Introduction

Alright guys, this is my first guide ever on Teemo, The Swift Scout. My build is all about doing damage as quick as possible, along with doing as much damage as possibe. This is not a health/defenseive guide for Teemo, so make sure that you try to stay untargeted and out of the middle of the fight, and have lots of shrooms ready.

Runes

greater mark of desolation
For my marks I use Greater Mark of Desolation for that great early game super damage hit to help with that First Blood.

With my seals I use flat AP runes to help with the Toxic Shot in the beginning of the game in case the enemy champ gets away with just a sliver of health.

Look at my seals:D

Optional Runes

Greater mark of fortitude, Great rune for giving you that leg up in early game.

Greater mark of warding, Nice to have if your facing a heavy AP user.

greater mark of replenishmentGreater mark of replenishment, Works extremely well once you get to level six to put your shrooms down once you get them without having to worry about your mana.

Greater seal of alacrity, Great extra attack speed to have throughout the game, early on and late game.

Greater seal of fortitude, Same as Greater mark of fortitude.

greater seal of vigorGreater seal of vigor, Great for having to stay in the lane.

Greater glyph of insight, Gives your Poison, Shrooms, and Blinding Shot full damage.

Greater glyph of warding, Gives you a generous amount of MR.

Greater glyph of focus, has your Shrooms cool down reduced, goes great with having Replenishment runes.

Greater quintessence of potency, Gives a great early on start with AP.

Greater quintessence of alacrity, your atteack speed will be great.

Greater quintessence of focus, again nice to have for those Shroom cooldowns, not to mention Blinding shot is nice to have every two seconds along with Lich Bane.

Greater quintessence of fortitude, if you have three, you get lots of health with help of Veteran's Scars, from the masteries.

Greater quintessence of resileince, if you have a lot of MR runes, these would be nice to have to even out your defenses.

Masteries

My masteries are put on 21/9/0 for helping Teemo with his damage output and keeping a little of his defenses up to help with his squishyness, this is very helpful on one on one situations against another squishy person.

Item Builds

As for my items, I like to get lots of attack speed, ability power, and attack damage so he can quickly wither down his opponents health and to power up his poison in case the enemy decides to get away. I like to choose Malady and get The Black Cleaver right after that because of the armor and the magic resistist passives does TREMENDOUS damage to your oppent. I pick Rabadons Deathcap last for the purpose of doing some MAJOR damage with your shrooms. So I suggest strongly that you spread them out for everyone to hit them, with this build you will do around 800 damage with your shrooms, so you are almost sure to get a kill if and enemy runs into one because of the slow and the outstanding damage. A great source of damage and survivability is the BloodThirster so that you can stay in the lane for a good amount of time and to help you in one v. one situations. The Frozen Mallet is also a great source of survivability for an amazing amount of health, and not to mention the passive is pretty nice while chashing someone down. I find that Madreds Bloodrazor also works extremly well with Teemo, seeing that he will do just that more damage to tanks and be just that more effective on the team to victory.

Optional Items

There are a few items that would also go great with Teemo if you have the urge to switch up the build a little bit, these are some ideas of mine.

This is a great item if you are having trouble against any mages or high AP players (Akali, Heimerdinger, Veigar, etc.) and its passive which gives your melee attacks 42% magic damge help as well.

Hextech Gunblade is an amazingly good items for Teemo. It gives him a generous amounts of AP and AD as well as some great life steal and spell vamp for that extra survivability which is so much very important for Teemo, seeing as how squishy he is.

If you are getting desparate and looking for a good AD item, this is it. I usually do not encourage critical strike on Teemo, but if you team is having a tough time and you need some good damage this is a good item to have.

If you are having mana problems and are deciding to go more AP this is the item for you. It gives you a pretty good amount of AP, without the passive which just helps with your mana problems and AP so this item is like a two in one package deal, which everone loves.

I don't have any magic pen. in my runes so this is a great item to have along sometimes if you or facing a tank with a good amount of MR on his side. And even if your not facing a tank with MR, and a squishy happens to hit one of you shrooms? Well then you can say good bye to Bongo if he happens to run into another one, or you decide to catch up to him, or both.

This is great item for survivability. It is extremely well for laning other hybrids and gives you a second chance if you die, it is also really nice if your enemy just beats you by 100-200hp (like those nasty Trynds and their damn ult).

This is one of my other main items that I like for Teemo that I didn't put up at the top. This usually comes into major affect(along with major damage) after you use Blinding Shot and should do a ton of damage so that you send a great message to your enemy that your damage isn't as small as Teemo.

Summoners Spells

Alright, I will put them into groups just so you can get the idea.

GOOD:

Exaust is quite nice with Teemo, since he can already catch up with Move Quick so he can get a ton of damage on them.

Goes EXTREMELY well with Toxic Shot (for those sneaky people who like to get away)

BAD(Not Bad):
Useful for catching up/escaping to/from people.

Same as Flash.

Comes in handy when your about to die and in 1v1 situtations.

Helps you get to where the actions is. Not bad.

Helps early game. Terrible late game.

AND UGLY:

Absolutley not.

Leave this to the tanks/supports.

Same as Clairvoyance.

You are no jungler.

No.

YOUR SHROOMS!

Alright guys, your shrooms are AMAZINGLY AWESOME in this build. If your wondering "where do I place them?" or "do I place them close to each other or far apart?" Well the best way to do it is FAR APART. If you think "well if I place them all together won't they do more damage?".. NO they will not! You want to place close to each other but far enough to it will hit separate people. You may also think that mushooms damage stack the more people run into them at the same time... Again no they do not. So if like to put your shooms in straight line it's probably not a great idea. Putting your shrooms by Baron Nashor and the Dragon are THEE MOST IMPORTANT part of placeing your shrooms so that they alert your team if the enemy team are trying to take it. Also if your are soloing mid a smart idea is placeing shooms at the entrances to the river to avoid ganks.

Teemo's Story

Teemo is a legend among his yordle brothers and sisters in Bandle City. As far as yordles are concerned, there is something just slightly off about him. While Teemo enjoys the companionship of other yordles, he also insists on frequent solo missions in the ongoing defense of Bandle City. Despite his genuinely warm personality, something switches off inside Teemo's mind during combat so that the lives he must end while on patrol do not burden him. Even as a young recruit, the drill instructors and other trainees found it a little disconcerting that, while Teemo was normally charming and kind, he turned deadly serious and highly efficient the minute combat exercises began. Teemo's superiors quickly steered him toward the Scouts of the Mothership, which is one of Bandle City's most distinguished Special Forces unit alongside the Megling Commandos.
