Introduction
This is my first guide here on MobaFire, and will be based on one of my favourite champions, Akali!
During this guide I will be showing you a little more advanced guide for people who play Akali already, so if you're looking for a newbeginner guide, you've come to the wrong place.
just a friendly reminder: These are my opinions and if you don't like them and/or want to add something or edit something, just say so. Just please, please don't give any bad feedback before you have actually read the whole guide and tried this build out.
Enjoy!
These are the runes that I use for Akali, I find that they work and if you wish to replace them with something else, fell free to do that, this is just what i roll with :D

There are many different choices to building Akali, i Build her as a Nuker, taking down the enemies Carries as fast as possible. The following is what I build.
I always start out with Doran's Blade, I find this the best way to start out the game to how my Masteries and Runes are set up.
Straight after I've gathered up around 1.2k gold+, i Recall and purchase Hextech Revolver, and if possible the Boots of Speed.
Then i build my Sorcerer's Shoes, Mercury's Treads and Boots of Swiftness are also viable depending on situation
Straight after that i buy the Giant's Belt for some survivability.
Before completing the Rylai's Crystal Scepter i buy a Sheen.
There after I complete my Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
Then complete the Hextech Gunblade.
From the Sheen I make a Lich Bane
Now, I purchase the Deathcap for some crazy AP
as you can see we now only have 5 final items, the last item is all depending on the situation and your decision, I know that some of you stress to make a Guinsoo's Rageblade, however I dont find myself auto-attacking and getting those stacks up that much, getting for example a Rylai's or Lich Bane is far more important, I think.
I usually get a Defensive item such as:
Thornmail, against AD heavy teams
Banshees Veil, against a more balanced team
Force of Nature, against a more AP heavy team
another good iteam against AP heavy teams might be the Abyssal Scepter, this is both Offensive, Defensive and helps your AP teammates.

making your opponent afraid of you is a key to playing Akali and nearly every champion you play, what you should master is how to use that to your advantage, a way of doing that with Akali is to put a Twilight Shroud
Code:
Twilight Shroud size 64
behind the enemy Caster Creeps, and making the opponent running away and not gain any experience. This can hwoever not be successfull in all cases.
You should always stay behind your tank, your objective is to kill the enemy teams Carries, Target them first.
Whatever lane you are playing in you should always gank not just to gain gold, but also help out your teammates an their lanes.
