Hello, I have been playing Ryze for quite sometime now, building him in a way which works for me, so I decided to share what I have learnt about this magnificent champion so hopefully more people play and enjoy being a Mystical Unkown that once was a man.

Now I am no pro, but I do, do my research (yes, I said do do...)

So what I have learned should hopefully be presented from my item selection and the little bits of advice given in each phase of returning to the shop.

As Ryze, you can't farm a whole bunch without blowing your ultimate (which is fine as it has no mana cost) but what are you going to do when it is on cooldown?

Every Ryze must build a "Tear Of Goddess" and this will make farming extra beneficial. Last hitting creeps with Ryze's "Overload" (Q) he can slowly increase his max mana while hitting hard and ensuring that he get's his last hits.

More talk about the ultimate, When Ryze has his ultimate and there is a massive wave of creeps, Ryze can use this combo. R > E > Q. This activates Ryze's ultimate, granting AoE damage as his Spell Flux (E) does all the damage with a final Overload (Q) to finish off the creeps that didn't die.

Ryze is all about combos!

If you just want to burst some damage then run away,
Use, Q > W.
This will hit your opponent for a decent amount of Health while keeping him at bay, as well as, reducing your Q cooldown again so you can straight away go back to last hitting.

If you have all your cooldowns ready and want to do maximum damage,
Use, Q > R > Q > W > E > Q.
This will Hit your target, then you activate your ultimate so then the Q cooldown is reduced and you now have more movement speed so you can chase your target, in which you can then hit your Q again, then snaring the target and using "Spell Flux" so that the ability bounces between yourself and the target while finally finishing the target off with another Q.

If you just burned your ultimate on farming,
Use, Q > W > E.
But! Before you use E, walk closer towards the target so that the ability will bounce between the both of you.

HINT: Spell Flux can bounce between Ryze and an enemy, you can sue Ryze as a wall for his ability. But, the bounce for the ability has a lower range then when it was first used, therefor, try to remember before every time that you use E, run closer to the target before using it.
