Hi everyone !! I'm MrDiNoRawR here with my guide on Jinx, The loose cannon. I've play league for about one and a half year in Sea sv. And I'm going to guide you all to play her as an ADC (For now huehuehue) I hope you all enjoy reading this guide, please give me a comments what I've to improve on, some suggestion, some mistake and This is my first guide !

Jinx is a ranged ad carry. Wait just only carry? Answer is No in my opinion she's everything she can play as every role for now. She is the another version of Caitlyn by remove the escape ability and give her more damage and CC. Her damage capability is quite high and can make all people cry by Zap! to her opponent face. And with the Flame Chompers! she can disengage the ganks and locked-target down. Also the Global range ult Super Mega Death Rocket! that can shut down people from far away. Thanks for the amazing scale of Jinx ability she can do a massive damage to the enemy... NOT ONLY one but nearly enemy TOO!!. And If you asked me why I like this champion I've to say " TRY THIS CHAMP PLS :) "

Why play jinx ? and when ?

This is also important to read. I'll provide the reasoning for why you would want to play Jinx and when to play her as wel.

  • Has a good scaling on ad and decent scale for ap
  • Insane range with Fishbones, the Rocket Launcher (Can out ranged caitlyn at rank 3)
  • Insane attack speed steriod with Pow-Pow, the Minigun
  • Zap! This is the beast skill that make a great harrass/damaging tool in lane. Also give true sight on hit and low cd.
  • Get Excited! With this ability you can chase your enemy all day If you're team fight.
  • Super Mega Death Rocket! Global ult is always good.
  • Very fun to play.
  • She's cute as hell in some way lol.

There're a lot reason on why you would want to play Jinx and also her kit. Fishbones, the Rocket Launcher , Pow-Pow, the Minigun and Zap!. With these combined you'll never getting bored, You can play her whenever you want because of her versatile. This mean she can play as many role.. but It also depend on your skill... This mean she can be a good champion If you can bring out all her potential!!!

  • Having lots tank in team / you need a walls to make a play and alway communicate with tanks to protect her while in team-fight
  • When your team need carry that can out-ranged caitlyn or carry that have 2 cc in there team
  • If they want you to slap the Hat lady Caitlyn or smack the fat hands Vi

I can teach you about Jinx, but most of stuff you have to apply it by yourself. How to be a good Jinx?..this is the key to ignores these cons.
Positioning - I've a very useful link that explain about adc
  • First -> As and adc you've to do as much damage as possible... If a tank is near you will you just stand still and do nothing while focusing their adc and try to find a way to walk pass their front line? No that's damn stupid.. You're adc you have to shoot the **** out of that tank.. just try to attack enemy as much as you can
  • Positioning is one of the key when you're playing on adc. How to positioning with jinx? I've a picture in this spoilers

Here is my masteries for my little Jinx. As there are many ways you can run masteries for her, it's usually standard to run the 21/9/0.. I'll explain them all now !

OFFENSE TREE

Tier 1 - I take Sorcery because it give cooldown reduction and make me spam more Zap! , since 4% aspd is not worth enough to put a point to it (My opinion)... and for the Butcher is for last hitting.

Tier 2 - I take Deadliness for scaling AD, which will continually make me stronger in lane as the skills are continued to be leveled up. Destruction Oh wow I love this destruction it'll make you destroy the torret much much faster combined with Pow-Pow, the Minigun..

Tier 3 - Weapon Epertise I love this with Zap!

Tier 4 - Brute Force AD = good Lethality = Cri dmamage + Fishbones, the Rocket Launcher = fun!!

Tier 5 - Frenzy with Pow-Pow, the Minigun = Fastest aspd Sunder MORE PENETRATION

Tier 6 - Executioner Just put 1 point and You will love it

DEFENSE TREE


Tier 1 - Summoner's Resolve This make your Barrier more stronger and instead of put one more point in Hardiness 3.5 armor is enough.. Durability for hp/lv which is important because you're squishy..

Tier 2 - Hardiness Armor Resistance more Armor

Tier 3 - Veteran's Scars 30 flat HP is good.

