Introduction
Alright before I go on about this build a few facts about me.
1) I SUCK. I do not claim to be great at LoL
2) I am putting this up to get feedback not to say look I made best Sejuani advice on how to do better would be appreciated
3) AGAIN I SUCK! I am in Bronze V. I am simply wanting some guidance.
With that said I hope some of you at least take a look at this guide and maybe give some curteous well thought out advice. The reason I am putting this up here is because I bought the wrong item in one game and then owned the next five by purchasing that item. If you can't guess which one it is then just play the "one of these things is not like the others" game. I am talking about the
Spirit of the Elder Lizard. I play with this build A LOT and one of two things happens either:
A) My team rolls over the other team like they are nothing.
B) My team gets OWNED.
The games I play with this build are NEVER close games. The big difference I have found in these games is that when my team is owning when I go look at the DMG to Champions figure at the end of the game I did less than the carries. When my team gets owned I usually find myself having done MORE damage to Champions than the carries on my team. Now before it is asked, NO I am not Kill Stealing from the Carries in the bad games. Bad games are why my avg K/D/A ratio with this build is 4/10/8. Good games I get around 6-8 kills and 3-4 deaths, assists varies greatly but tend to be 8-12 on good games. So I would like to know if this build is actually viable or if I have been hurting myself playing this way.

Runes

I have considered using several different types of runes. I have thought of substituting these for those but here is the thing. I don't have access to a lot of runes. I am SLOWLY building my rune cache up. That said here are some ideas I have had in what Runes to use besides the ones noted in the build provided above for your convenience.
[*] Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration
Seals

Glyphs

Quintessences

I got the basis for the Masteries off another guide in fact most of this build is Frankenstein'ed from several builds. But I chose this setup for the fact that it helps with getting behind. I don't like it when I get a bad start and then get steamrolled because of it. So I built to prevent that.
Standard on most mana hungry champions
Meditation
for obvious reasons. Less obvious is my choice for
Improved Recall
instead of another in
Meditation
. Mainly so I can get back and forth quicker.
Another odd choice some might think is
Mastermind
over
Expanded Mind
. This one came about because I saw more benefit from getting
Smite sooner early on than I did more mana at higher levels.
Even with a bad start
Greed
and
Awareness
will help keep me up with the others.
Meanwhile
Runic Affinity
and
Vampirism
help with survival ability and maintaining an edge.
Wanderer
and
Nimble
help keep my speed up even without boots.
While
Butcher
,
Tough Skin
, and
Bladed Armor
helps with clear times.
And the one point in
Summoner's Resolve
help generate even more gold. Albeit a small amount.

Improved Recall
put a point in
Summoner's Wrath
for the early game AP and AD boosts.

Now as I said in the intro the odd choice here is the
Spirit of the Elder Lizard. But the thing is when I got this particular item my Damage output jumped a fair bit. It did make me squishier in early levels but once I got
Warmog's Armor I was back to being pretty damn tanky.
So I started playing more with it and found myself either Owning or being Owned no in between. I also started noticing in games I was owned I was doing more damage than the carries in my team whether they were APC or ADC did not matter. I also played around with alternate choices but ended with a balanced build as I have shown. I gave a list of alternate items for people to see what I have played with.
Now I know MANY or even ALL of the people looking at this will be going "SUCH NOOB HAS NO RYLAI'S!" (Or
Frozen Mallet or
Iceborn Gauntlet Or whatever Slow effect item you choose) The thing is...Sejuani has one of the best and strongest Slow effects I have seen.
Permafrost is F'ing Brutal. I have slowed
Hecarim,
Volibear, and others with movement boosts and stuck to them pretty damn well. In fact the only times I have not been able to stick to someone is when I miss with an attack and am not able to slow them. If you need MORE slow effects well DAMN. I can usually stay with an enemy for the most part. Also those items tend to help with damage output.
While the
Liandry's Torment and
Spirit of the Elder Lizard help with Damage I am not trying to kill everything I come in contact with ( Though in later levels that tends to happen) I am actually trying to SLOW and then damage the enemy enough for the ADC or APC to get the kill.
So I ask the more experienced players to try out my build and give their input on my odd item choice. Try and be courteous about it though.
