Introduction

Hey guys, how's it going, and welcome to my first guide!
Now, I know what you're thinking, "First Guide? Wow, what a scrub." But no disregard that thought.
I'm here to show you a few builds that I usually do with Jungle Sejuani ever since I bought her.

I saw Sejuani's potential from the moment I bought her and with recent changes to her, now other people start to see what I see in her as well.
Her ability to just tank turrets and still get a kill (or a double kill) after a gank is amazing since Sejuani doesn't give a ****.
It wasn't until Riot really changed her that I seriously considered her a champ worth picking in Ranked.

I felt like it's only necessary to make a guide about her since I've been playing her for so long.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
+ Great AOE ult
+ Can tank like no other
+ Has several forms of CC
+ A gap closer THAT CAN GO OVER WALLS
+ If ignored during a team fight, her AOE DOT will kill you
+ Rarely banned in ranked solo queue (until people start realizing how strong she is)
+ She rides a mount

Cons:
- Slow clear time compared to other junglers
- Weak 1v1
- Can get counter-jungled easily
- Somewhat mana hungry
- Team-dependent
- Your team will depend on you to be God
- She isn't Lee Sin, Hecarim, Nautlius, or Zac
- Her new artwork sucks IMO

Runes

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush

The Movement Quintessences are necessary for Sejuani to help her gank lanes fast.
The Magic Pen Reds, help her deal more damage.
The Flat Armor Yellows help during early jungling.
The Flat Mag Resist Blues help during early jungling.

Again, this is how I prefer to run her, but I'm sure there are probably better ways to run her.

Skill Sequence

I usually max this last, but you have to get this at level 2.
I max this as soon as possible to deal maximum damage during team-fights.
If you can rely on your team to secure kills, max this first for the slow. If not, I usually max this second after my W.
Always level this up every chance you get.

Abilities

Her reworked passive helps her greatly in her early jungling phase.
She gets armor on-hit and movement slowing effects are reduced from her.
The armor really helps her clear and the movement slowing effect reduction is nice during the later phases of the game.

This is gap-closer has many uses. It's a skill-shot so it's not a Xin-click-and-you-get-a-kill type of skill, but it does have a knock-up once you hit either a champ or a minion with it. That is the most important part of this skill IMO. That small moment where you get them knocked up can make all the difference between a successful gank, and a failed gank. It can also interrupt certain ults, some of which I don't remember right now.

This is the the skill that deals damage for Sejuani. Without this skill, Sejuani isn't Sejuani. This skill does damage based on %HP, hence why items that build so much health is perfect for her. They changed it to basically a 2 stage skill. If you activate it, the next basic attack does damage + the amount of AP you have, but that has a time limit. If you don't hit anything within that time limit, it's basically an AOE DOT which deals massive damage if she's left unchecked during team-fights.

This skill has great CC. I usually don't max this because I want to do more damage, but if you feel confident in your teammates to get the kill, I'd max this first because it just has a massive slow. Just putting 1 skill point on it already slows champs by 50%. That's a lot already. Getting this skill makes all of Sejuani's skills and basic attacks apply frost to anything she hits. Activating it while your opponent has frost is obviously the best time to use it since it does damage and a slow. This is a great skill because of the slow and there's not much else to be said about it other than it has a great slow.

We have finally come to the reason I bought Sejuani in the first place. Her Ultimate, Glacial Prison. This skill-shot ult can freeze a champ in it's tracks AND nearby enemies around it for a certain amount of time, max: 2 seconds. That's basically an eternity. Get the enemy team clumped up and boom they're all frozen and basically placed on a silver platter for your whole team to just jump and destroy. Plus it has a long range which most people don't recognize yet so it can be thrown from a surprising distance and still stun. Plus, it can also interuppt certain ults, like Miss Fortune's Ult.

Item Explanation

I'm going to break this down based on how I set up the possible builds and items above and explain why I pick those items and when to pick those items.

Starting Items:

Hunter's Machete:
Typical starting item for junglers now.

5 Health Potions:
Typical starting item for junglers.

First Back:

Spirit Stone:
should be your next item for the HP/Mana regen for the sustain, and it's passives help you clear camps a lot faster to make up for Sejuani's naturally slow clear. You also want it because it builds into Spirit of the Ancient Golem which has all the stats Sejuani likes: HP, CD reduction, and Tenacity. All of which, capitalize on her strengths which we'll talk about soon.

