makes you farm under tower if you're too careless, can and will combo you into death in matter of seconds in early game, after lost chapter it becomes manageable, but he's still a threat

hone your dodge skills cause you'll need them for this matchup, E away from his W if needed
Akali
play around her shroud cooldown and respect her level 6 potential
Darius
annoying, but he's less tanky than you'd imagine, dead lane if he rushes mercury threads though, bait his Q so you can go in
Garen
much like darius except he has more healing, stun him mid E with your own E and walk away, your E can delay his Q
Wukong
respect his level 1, then burst him down lol
Shen
watch out for empowered Q, ping when he gets ult to your teammates
Teemo
keep your distance and avoid getting poked until level 3, his blind does stop your empowered W auto, so keep that in mind if going for a combo
Yorick
yorick heals with his Q, his ghouls block your E, and his cage disrupts you real bad, ALSO DO NOT LEAVE HIM ALONE IN LANE, HE WILL TAKE YOUR TOWER EASILY.
play until lost chapter and then ask for help from ur jungler
Dr. Mundo
mundo is annoying thanks to the fact his passive can cancel your E, otherwise he can't do too much to you, try using a bait E, walk away, destroy the canister, THEN try to combo him
Sett
dodge his E and the center of his W, he's surprisingly fast with his Q, so don't be afraid to body slam away from him, you can burst him down if he's too careless, but if he rushes MR it's quite annoying
Kayle
don't forget she's a melee champ until level 6, punish her for walking up to last hits, and play as an ape, you really can't play her game and let her scale, otherwise she goes from "lol, noob?" to a powerhouse
Volibear
INSTABAN, it's really hard to cancel his Q with your E, his empowered autos chip you and he pushes wave surprisingly fast, HE WILL ULT YOU UNDER YOUR TOWER AT SOME POINT, so keep that in mind when he hits level 6, also, untradeable.
Olaf
Olaf's W sustain is dumb, hope he makes mistakes so you can burst him down, also dodge his Q, and watch out for the true damage on his E, keep in mind your Q and E won't slow him when he has ult, so just stay on your tower if he rushes up to you
Tahm Kench
nerfed but still annoying, stay behind minions so you don't get his Q slow, E away from his abyssal dive if needed, he can ult you under his tower if you're too careless, so be careful
Fiora
never walk in melee range, her Riposte can cancel your E and your ult's knockback, take phase rush and play for lost champter until a point where you can safely Q spam her, if you want to combo her, bait her Riposte first
Kennen
more annoying than hard, will dash away if your engage is too predictable, dodge his Q's, and be careful to not get stunned if he's at level 6
Cho'Gath
dodge his Q's, you can play aggressive until he builds MR (if he does), keep in mind he has a execute with his ult, so watch out for running too low on HP
Singed
easy against a bad singed, can be a little annoying against a half-decent one, combo him quickly, then get out of his fling range
if he proxies, ask for le jungle help so he can't get away that easily
Quinn
unsurprisingly, ranged champs are sort of a pain for Gragas, I'd recommend not engaging unless both her Q and E are down
Illaoi
two of her abilities are skill shots, keep in mind that she'll try to wait for you to go for last hit on minions so she can either Q or E you, keep her ult in mind if you ask for a gank, as she has 2v1 potential with it
Yone
your beat him early, but you will get outscaled hard, ult him under tower if he ever gets too cocky
even lane until he gets his first two items
Yasuo
keep in mind he'll try to dash through the minion wave to gap close, just dodge his tornadoes and you'll be fine, just like yone, respect his item spikes (also his wind wall blocks your ult)
Mordekaiser
if he ever hits his pull, E him before he can finish the combo and walk away
be mindful of his ult, consider buying a Quicksilver Sash if you're having issues
Akshan
ranged top laner zzzz
play around his cooldowns, all I can say
Maokai
maokai tends to use abilities often and run short on mana, go in whenever he's low on it, easy lane zzz, just keep his ult in mind for gank potential
Sion
aatrox but easier, just dodge lol
Irelia
second worst matchup imo, do not get stunned, do not get near low hp minions, do not take extended trades, and you'll "win" :)
ask your jungler if he can prioritize you over other lanes, and if not, just try your best to farm...
Riven
Oh my goodness Riven must have some of, if not the most awesome boobies ever! I wish I could hold them in my hands and give them a tight lil squeeze 😩. It would make the happiest boy alive to know that Riven loved me back the way I love her. She seriously is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I dream about her every night.
Aurelion Sol
i've only encountered one Aurelion Sol in toplane so far, just dodge his Q, and burst him down, ez lane! :)
Gangplank
E away from his barrels if needed, has no escape tools if his flash is down, so keep that in mind, do not play too aggressively pre-level 3, his Q spam does deceptively good damage!
Gwen
avoid the tip of her Q, try to bait it out constantly! her W has a 22 second cooldown, so use that in your advantage, all of your skills not counting your ult have a lower cooldown, DO NOT try to combo her if she has W currently in usage.
Tryndamere
ALWAYS start with E, Tryndamere will always try to Q into you, stun + 1 auto attack him whenever he tries to do it, and try your best to kill him at least once in lane, because when he hits level 6, he will try to tower dive you! ward your jungler's camps, as tryndamere can easily take them without you even noticing, thanks to his wide range Q!

AOE charm so you can engage like a pro B)
Lux
Q's root allows for easy body slams or a 2-second Barrel Roll
Morgana
for the same reasons as Lux, root with both Q and ult!

use Nautilus's empowered autos and/or Q to hit your E, when he ults, barrel roll under them so you'll get extra damage!

for reasons similar to nautilus! if he manages to hit his Q + E combo, barrel first (because the enemy will be in the air), and use your body slam after, so you can get extra damage!

you can ult people into his cage, and he can cage enemies so you can catch up!

good jungler to have because you'll both be able to pin the enemy laner down if she decides to gank at any point!
