NOT UPDATED FOR Season 12
EVERYTHING ABOVE HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR SEASON 12

EVERYTHING BELOW THIS POINT HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR SEASON 12

I am updating one guide a week for the next 10 weeks. If this message is not at the top of the guide then it has been updated
Welcome! If you do not know me I am Doglightning a Neeko support main. I've managed to maintain GrandMaster for 2 years straight now but I love to play other off meta supports on my low Diamond account. Recently I have picked up LeBlanc support and fell in love immediately. She reminds me a lot of Neeko support and I hope this guide helps you all fall in love with her as well!

Why LeBlanc support?
It sounds cliché but the best form of cc in the game is death and LeBlanc excels at this. Once you get your combo's down you can one shot and adc or mid laner making the fight a 4v5 and instantly won. Out side of her burst she has great roaming and should be paired with an adc like Ezreal who can farm 1v2 and allow you to roam. Finally a really underrated part of support is vision control and LeBlanc is one of the best at placing vision and abusing it. with her w Distortion you can get safe deep wards and use those wards to find picks.
Please check out my twitch it really helps support me in making Neeko content like this:
PROS

+ Great base damage
+ Amazing vision control
+ excellent roaming
+ Lane bully
+ Doesn't fall off

The best 2 things about LeBlanc that makes her supportable is her ability to get deep vision safely with her Distortion and the fact that she can always one shot an enemy adc at any point in the game. LeBlanc also is a great roamer as a Distortion into Ethereal Chains is a free Flash or kill and you can murder the enemy jungle if you run into them with yours.
CONS

- Low range
- Squishy
- Hard to play from behind
- High skill floor
- Doesn't offer anything to your adc
- gets poked out
- hard lane phase

LeBlanc has so really amazing strengths but its balanced by very big weaknesses.
Fot starters she is very squishy so you have to pick correct times to go in or you will die. This also leads to her being very bad if you get poked at all because you cannot go in if you even lose 300hp as you will get one shot. Finally she can't really help protect your adc and has a harder time in lane phase.

SUMMONER SPELLS
-
FLASH: Flash is just mandatory rune on almost every champ. It allows you to play more aggro and lane your Distortion
IGNITE: Ignite is a direct counter to Heal which almost every adc takes so be sure to use it before the enemy Heals for some early kills. In teamfights put it on whoever is getting the most healing.
EXHAUST: I don't really run this but if enemy has tons of assassins or something like a Tristana or Kalista in lane then its probably ok

DOMINATION

Electrocute is a great rune on LeBlanc level one you can auto Distortion auto to proc Electrocute and get a good trade in. It also plays to LeBlancs assassin like play style wanting to just one shot someone in a combo. once you hit lvl 2 its impossible to not pop Electrocute even if miss Ethereal Chains because you cannot really miss auto attack Sigil of Malice and Distortion.
Most plays you are going to engage using your w Distortion. Since this spell is a dash you get Sudden Impact proc'd so you get spell pen to make your full combo do more damage to help you one shot the poor adcs >:D

I run Zombie Ward because the late game vision control it gives is insane but I think it's only better in diamond+ elo as it requires the enemy to actually ward which lower elo supports don't really do that well.

Ghost Poro is better in low elos because for one the enemy is less likely to sweep wards making it easier to stack compared to higher elo where they enemy is constantly sweeping wards before you can convert them into powos.

Eyeball Collection may have less utility compared to the other two but you usually can stack it faster to get access to the 30 ap faster and help snowball faster.
Relentless Hunter is just great for keeping presence on the map also very good for games you think you will not be building Mobility Boots.

Ultimate Hunter is really good on LeBlanc because you kinda wanna use Mimic on cooldown to poke and look for one shots. This rune just plays to that helps you late game get possibly 2 Mimics in a fight.
Manaflow Band is great as it eliminates your need for mana items and allows you to pick up a Night Harvester which gets you some extra health.

Biscuit Delivery is another mana option but might not be enough to enabled a Night Harvester. I would consider a Everfrost with this option.
Transcendence is free cdr which is never bad. At level 11 you get 20% cdr after you kill someone which means you can go in for a kill then have kinda like a reset because your spells are such a low cd.

Time Warp Tonic doesn't really help outside of very early lane. If you want to fight a lot early in lane this just makes you a bit tankier so enemy cannot focus on you
double Adaptive Force because we out here tryna kill the enemy. da heck you doing if not taking this hehexd
PASSIVE
ABILITY
Mirror Image (Passive): Mirror Image summons a clone when you fall below 40% that you can control with alt + click. Only use of this for the most part is mind games where you fool the enemy into thinking its you or to block skill shots.
Q
Sigil of Malice (Q): Sigil of Malice is a point and use spell that does dmg and if you hit the enemy with a second spell you pop an 2nd extra amount of damage. usual make you you have another spell ready after you cast Sigil of Malice

W
Distortion (W): This is the bread and butter spell of LeBlanc support. Basically Distortion dashes LeBlanc forwards doing AoE splash damage to everyone hit. If Distortion is activated again within 4 sec you go back to your starting point.
Use this to get in range to hit your Q and E and use it to get deep wards in enemy jungle.