Boots:
to move quicker.

Core:

This is where the item build starts to differ from jungler to jungler.
Ninja Tabi:
a good choice to stop a lot of basic attacks from their AD unless they have an AP that's getting out of control, get Merc Treads.
Spirit of the Ancient Golem:
Spirit Stone can build into 3 items, but you want to build it into this for the HP, CD reduction, and Tenacity.
Warmog's Armor:
is pure HP which really helps Sejuani deal tons of damage with her Flail of the Northern Winds.

You want these items 9 out of 10 times.

Typical Finished Build:

I would get these items if your team really needs you to get in the fight and you might take some kills from your carry, but this build is all about damage and tanking.

These items are focused on HP and armor.
Ninja Tabi:
for the armor and movement,
Spirit of the Ancient Golem:
For the HP, armor, and CD reduction
Warmogs:
for the HP.
Sunfire Cape:
for the HP and Armor.
Randuin's Omen:
for the HP, armor and active.
Locket of the Iron Solari:
for the HP, armor, CD reduction and active.

You build these if you want to deal a lot of damage while absorbing a lot of damage from the AD carry, turrets and just want to go HAM (literally).

Other Good Items:

I would get these items only if you feel that your team is not so dependent on you, can see that they can get kills on their own and you are mostly just assisting them to get kills.

These items are more on utility and really takes away from most of her tankiness and damage output. In a perfect world, I would always run these items, but in lower leagues, I feel they rely on their jungler a lot so only get these items if you're experienced in jungling, feel that your team can handle itself and needs the utility.
Boots of Mobility:
is a great item to get since you can basically fly from lane to lane and you can just gank a lot faster.
Runic Bulwark:
is an awesome item and I almost always want to run this, but your team may need you for the damage instead. Honestly, I'd get this item first before Warmogs but it lowers your damage output by a lot, which your team may need you for.
Shurelya's Reverie:
is another good utility item for the HP, CD reduction and it's active. The active makes chasing easier or running away faster and if your team needs you to get in there quick for a gank or fight, get this.
Frozen heart:
for the Armor, CD reduction, Mana, and it's passive: reduce attack speed of nearby enemies by 20%. This can really help mitigate some of the damage from their AD carry plus you get a lot of armor to tank as well.

Vs. AD:

Ninja Tabi:
is a good choice against an AD heavy team.
Sunfire Cape:
This item has HP, armor, and a nice passive that synergizes very well with Sejuani. With her W and this item, you'll deal even more damage while still tanking at the same time.
Randuin's Omen:
Good item for the HP, armor, passive and active to stop the enemy or enemies from running away. The passive slows attack speed and movement speed of whoever is attacking you and the active is an AOE slow that has a 60 sec cooldown, which is pretty low.
Frozen Heart:
Has a lot of armor, 20% CD reduction, but no HP so get this if you want that ultimate always up, your team need you to absorb a lot of hits, and to slow down the enemy team's attack speed once you're in the fight.
Thornmail:
This item has the most armor you can get in the game and I rarely get his if ever but if you are just getting steam-rolled by their ADs, get this.

Vs. AP:

Mercury's Treads:
If early game, you feel that their AP is hurting a lot or they have an AP heavy team, get this instead of Ninja Tabi.
Banshee's Veil:
Great item for the HP, Mana, Mag Resist, and passive. The passive stops 1 spell with a 25 second cooldown. Plus it looks really cool on Sejuani.
Spirit Visage:
Another great item for Sejuani because it has HP, Cool Down Reduction, and Mag Resist. Sadly, the passive does nothing for her.
Abyssal Scepter:
Another viable choice if you want to do some damage, while getting Mag Resist too. The aura also helps you, and your AP deal more damage.

Wards

Sight Ward
Always buy 2 when you have the money and space. Always. If you have extra money buy 1 (or 2 if you're really rich) to clear the river wards of the enemy team.

Summary

So that's it for now guys, that's my Sejuani build. Any suggestions are very welcome since I'm sure with everyone, and Riot realizing her potential, there are probably better ways to build her so expect updates.
