Hi I am SubwayCheese, I am a Kayn main with him really being the only jungler I play. I played league awhile ago when I first got into and recently starting playing again about a year ago. I am thinking about maybe making some videos here and there but I don't really know. Occasionally I will play Thresh top which isn't exactly the greatest idea but it is super fun and can actually work super well against squishy matchups.

Although people will often say "Oh Kayn is such a brainless OP champ!" I often tend to disagree with this. The reason being that Kayn is 2 completely different playstyles in one champ. Blue Kayn is an assassin who runs around all inning people and killing everything in sight. While Red Kayn is a tank you can CC people, with great healing and is ideal in team-fights. Blue Kayn does more burst damage while Red Kayn is better for sustain.

Blue Kayn is an assassin as I am sure you already know. The main way you want to play this champ is to try and pick off the enemy backline/damage dealers. He eats squishies for breakfast and is super mobile making it easy to go across map. Try not to engage in a 1v1 against a tank because chances are you will lose. Unless you poke him with your W and run away and repeat until they're low enough to all in.

When you enter a game and you have decided on Blue Kayn then you made a great decision. He is a high damage assassin and highly benefits off early ganks. The first camp you want to start at is wolves. His Q is great for the AOE damage required to kill them and it is fast. After this I like to full clear (smite Blue Buff) that side of the jungle then look for a gank either top or mid and if there is non move on to other side jungle and clear. Once you clear bot look for a gank if it is immediate and easy otherwise get scuttle. The bam just jg normally gank often but don;t forget to farm and ward.

DAMAGE!! The amount of damage you do as a Blue Kayn is absurd. You can almost 1 shot kill any squishy with your W-Q combo. However don't over estimate your abilities and don't underestimate you enemies. You want to try pick off the enemy backline and kill wanderers. If you 1v1 a tanky champ don't try to go in straight away, use your E, jump into a wall then W then and dip. Repeat this until they are within all-inning health and kill them. If you try to 1v1 a tank at full health you will almost certainly lose that fight and possibly give up a shutdown. When joining a teamfight go for the most grouped up champions and W-Q in and R out if you get targeted. Always go in and out of PVP to avoid constant deaths. The biggest mistake you can make is losing your early lead, Kayn is a scaler so once you're ahead don't lose that lead.

So if you picked Red Kayn he is much more different then Blue some say better some say worse. A lot of people tend to say he's better because of his healing and airborne ability. He is much slower and less agile than blue, but a lot tankier and way better sustain. He is Great against tanks and team fights but will almost always lose against a full CC team comp (Try to build as much tenacity as possible).

Although I prefer Blue Kayn, Red Kayn has some huge advantages over blue Kayn. He benefits a lot more off cs. Jungling as Red Kayn you want to start on Red Buff to get a quick level 2. Depending on how long you get a leash will decide if you have to use smite or not. You will then take you E and move on to Mini-Golems. After that you go to raptors, then Wolves, then Blue, and finally Gromp (If scuttle spawns you can take that too). As you can tell he full clears his jungle before ganking. With this pathing you can get to level 5 within 5-6 minutes if you do it fast enough, then you can start ganking. Nothing too complicated.

DONT BE SCARED!! There may be some fights where you may think that you will die. Never underestimate your ability healing! Your W heals for a big amount and airbornes the enemy team so use it to help your team as well as regain some missing health. You generally want to enter a fight with your W first then charge in with Q. This maximizes damage you can do and allows you to tank for your team. Try to wait till the last minute when it comes to using your R. It heals for an insane amount and can drastically change the tide of a battle in your favor. When you start tanking for a long time, pop an R on someone and let someone else tank some damage for awhile. You are not as fast as some other junglers so try to predict the enemies movement and hit your W if you miss than they can just run away due to them probably being faster and more agile than you. You can use your Q to help chase someone down and gain some ground on then as well as using your E to take shortcuts.