E
Ethereal Chains (E): Ethereal Chains launches a chain out that attaches to the enemy and after a short delay if they don't get out of range from you with then proc a 2nd time to root them. Usually you hit Ethereal Chains first them use Sigil of Malice while waiting for the root to proc on Ethereal Chains which will activate the 2nd damage part of Sigil of Malice.

R
Mimic (R): This is LeBlancs combo spell. How mimic works is it will recast your last casted spell again. So if you last casted a Distortion then Mimic will be a Distortion. Use Mimic with Sigil of Malice for burst, with Distortion for more gap close or AoE damage and with Ethereal Chains for a longer cc chain when peeling.

vs Range supports I take Distortion level 1 as you can use your auto Distortion auto to
proc Electrocute level one and get a decent trade in with the enemy. Other then that its
pretty standard. I put 2 early points in for a good lvl 4 spike while maxing Distortion
first because getting that on a low cooldown really unlocks LeBlancs kit.

vs Melee supports its the exact same as vs range except level 1 I take Ethereal Chains.
Usually Distortion will put you in range of a melee supports crowd control level 1 and I
found it better to just chain them from range and hit two autos for a Electrocute proc.

Combos

Early Core

  • This item perfectly fits LeBlancs playstyle. It's 123% gold efficient with no stacks and if you start to snowball this item will be huge.
  • Again we are a burst assassin mage and we want items to help us do max damage which is why we get pen boots!

Mythics

Core Items

  • Great snowball item for LeBlanc. If you are winning and have 8+ stacks upgrade to this item. If not just sell it later for a different situational item instead!
  • Super good because LeBlanc is super cooldown reliant and has low hp. This item provides both. You get your Distortion down to 5 seconds and will be very hard to get caught out. Usually sub this out for other situational items if you need them.
  • now a great item. You should get this last or when you hit 13 as it has great stats now. Not much more to say.

Situational Items

  • If the enemy has bursty champs that will kill you when you go in the Zhonya's Hourglass is a great tool to let you go in and stall time until Distortion comes off cooldown again.
  • If enemy has a ap heavy team or poke champs then this is your go to item!
  • If the squishies you are trying to kill are stacking mr like a merc treads and something else then this is a great option to let you still one shot >:D
  • If enemy has healers then this is a must as you cannot burst a target who is being healed. Even sitting on Oblivion Orb is fine.
In general you do not want to trade in lane as LeBlanc support as if you lose too much health you will not be able to all in. Most of the time you are just casually waiting for the enemy to make a mistake so you can go all in. That being said I do usually trade at level one as I have pots to heal up and you can usually get a favorable trade here. I simply auto Distortion auto vs ranged or Ethereal Chains auto auto vs melee to get a early lead. Once you hit level 2 unless you have a very strong adc you don't want to go in again till you are at least level 3 as this is when you unlock Sigil of Malice and can really threaten a all in. Usually wait till the enemy support blows a major cooldown then Distortion on the enemy adc and use your Ethereal Chains into Sigil of Malice combo for easy kills.

The real strength of LeBlanc though is her roaming so pairing with adcs who can solo farm while you terrorize the map is best I found. Stick with your jungler and any 2v2 scenario you get into will be won as you have crazy burst and your mobility will make it impossible for the enemies to escape. Ganks mid also are very strong. A Distortion into Ethereal Chains is a free Flash or kill depending on the mids cooldowns. Finally using Distortion you can safely get deep into the enemy jungle to scout and place vision which can win early game alone for your team!
Once the mid/late game comes not much really changes on this champ. You are still just wanted to follow your jungle looking for skirmishes. Get good vision around objectives using Distortion and sit and wait. This is actually one reason I think LeBlanc fits so well as a support is her vision setup. LeBlanc loves sitting in bushes and waiting for an enemy to face check her but usually she doesn't get to have the vision around her that she always wants unless the support places it for her. As support you can setup perfect vision around your bush camp so you have 100% info on whos where so you don't get caught out in a 2v1 scenario.

In team fights you have two playstyles. The assassin playstyle which is usually preferred of the cc chain peel playstyle. If your job is to assassin the back like then use Distortion to sneak behind the enemy and as the fight starts look to one shot their backline carries. If you pull this off then the fight is instantly won. Sometimes your job will be to peel with a double chain combo for a 3 sec root on a primary target. This isn't preferred but if your team is low on peel sometimes this is your job. For instance one game the enemy team had a master yi and I was the only cc so every fight I was just 3 sec double chain rooting him on cd.
Thanks to anyone who made it this far. It look me about 11 hours to make this guide and I would really appreciate it if you checked my twitch out!