If you asked why?... And why not? this is really good summoner's spell at all time.... you can do a lot with it. Escape? ...check chasing? ...check everything will be fine if you use this correctly.BUT THE THING YOU SHOULDN'T DO IS FLASH IN TO THE TEAM FIGHT You'll be completed demolished in 2 second..

Recommanded Because you're squishy!
This spell has gotten extremely popular lately, I myself love this skill too!!, It can protect you from Ignite and some case with Grievous Wounds from Tristana , Miss Fortune and Varus... It help you much more than Heal

Optitional : viable but not recomandded in bot lane. And also my builds

Same as ignite viable but not so good at bot ... maybe you can use this to go top lane.

Verry good If you're facing a lot of CC I usually bring it if they've Fiddlesticks or alot aoe stun like Zyra Sejuani and much much more. Depend on situation YOU NEED TO COMPARED YOUR CC IN YOUR TEAM AND HOW MUCH POWERFUL CC THEY HAVE!..

Very good to secured kill. but not reccomanded because your support shoulda take it and you need defence mechanism.

Viable but not so good after nerf... better take barrier. It prevent you from Ignite!!

CV? CV is very good lol. if you want to kill them with your ult or practice using it also for trolling just bring it you'll never missed your skill shot.. IF YOU THINK THIS SKILL IS UESLESS SEE THIS!!

    • For armor to trade your enemies this is the best seal for jinx.

      • Make you tankier to laning when facing Ap support poker like Sona , Lulu. And it good bacause in late game you'll facing more ap that's why we don't need alot Magic armor at lower lv.

        • Take life steals because It's give you more sustain and you can stay in lane pretty much longer.

        At Mark.. just leave it there. Seal... Just use this Greater Seal of Armor and also this Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist it increase your chance of surviving in a lot situation. And in quintessence Quintessence of Life Steal These quints are absolutely amazing and have been underestimated for a long while. With these combined with Doran's Blade your sustain is very high and in many situations you can actually skip buying lifesteal until much later in the game. Being able to sustain from the start of the game at zero gold cost is awesome and Lifesteal also scales into lategame better than any other rune. The alternative is using attack damage, which will give you a little more damage on your early harass.

Get excited

Whenever a champion or tower that Jinx has dealt damage to within the last 3 seconds is killed or destroyed, she gains 175% Movement Speed that decays over 4 seconds.
  • Give insane movement speed.
  • This is the key to make you running around in the teamfight when ***tist or killing someone.
  • Not the best passive in the game but its balanced your overall.
  • The passive is decays over 4 second Remember 4 SECOND!

Switcheroo!
[*]TOGGLE OFF—POW-POW, THE MINIGUN: Jinx's basic attacks grant 16.6 / 23.3 / 30 / 36.6 / 43.3% bonus attack speed for 2.5 seconds, stacking up to 3 times to a maximum of 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 / 130%. The stacks decay one at a time when she stops attacking. If Jinx switches to her Rocket Launcher, she will lose all stacks after her first attack.


[*]TOGGLE ON—FISHBONES, THE ROCKET LAUNCHER: Jinx gains 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 bonus attack range and deals bonus damage equal to 10% AD on her attacks, at the cost of mana per attack. Additionally, her attacks will splash to nearby enemies - dealing full damage to all enemies hit.

  • This is skill is fantastic and main ability for Jinx. This make jinx has high attack speed and can finish off minion incredibly fast and also give attack steiod make esier to farm early game
  • With Pow-Pow, the Minigun you'll be the champion that has highest aspd in the game!!
  • I'm only put 2 point in early game because you can out-ranged any champion in the game now except Caitlyn and I need more damage burst in early game so.... in my opinion rank 2 is just enough. And your damage isn't high early game the aspd bonus wouldn't give you alot lane control. I'm max this ability second. *** Special case vs Caitlyn I usually maxed this skill first for lane control.

Zap!

