Threats & Synergies
Season 11, makes her even. Look for oposite start and permamently invade her. If you make her game unplayable before 6, it is pretty much won game.
This champion is power farming most of the time and rushes lvl 6 so he can gank. I'd say it is even matchup because he can deny whole combo with Q and walk away. Try to ruin his lvl1.
Pretty easy matchup, i'd say galeforce into tabi are perfect match here.
Pretty easy matchup, you'll always be able to dodge his E+Q with your E or flash or simply with your movement when phase rush/nimbus cloak is activated.
Personally, for me, this is maybe an "even" matchup. I place it in minor because he can't do much before the late game.
Be careful with fog of war. Most of Elise players will wait and try to stun you and burst you down. Don't take fights for granted, she has a high potentional of 1v1 because of her spiders.
Squishy and easy killable. Permamently sit in his jungle and you can't lose.
This jungler is a power farm jungler. Most of the time you'll have to ruin his first side. If he goes blue, you'll have to do red and go to his wolves or gromp. If he goes red, you should go to his blue. Put him behind as much as possible and farm his jungle.
If he miss his Q, you pretty much won. Conquer is nerfed and that makes him be more careful in fights. Pretty much dodge his Q and hunt him down.
Season 11, fun pick. Can't say much expect invade him as much as possible and run ignite/smite setup.
Nothing special, easy to kite, he goes down pretty fast if played properly.
New champ in the game, has a fast clear. Try avoiding 2v2 because her sleep last so long. Force 1v1 and shouldn't be a problem.
Nothing much here, dodge the spear and win.
Annoying champion with most annoying kit. You'll need to run tenacity runes and merc treads in order to pull out mid and late game. You can't invade him much because he's fast and super tanky with cinderhulk. I recommend power farming against this matchup.
Pretty easy to invade and to kill early game. Always search for 1v1/2v2.
Permamently invade this champ and you will win.
This champion can be a pain in the ass for you. Knock, slow and another knock up. Try to be in melee range with him. I suggest early invading.
Can be tricky with his W and double knock up from R. Keep your distance and wait for his mistake.
Easy to kite. Just buy executioner before trying to 1v1/2v2. This champ heals a lot. Not buying executioner will make your job harder.
Before a rework it was easy. Now is tricky and can be hard sometimes. Run shieldbow build and keep your AA distance to max range. Also run a fleet runes.
The only thing that is annoying about this matchup is her R. You have to be sure 100% that you can fight her, otherwise she can R to buy time for her team to appear. Anyways easy to kill and to invade.
Pretty easy early game but if we come to late it will be really hard. I'd run fleet footwork and galeforce here.
Pain in the ass. Buy executioner asap and never 1v1 him. Just be there for counter gank.
Nunu & Willump
Extremly hard matchup. Not only he can move faster than you, but he has pretty annoying kit. Force 1v1 level 1, do 3 buffs into invade. I'd say ignite/smite setup with phase rush.
Hard matchup, especially in higher elos when people know how to play him. Fighting him 1v1 can be easy but careful while dashing forward because he can interupt you with his W.
Extremly hard matchup early game. This champion can deny whole combo with his R so be careful while fighting. Also be extremly careful if you decide to invade, because most Shaco players will have ignite and hail of blades in their setup. Pretty annoying until late game.
Easy to invade, easy to kill. I suggest permanently invading and run a fleet/tenacity build.
Should be easy if you steal all the stacks.
You can literally go to his raptors and fight him 1v1 , level 1. I suggest level 3 rush and invading him. You can't lose a single fight against him until late game.
Dodge W and you won the fight. Permamently invade to secure the win. Her kit is weak for duels, but she can be annoying with her CC. Run tenacity runes along with merc and cleaver.
You can't really kite him much because he's fast. Most of the players will run nimbus and phase rush in the jungle. His Q also gives attack speed. Be careful and play smart. Don't waste E too early.
I can't say much about this champion. It's super annoying and always gets fed on bot lane, no matter who plays it. If we are talking about 1v1 only, he can't beat you. But if we are talking about mid/late game for sure he can be pain in the ass. His kit allows him to be on the right spot really fast and he can be really dangerous for your bot lane/mid lane. TIP: Try pinging your team to LATE invade him LEVEL 1. Let him do some damage to his buff and then suddenly appear. For sure you win if he doesn't take his first buff.
50:50 matchup. If you make his full clear hard and keep pressuring him, you'll have a better chance to win. Try to track him and counter gank a lot.
Ideal for hard stomping. Nothing much to say, you can adapt any build to her, lethality or crit or bruiser, doesn't matter.
