Pros:
Cons:
- Uses no mana
- Good Farmer
- Can be somewhat tanky
- Capable of crowd control and burst damage with
Ruthless Predator (W) especially in combination with
Black Cleaver
- Excells at chasing with
Slice and Dice (E) wich can also be used as an escape mechanism, and can jump through walls.
- His ultimate,
Dominus (R) can really change you're chances of survival if u seem like dying.
- His passive
Reign of Anger makes him stonger when below 50% health.
- It's
Nasus EVIL brother muwhahaha!
Cons:
- Uses Fury, wich is something you will have to get used to, and might force you to play more agressively especially early game.
- Is squishy early game wich can make him a target in fights, remember your not a tank with this guide.
- Vulnerable to CC, especially without
Mercury's Treads.
Rune choices:
greater mark of desolation: Armor Penetration: Your a physical champion and these happen to be the best runes out there for you.
: Dodge Chance: More survivability, especially in combination with 'Nimbleness' in the masteries.
: Flat Cooldown Reduction: Big crocodile, big cooldowns, so why not reduce those by an extra 5,85% ?
greater quintessence of desolation: Same as goes for the marks.
Masteries:
I went for a standard 21/09/00 DPS mastery build. If you don't happen to have dodge runes you could drop the points in Nimbleness and Evasion, and put those into Alacrity, Archaic Knowledge, Hardiness and Improved Ghost (if using Ghost offcourse).
Alternative would be

Ghost makes for excellent chases and escapes, wich is usefull because your E

Exhaust: We put a talent point into this one, wich makes it even lowering armor and magic reststance and increases it's duration. Great for ganking, but also good for getting away.
Other choices I would recommend instead of these:

These are the locations for the twisted treeline, where u can slice/dice through walls. (Note: these drawn maps arent accurate, the wall beneath dragon is in-game actually the thickest of walls u can slice/dice through!)

1:
: The shield will give you a chunk of survivability early game. I prefer this item over doran's blade because it also generates health when ur not in the position to attack minions.
2:
: These are just fit for Renekton because of the 15% cooldown reduction. Renekton uses long cooldown spells, and these will help reduce them.
3:
: Attack Damage, Cooldown Reduction and Armor Penetration, everything we are looking for.
4:
: More survivability, damage and a chance to slow wich has a nice synergy with your W
Ruthless Predator.
5:
: This is just PERFECT for Renekton. Attack Damage boosting your auto-attacks and skill damage, attack speed wich makes u generate Fury faster, and a passive debuff wich lowers the target's armor. Your W
Ruthless Predator will instantly put 3 debuff stacks on your target when casted with the Fury bonus, reducing the target's armor by a massive 45! We start this item out with a B. F.Sword for the DPS increase with auto-attacks and your QWE skills.
6:
: Attack Damage, Survivability, and throws in a 40% slow for each melee physical attack. We start this off with
Phage because of the Attack Damage, Health and chance to slow.
7:
: Upgraded brutalizer, the active of this thing is just insane increase of dps! Also got a nice synergy with your W when activated, because u land 2/3 hits wich will give u longer buff duration.
7:
: We take this to increase our DPS and survivability. The more minions you farm, the more you get of both. We also start this item out with a
B. F. Sword for the same reason.
8:
: If you managed to farm enough gold to get this far, sell you
Doran's Shield and buy this item. This will give you a big chunk of survivability, granting armor and magic resistance but also the resurrecting passive each 5 minutes.
9:
,
,
and
: These buff health, attack damage, attack speed, critical strike chance, ability power, cooldown reduction and stealth detection. These CAN be used when no item slots are available and will be consumed immediately granting you the buffs. DO NOT FORGET THESE, IT'S A COMMON MISTAKE!

Don't feel like the standard build is working for you? Take a look at your opponents and check out these items!
Utility Items:
sight ward
3v3 tips:
Make sure you ward lizard and dragon. Use vision wards at dragon/lizard if u spotted them planting wards at that spot, or ward mid if they have
Twitch or
Evelynn in their team.
Offensive Items:
: If your a big fan of snowball items, go ahead and pick this item after your boots, it's just not my cup of tea.
: When a lot of your enemies are stacking lots of armor, this is the weapon for you.
: A lot of magical nukers? This item could help you to survive. Counters
Karthus'
Requiem.
Defensive Items:
: Don't feel safe with that many Crowd Control in the opposing team? Feel free to take these boots and enjoy it's magic resist and CC-reduction! If u feel u got a lack of CDR, throw in either a
Spirit Visage or a
Randuin's Omen as stated below.
: Encountering a lot of physical DPS? This item grants you health, armor, even more cooldown reduction and a built in slow both passive and active. Great item for teamfights. It also got a nice synergy with
Dominus, making them ubable to move away from it's AoE quickly, taking more damage from it.
: Just like with Randuin's, if you encounter a lot of physical DPS this item could prove usefull to you. It doesnt have that many armor, cooldown reduction or built in slows, but it's cheaper and also got a nice AoE-DPS wich stacks nice with
Dominus. Great item to farm minions, and could replace the black cleaver when against a lot of physical DPS.
: Encountering a lot of magical DPS? This item grants you the most magic resist of any item in-game! It also comes with a nice 8% movement speed increase and health regeneration. Combined with your
Slice and Dice you will be able to chase almost any champion out there!
: Grants some nice Magic Resist and comes with a Cleanse-like ability. The good thing is this is better! It removes ALL debuffs including DoT's like
Ignite and
Mordekaiser's
Children of the Grave.
: This item could prove usefull against teams with a lot of physical-high DPS. If you use
Dominus with this item your next to instoppable against such a team, watch them kill themselves while you finish them off!

For seals I chose HP/lvl because they are top-tier and the health is more usefull in combination with armor and magic resistance, like in this case. Also, the health quintessences got nerfed, making these a more viable option for health.
In the masteries I skipped the dodge masteries and Nimbleness because I skipped the dodge runes.

Laning:
Try to get as much last hits as possible, only using your Q for harassment or healing yourself. You do this because you don't want to push too far now. It's good to be aggressive, to get last hits and fury, and scaring off the opponent. Only do this, however, when it is actually safe enough to do this. You can heal any possible harassment damage by using your
Cull the Meek. Remember to keep an eye on any misses on the enemy team.
Harassing:
once you have gathered enough fury;
Slice and Dice in >
Ruthless Predator >
Cull the Meek >
Slice and Dice out.
(E > W > Q > E)
Team Fights:
Focus the (squishy) DPS role, and position yourself so your Q and R can do the most damage output. Remember not to use R before the team fight is actually engaged so they don't **** their pants and you don't waste precious time on your ultimate. Start tearing the squishy DPS apart with your empowered W and using your Q (heal/dmg/fury gain) and E (dmg/escape/armor reduction) tactically.
