ( This is shown in the last part of the guide)

Berserker's Greaves VS Mercury's Treads VS Ninja Tabi
All of these are good picks for Nocturne, But we can easily reduce the amount of possibilies with 1 simple question.

DO YOU JUNGLE MOTHER FCKR?!

If you don't, never ever pick Ninja Tabi. they are not fit for you if you jungle. Only if you Lane and the other team got some nasty auto hitter I would only ever consider these.
So that leavs it to the Berserker's Greaves and the Mercury's Treads. If the other team got less then 3 stuns, get Beserker's. And that's about that.

Note: More item discussion will be added later!

Team Work/ Paranoia

How do you work with your team? When do you use Paranoia? This is all very difficult while playing Nocturne. There are several ways to use Paranoia. Or well, I can think of three. Offensively, Defensively and While your team is doing map objectives.

so,
Offensively

This one is kinda self explained, you use it to gank/Chase do damage to the enemy team. Remember, always think through what kind of target you charge in to. Never ever charge someone that you are sure you can not 1v1.
Champions you should charge cuz they destory your team is, Veigar, Ashe, Miss Fortune, Teemo, Annie, Akali, Anivia, Caitlyn, Heimerdinger, Karthus, Kog'Maw, Soraka, Twitch, Kennen, Zilean, Twisted Fate, Urgot, Malzahar, Sivir, Sona, Master Yi and so on. I should probably do a Tier list of these champions, But they are all important to kill.

Champions you should not jump on is people who can jump, like:
LeBlanc, Tristana, Ezreal, Kassadin, Corki How ever, This is very important. All these can kill your team very fast, So If they've already used their jumps, CHARGE THE **** OUT OF THEM!

Other champions you should not jump on is tanky people like, Malphite, Rammus, Dr. Mundo, Shen, Cho'Gath And so on. You know what I'm talking about.

Defensively
When you or your team really needs to run away without getting killed cuz they can see you with wards/Clairvoyance or when you are in range of charging another target just to juke the **** out of that Dr. Mundo Who is going to fck your face up badly. You get the point, When **** is not so cash, you pop Paranoia and it allows you to get away easily.

Map control
When your team is about to do the ******** dragon, But you know that evil Janna put a ward there just seconds ago, You pop your Paranoia and your Soraka with Oracle runs in and your team destroys the ward without the enemy team knowing ****. Since Paranoia blinds wards. They will not see you approach, And after Paranoia ended the ward is dead and so is the dragon.

I will keep updating this part aswell.

Team mate Tier list.

Super Tier -
You want other people with great gank possibilities in your team, they should either have a stun a hard slow or a jump as well as some great burst damage. such as -
Sion, Kassadin, LeBlanc, Malzahar, Akali and Urgot Are my absolute favorite teammates.

Tier 1 -
Anyone with a stun is also a very good friend. since if the target gets stunned, Your fear will land right afterwards and you will hopefully get a kill. Champions that are Tier 1 team members are -
Taric, Amumu, Anivia, Annie, Irelia, Jarvan IV, Pantheon, Rammus, and Renekton.

Tier 2 -
People who can soke up damage for you, (With a shield or with some other strange mojo) or just bait your enemies so they over extend. Champions such as -
Teemo, Shen, Lux, Morgana, Kayle, Galio, Janna, Karma

**** Tier -
People who will make it hard for you to kill your enemies with knock aways, flings and other terrible things.
Janna (Yes she is **** tier as well. If played correctly she could probably be over Tier 2 aswell. But right now she is in both **** and 2.) Gragas, Singed, Blitzcrank and Alistar. All of these if played by pro players is of course very good. But avrage players might just knock your enemies far away from you. Breaking your fear or making it impossible to chase.

NOTE: IF YOUR TEAM CAN PLAY ANY OF THESE CHAMPIONS LIKE A PRO, YOU CAN USE WHAT EVER YOU LIKE WITH NOCTURNE! HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE GREAT COORDINATION STAY AWAY FROM THE **** TIER! THANK YOU!

Final words.

I will keep updating this when I get the time. But for now this should be enough for you. Remember, your an assassin, you are very squishy. Try not to stay in fights to long.
