Introduction
My YouTube channel can be found here: My Channel
Shyvana is a melee, tanky dps jungler or top laner who can also build as a full damage carry.
I always build her with a focus on early game durability, then go for more damage. I round of the build with even more tankyness. This build works against most enemy teams and enemy junglers.
Shyvana's speed in the jungle is unmatched. She can escape sticky situations with the active on her ult and with the speed from her W, she can move around really quickly. Her speed in the jungle can be somewhat attributed to the fact that she runs on no mana, so spamming skills is encouraged.

Build Example
Pros:
+ Extremely fast clear speed
+ Great Duelist
+ Unrivaled objective/buff control
+ Ult is up the more you auto attack (complements build)
+ Very fast travelling around
+ Does high damage while still being tanky
+ Snowballs hard
+ Manaless
+ A freaking DRAGON
Cons:
- No CC (aside from ult)
- Somewhat weak ganks
- Relies on items
- Melee range (Combined with no CC makes kiting her easier)
W - (Burnout)
(Active): During the next 3 seconds, Shyvana will deal magic damage each second to nearby enemies and her movement speed will be greatly increased. Shyvana's movement speed bonus itself will be reduced multiplicatively by 15% for every second that passes. Shyvana's autoattacks extend the duration of Burnout by 1 second to a maximum of 4 extra seconds.
Dragon form: Shyvana now scorches the earth where she walks, leaving a trail of fire for 5 seconds that will continually deal magic damage to enemies that pass over it.
I always max this first since it gives the quickest clear time and the lower CD makes clearing much faster. It's the ability that gives Shyvana the objective/buff control that she has.
W - (Twin Bite)
(Active): Shyvana's next autoattack will strike twice in one swift movement. The second attack will deal physical damage equal to a percentage of her total attack damage. Shyvana's auto attacks against non-structures reduce the cooldown of Twin Bite by 0.5 seconds. Both attacks will trigger on-hit effects and generate fury.
Dragon Form: Twin Bite will damage all units in front of Shyvana when she uses her next autottack instead of just her target. Each unit hit will be dealt on-hit effects and grant fury twice.
Since the CD on this ability is reduced with each auto attack and the build gives large attack speed, Shyvana will be able to use this ability several times per fight. This gives TONS OF DAMAGE.
W - (Flame Breath)
(Active): Shyvana unleashes a fireball forward in a line that affects all enemies it hits, dealing magic damage to it and marking them for 5 seconds. Shyvana's basic attacks against marked enemies deal bonus magic damage equal to 2% of their maximum health (max. 100 vs. monsters).
Dragon form: Flame Breath engulfs all units in a cone in front of Shyvana.
Speeds up Shyvana's clear and allows some range poke. Not an awesome skill but still useful. 10/10 would use.
I think that the standard jungling runes are the best:
Marks - Flat Attack Damage
Quints - Flat Attack Damage
Glyphs - Flat Magic Resist
Seal - Flat Armor
I think that the normal 9/21/0 jungling masteries work best with Shyvana:

A half-breed born from the union between dragon and human, Shyvana searched all her life for belonging. Persecution forged her into a brutal warrior, and those who dare stand against Shyvana face the fiery beast lurking just beneath her skin.
Dragonkind considered Shyvana's impure blood an abomination, and she spent her youth pursued relentlessly by one cruel drake. Constantly on the run, she and her father, an outcast dragon, never knew a lasting home. A brutal reflection of countless battles, Shyvana grew hateful and savage. After years of strife, her father finally fell to the other dragon, but not before gravely wounding his foe. Furious with grief, Shyvana pursued her father’s murderer as he fled north to recover. There she encountered a group of humans on the trail of the same drake. Though the men looked upon her in fear, their leader approached Shyvana peacefully. He introduced himself as Jarvan IV, the Prince of Demacia, and offered to aid Shyvana in her quest for vengeance. Together they hunted down and confronted the vicious dragon that had slain her father. Shyvana did not expect the men to survive, but in the clash of fire and steel, Jarvan and his men fought with strength she had never believed humans to possess. The ironclad warriors drove their foe into submission, and Shyvana struck the final blow, tearing the beast's heart from its body. Inspired by her ferocity, Jarvan offered her a place in the ranks of his elite guard. Shyvana could still see fear in the eyes of his men, but she longed for a true home. Trusting Jarvan's word, she accepted his offer and now serves as a Demacian warrior. Though her human allies admire her power, they keep their distance. Shyvana strives to repay the prince’s kindness with the power of the dragon within, but she cannot help but wonder if the humans are right to fear her.
"I have proven my might to dragonkind—what challenge shall humans pose?"
