Ahri

Ahri matchup got a lot better than i remember, even though she is an S+ tier op champ, she is still killable. Go Conq or First Strike with Second wind with Doran Shield (her dmg is ridiculous even in early game). After you hit level 3, try to engage at her. Level six is playable, but more annoying to play against.

Akali

Even threat in early, try to take her down on lvl 2-3. Lvl 6 will be much harder for you, since her dmg output with Perfect Exection is just a nonsense. Go conq or elec depending on the game, but i would recommend going conq anyway.

Anivia

Annie

Play safely. You can look for trades in early. Play around her passive (Stun). If you can't kill her then just roam and try to have high map pressure as possible.

Aurelion Sol

Easy kill in all lvls, all inining and killing him should not be a problem at all.

Azir

Skill matchup. Wait for a mistake or a position where it is risky for him to fight you and then trade with him. You outscale him in mid game and later on.

Cassiopeia

Look for early trades, but if she hits her q, never go in. Your lvl 6 is more stronger than hers. Quick tip: If you E W behind her, quickly turn back against her, and ult. If she decides to ult at you, then she can't stun you, but only slow you. Use this to your advantage, and outplay her at level 6, go in if you are healthy enough.

Corki

Weak early as hell. Go in at level 2-3. His level 6 is nothing against yours, you can go in however you want, but be aware of his poke. Play level one like farmfest, and then go all in at level 2-3 if you are healthy enough to kill him.

Diana

She outduels you perfectly. You can try to kill her pre lvl 6, after that, the matchup gets way harder (Unplayable i would say). Look for roams, 2v2s and 3v3s.

Ekko

Ekko isn't weak, but not even strong in early. Dodge his q's, and be aware of his W. After level 6 the lane becomes much harder. Look for roams after level 6.

Fizz

Fizz hard counters Katarina. Try to kill him pre level 6. Be aware of his E2 (Second E). You must look for skirmishes in this matchup.

Galio

Gangplank

Be aware of his Q poke and E (Barrels). You can look for outtrades.

Garen

Take Scythe, and outscale. Don't even try to outtrade him.

Heimerdinger

Take Dshield, play safe, and wait for outscale. Don't try to outtrade him, he can E Stun you, and it's easy outtrade or maybe a kill for him.

Irelia

Skill matchup. You can try to kill her at level 2-3. Be aware of her E. Fight her/Trade her ONLY if she has not her passive stacked.

Karthus

Easy kill at 2-3 levels. Be careful around his W (Wall) positioning, and Q's and you should be fine.

Kassadin

Try to kill him at early levels (2-3). 6 will be a little bit harder, you have your Death Lotus, but he can simply jump out of it, or just cancel it with his Q. Wait for him to use his Q, then you can ult however you want.

Kayle

Weak early, you can try to kill her pre 6, after that, matchup will get a lot harder.

LeBlanc

Strong in all phases of the game. Play safe early, take Dshield, and scale. You need to roam or look for 2v2/3v3 fights in order to win this matchup.

Lee Sin

Do not fight him at all cost, he outtrades you well, and outsustains you as well. Look for skirmishes, roams.

Lissandra

Lissandra can outpoke you with her Q. She is quite tanky, try to look for quick trades. The lane gets way harder after 6.

Lucian

Take DShield, farm, outscale, look for roams.

Lux

Lux isn't very much of a threat for Katarina, but she can be lethal as well. Try to bait out her Q, and then fight her. Remember, Lux's CD on Q is 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10. Remember that, and you will be fine.

Malzahar

Malzahar is quite annoying. You can outtrade him pretty well, but be aware of his W (Voidlings/Minions he spawns). His combo can be pretty destructive. Also, buy Quicksilver.

Neeko

You can't kill Neeko. If she plays well, you can't mostly kill her. Farm, outscale, maybe look for quick outtrade, skirmishes, roams.

Orianna

Ori is pretty annoying, but it is kinda easy to kill her. Quick outtrades could do trick. Pick Adaptive, Armor, Magic Resist in runes.

Perma ban or dodge. This is my perma ban, i don't really know how to outscale him. Even if you play safe, he can tower dive you, and kill you with his ult. Also, you can try to kill him level 3, if he W's. and Q's you can jump on him, and outtrade. One of the best picks against Katarina i would say.