Easy ganking and deep warding. Also if you are premade, try to invade togehter all the time, you should not lose a single fight if you play properly and focus the same target.
Can follow your deep invades with his ultimate and has enough CC to help you win every 2v2/3v2.
This champion is here just because of super broken spell shield.
He tanks everything for you and you just pew-pew. If anyone tries to flash on you, he can perfectly deny that.
Really easy ganks with this champion and overall really easy invades, kinda insane map pressure especially if you are premade.
This synergy is good, but not the best. Ryze has to approach the enemy a bit more than TF in order to apply some CC.
You can connect smokescreen everytime. This champion has insane ammount of slows, stuns and mobility. Try to play around her because you'll get fed really fast.
Alright synergy. Her high mobility allows you to make a lot of plays on top side. Ganks should be done without any problem if her R is up.
His kit allows you to play super aggresive. I recommend being premade.
Champion Build Guide
My name is Agzer, at least i'm mostly known under that name.
I've peaked over 600LPchallenger playing only Graves
I have been playing this game since 2014 and I was a semi-pro player.
I played in ESL/FSL for some time and decided to retire because of my toxicity and team problems.
I decided to eloboost/coach and you wonder why?
It's because I just simply feel better helping other people achieve their dreams.
How did i start to play Graves?
I started playing Graves in season 10 because i MISSPICKED.
I found in-game that he's a really strong champion and that I can do a lot of things with him.
I can flex and adapt all the time and yet I can destroy my enemies.
- Fast clear, takes small damage, deals tons.
- Strong in 90% of matchups.
- His AA pushes scuttle back and scuttle takes more dmg (it's like CC)
- Available to invade in 90% of matchups.
- Can 1v2/1v3 with no problem if played properly.
- Weak against AP champions due to passive, which only gives you armor (Requires MAW)
- No crowd control against champions.
- Can't do much against peel champions
- Hard to do much damage if it is slowed.
There are two starts that I am using, and they are depending on matchups,
1st) I personally always go and ward tri-bush 0:40 and recall to switch from Stealth Ward to Oracle Lens
2nd) If I am starting top side, that means I will invade vertically, so I will be warding the vertical side enemy buff at 0:40 also, recall to switch from Stealth Ward to Oracle Lens.
Pretty much Graves is a champion for all game parts, from early to late if played properly.
If you have a squishy matchup and you are sure that the opponent is starting opposite side of you, always invade his jungle by going vertically.
This can be easily done by using E over the baron pit when you are red side or using E over the dragon pit when you are blue side.
Granting an extra CS in the enemy jungle will open more opportunities for you in the game.
Do not underestimate Graves damage, if you get ahead early you can be free to contest dives/invades.
It's even easier if your laner has at least 1 CC because you can connect your Smoke Screen with crowd control and eliminate your opponent easier.
WHAT IF YOUR LANER HAS NO CC?
Don't worry, those situations happen often and if you play it properly, you should not worry about results.
Try to appear on the right side, preffered behind the opponennt and always try to cast Smoke Screen in front of him!
Because he'll either have to change his direction (left or right) and you gain 1 or 2 more seconds to kill him, because he's not running straight line to his tower or he'll just Flash and it's worth it again.
You'll make the gank pretty much easier and with a bit of luck, you'll get a kill.
TIP: Always try to stack your E and get 1 extra bullet and extra armor.
What should I do if I can't gank ANY lane?
This happens really often in our games. Don't worry there is the solution for that.
Don't spend too much time ganking a 50:50 lane. Time is money, keep farming and prioritize buffs.
If you simply can't gank anyone because your teammates are unable to set up a gank, just keep farming. Farming can win most of your solo games.
Here you can find some examples of my farm:
As you can see it's always 9+- per minute, no matter if I am fed or not, I always farm a lot.
REMEMBER TO PRIORITIZE YOUR BUFFS ! KEEP YOUR JUNGLE CLEARED !
Try to be close to your support because most of the time you'll be stronger than you marksman, and support will prolly start to play more around you.
If you are playing lethality high damage build, always try to flank or attack from the side.
With your Flash up and Nimbus Cloak you can easily get in, kill and escape.
You have great mobility and damage to outperform your enemies.
Try not to use your Quickdraw too early and save it for breakdown moments.
After you finish your Duskblade/Collector, you will be able to win pretty much all 1v1's.
In the late game, you will rarely have the opportunity to 1v1 , but when you do have it, play it slowly, don't smash your keyboard with your spells.
A lot of people underestimate Graves damage and sometimes they waste their ultimate for no reason.
Keep in mind that Graves is one of the TOP BASE DAMAGE CHAMPIONS in the game + apply items on that.
I really hope i explained everything well.
