Hi, let me just start things off as I am Sneaky Cow Man.

This is my first mobafire build.
I'm a casual player, and the highest I have been in ranked was Bronze 1.
Needles to say, this build is just for fun but if you think its good enough for ranked go ahead ^^

Why do I like Poppy?

Well Poppy has been around for a long time, but ever since her release she has been a very unpopular pick. Mostly because people did not know how to utilize her abilities. I love Poppy because she is such a unique pick and she is alot of fun.

PROS

Can tower dive easily because of her ultimate and passive
Lots of fun to play
Takes out Baron,Dragon, and Wights out quickly
Very fast and can escape very well
Great for focusing out the ADC in team fights
Good for Baron/Dragon steals
Hard to kill
Can completely RUIN team fights for the enemy team

CONS

Ultimate can be hard to land on the preferred target
Often considered a troll pick
Slow start in the jungle
Can completely RUIN team fights for your own team
Her passive is countered by true damage

HEAL

Heal restores 100~355 Health depending on your level to you and nearly allies.
It's not super useful in the jungle but it helps sustain, and it's useful if you're low before ganking. Heal can replace flash if you feel you need the sustain more than the escape.

SMITE

Smite is very useful in the jungle, and it's hard to jungle without smite. You often get your buffs stolen, and its a lot harder to steal baron or dragon without smite.


I HIGHLY recommend smite.


IGNITE

Ignite is good when you're confident playing Poppy.
If you think you need the kill assurance instead of flash, ignite is perfect.

Olaf counters Poppy's passive, as her passive does not work with true damage.
You can counter Olaf as poppy by:
Being careful when Olaf is low health. Olaf is stronger when he is low health.
He cannot chase you very well if you prevent him from catching his axe.


Darius is very strong, and super aggressive.
If there is a top lane Darius try to stay clear of top as much as possible.
You can counter Darius by:
Staying out of range of his pull
If his pull is on cooldown he can be kited.

Irelia is a very strong assassin.
To counter to these:
Be wary of having higher health than she does, as her Equilibrium Strike will stun you instead of slowing you.
Be careful of last hitting minions, as she can dash to these.

Teemo is obviously a popular pick, and an OP pick.
Teemo is extremely hard to counter as Poppy, as his blinding dart and mushrooms basically destroy poppy
Some ways to counter Teemo:
Stay clear of most bushes, unless you're positive there are no shrooms in it.
Try not to 1 v 1 him, unless you're sure you can kill him.
Be careful of shrooms when ganking the lane that Teemo is in.

Jungle Poppy is great for ganking, and clearing camps.

By following these steps, you'll become a master Jungle Poppy!

Start with blue buff. It is okay to use Smite.
Go ahead and kill the Wight.
Once you have your Blue buff and you have killed your Wight you can go get Red buff
Continue jungling normally, Until a gank is needed, or a counter jungle is available.

Ganking

Ganking with Poppy is pretty easy, and super effective. Simply walk through the bush nearest to the enemy turret. For example if the enemy team is the Purple team and you're going to gank bot, Go through the River bush.
