Pre-Match Preparations

You an either use Greater Mark of Magic Penetration if you'ld like to do a bit more Damage with your Abilities,or Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration if you like to autoattack your enemy and more lasthit.

If you're against an Attack-Damage-Champion its the Best to go Greater Seal of Armor ,If not Always use the Greater Seal of Scaling Health ,And if you want to Dominate Early on a bit more use the Greater Seal of Health .

I Recommend to run Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power against any Attack-Damage-Champions,Alternatively you could also run the Greater Glyph of Ability Power for more Early Damage.
Against Mages its Recommended to use Either Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resistance or Greater Glyph of Magic Resistance.
Alternatively if you know you have an easy Lane you can also run the Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction.

Theres a Wide Variety to choose from,
You can run the Greater Quintessence of Ability Power for Early Dominance or the Greater Quintessence of Scaling Ability Power for Mid-Lategame Power,You could also go in the Greater Quintessence of Health for Early Beefiness.
Also a good choice is the Greater Quintessence of Spell Vamp for Spellvamp-Stacking and More Healing-Power.

The Choice is Yours,And Remember, you are able to Mix Runes so set them up as you like.

They are only 2 Good Set-ups here,The one with the Moonflair Spellblade instead of Dangerous Game or the other way around.(Pictures below)

Normally with 9 points Left you should go the Normal Path(Picture Below),but if you feel you want to be Super-Beefy you can go 0x/21/0x(also Picture Below).

Normal 9-Points-Path.

Tanky Beefy Vampire.

You can also go on this Tree with your Remaining 9 points,Or you can play Support Vladimir,Pissing off the Enemy with your endless Transfusions.(Pictures Below)

Normal 9-Points-Path.

Crazy Support Vladimir.

Summoner Spells:

Flash is your Must-Have-Skill,Take it always.

Ignite is useful against Champions with Healing Abilities, yourself included.

I often use Teleport because its to useful,First of all you can just Back off,Buy items,Teleport back and you just made very little loss in terms of creeps and exp.

Mind-Set and when to Pick Vladimir:

Your Mind-Set should be that you want to be Focused on Farming against an Hard Lane and to Trade against an Easy Lane.Be Prepared to Trade Whenever you can with your Q and E against an Easy Lane and to be Prepared to Farm as much as you can Against an Hard Lane.

When to Pick Vladimir:

Vladimir is an Beefy Nuke-Mage who can Trade out other Mages,so Pick him Against these Foes:

Diana is pretty Easy, just Trade with her and Stay near your minions that she cant Lasthit them because otherwise she would take Damage.

Her Range is too Low to Get to you,Feel Free to Trade her all Day long.

SHe may has some good Mobility but you can still beat her,Just Trade and Pool if she tries to Combo You.

She cant really Burst you Down becuase of your Pool so feel Free to go all in and then if she uses her Ultimate use pool.

Just Wreck him,he cant really do something against you.

Just Trade him,if he comes near you run away and otherwise use Pool that he cant Fling you.

Harass him as long as you want.

He cant do Anything against you really, except maybe waiting for a gank, but thats another story.

Usually you can Take him on Almost Every Champ without an Mobility-Ability.

In-Game Preparations 2:Itemization,Wards and Actives.

This Part will be about Items that are Good for Vladimir,Proper Warding and Item-Actives.

Items for the Vampire:

You should Start Depending on your Enemy,If it will be an Easy Lane,Use an Amplifying Tome and 1 Health Potion,If you need Mobility to Dodge Skills, use Boots of Speed and 5 [Health Potions]],And if youre Facing an Harassy Opponent or/and you need Sustain go for the Doran's Shield and 1 Health Potion,Always take the Warding Totem with you.

Congratulations, you just Purchased(hopefully) the Right Start-item for this Game!

Lets Move on,Now you were in Lane and Harassed the Enemy,Farmed some Gold and Bloodsucked some Minions,Now you can Purchase your First Build-into-Item,Which you will Choose is depending on Situation:

If you Choose the Mobility-Path at the Start you could Upgrade them Now getting Much more Mobility and Cooldown-Reduction or Magic Penetration resulting in more Damage.

If you Choose the Offensive-Path at the Start you can now Upgrade it to the Powerful Hextech Revolver That Later Evolves to the Core-Item Will of the Ancients

If youre Fed(2-4 Kills) You can get this Goody to even more Snowball and later on just Destroy them.

Since you are in Mid-Game now you Should get yourself some Fitting Items, here you will see some Items that i Recommend using.

will of the ancient's
You can now Upgrade your Pistol into a Book! This is Vladimir's Core-Item and Should Always be Obtained in the Game.

This Item Gives you a High Amount of Health(400),100 Ability-Power and also the Passive to Slow Enemies for 35% for 1.5 Seconds upon Dealing Magic-Damage.

This item Synergies Very Well with Rylais Crystal Scepter because it will deal double as much damage to crowd-controlled enemies.Giving you Magic Penetration(15),Health(300),Ability-Power(50) and an Unique DoT that applies upon dealing Magic-Damage to an Enemy.

The Morellonomicon has maybe 10 Manaregen that you dont need BUT it has 80 Ability-Power,114 Health from your Passive and best of all 20% Cooldown-Reduction.

Since youre Now in the Endgame and should have got some items its time to fill your Bags with the Rest,Here you will see Powerful Items that will Provide you Utility and/or High Amounts of Damage(and Health).

Deathfire Grasp not only Gives you 120 Ability Power and 168 Health because of your passive, but gives you also another Burst-Ability in addition to your Ultimate.

Zhonyas Hourglass Provides you 120 Ability-Power,50 Armor,168 Health From your passive and the Ability to Freeze yourself for 2.5 Seconds.

Rabadons Deathcap provides you with 120 Ability-Power,168 Health from your Passive and an Passive Ability that Grants 30% Bonus Ability-Power and 44% Bonus Health from your passive.

My Playstyle and Itemization.

For some of you Wondering why i am Taking That is because of the 20% Cooldown-Reduction,That i have in Total 35% CDR to have my Transfusion and Tides of Blood Every 2.6 Seconds Ready, and to Harass the Living Hell out of the Enemy. You may Think "But there are Better Choices for Cooldown-Items aren't they?" Yes You would be Right,But This Item has 80 AP,20% CDR and That for only 2200 Gold,Besides The Grievous Wounds Passive is also very Nice against an Olaf or Mundo or such.So you may See That My Playstyle is that i am Abusing the Only-Cooldown-Limited Ability,I does that also on Rengar. But the better Thing on Vladimir is that he can Mages in Lane if he got those 2 Items(Will of the Ancients and Morellonomicon)