Jinx fires a shock blast that deals 30 / 75 / 120 / 165 / 210 (+ 140% AD) physical damage and slows the first enemy hit for 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 / 70%, also granting true sight for 2 seconds.
  • Ow lord.. I love this skill.
  • Super high range poke with Zap!. This skill can poke aggressively even your enemy have higher range than you! Ex. Caitlyn Kog'Maw Tristana and also this skill have very high AD scale. If you use it correctly you can zone opponent very well.
  • Best zoning tool and this skill can shot down people from far away.
  • True sight on hit!! We can Zap! in to bush to check what's in there.
  • Cost a lot mana to use in high rank. This mean you can't spam Zap! without Bluebuff , Manamune , Tear of goddess and some other mana-engine..
    • Ofc.. skill-shot can be missed. And before you Zap! it show range indicator to opponent so so.. harder to land it.
      • You have to managed your mana to use it more often.

      Flame Chompers!
      • Jinx tosses out 3 chompers that, once armed, explode on contact with enemy champions dealing 120 / 175 / 230 / 285 / 340 (+ 100% AP) magic damage over 1.5 seconds to nearby enemies. The champion that sets off the chomper is also rooted the same duration. Chompers explode automatically after 5 seconds.
        • Also a good tool to zone the lane.
        • 120 damage at rank 1 is goood enough to catch and burn people down.
        • No cast time. You can run while casting this skill.
        • Grant high vision. Can use to scout the bush and check the dragon etc.
        • You need to wait for about 0.4 second to make it catch your enemies.
        • This skill is only one disengage skill if it on cooldown and you're facing alot assasin or gap-closer it mean you're dead
        • High cooldown. Use it wisely.

        Super Mega Death Rocket!
        • Jinx fires a rocket that gains damage over the first second it travels. It explodes on the first enemy champion hit, dealing a minumum of 150 / 200 / 250 (+ 50% AD) and a maximum of 300 / 400 / 500 (+ 100% AD) Physical Damage plus 25 / 30 / 35% of the target's missing health (max 300 damage to minions and monsters). Nearby enemies take 80% damage.
        • Phew an AoE global range ult nothing to say its good.
        • Not very high cooldown. SPam it Please
        • Hard to hit. OFc SKILLSHOT!
        • Even in your lane its stil hard to burn'em down with your ult. Especialy Ezreal Corki Vayne Tristana Pheww and much more.

  • Wait WTF?? Why I'm not maxing Switcheroo! first ? ow gosh.. Why da hell you need it? I prefer this Zap! With insane damage better than Switcheroo! Why? becuase in early game if don't have much damage seriously. You're not gonna do the insane damage like Zap! from autoattacking This why I want to max zap first. When you poke them alot I'm sure that they'll fear you when you use Zap!. Trust me with this Zap! you'll turn to killing machine that can 100 to 0 people in 3-5 second.. We want to maxed Super Mega Death Rocket! as soon as possible because global range and more damage dealt. now on Flame Chompers! I maxed it last because it deals and scale on ap. Also because the stun duration didn't increase when you rank it up.

Doran's blade Basic and recommended startThis is the best choice for start (In my opinion)also give damage and 5 hp per hit, good for trades damage with enemies adc. I start with Doran's Blade about 80% of my games now.

Boots of speed + 4x Health PotionGood start if you Think you can completely control a land or you're facing a lot skil-shot. But after the S3 nerf its not the best start anymore think more when you want to start with this.

Berserker's Greaves Give nice attack speed and also movement speed.I usually get this after my B.F. sword and Vampiric Scepter or if I'm getting bad in lane I'm going to purchase this to increase my DPs

B.F. Sword Main damage and its the way to Bloodthirster or Infinity EdgeThis is your early goal to buy.. with this items you'll be able to trades hard. With Zap! and your dps from Pow-Pow, the Minigun will increase a lot.

Main sustain items and core!! of the build Buy this early to make Jinx has more sustain to trades, and with Pow-Pow, the Minigun will make yous sustain really good.

In early game you need to farm as much as you can and also zoning the lane keep enemies away from farming. You have to be very aggressive if you want to make good game. how to zone with jinx? I'll show you in next next section keep. Ow and ..Pls don't just die now hahaha stay alive... :P

Movement speed MORE ATTACK SPEED I'm replacing this items when I'm fighting with alot cc or I'm full and I want to replaced my Berserker's Greaves over upgrade to tier3 boot, so this is also a good choice because its give tenacity which mean you're not going to get stun too long and Get Excited!with this combined together.... YOu'll be an unstopable killing machine.

This items is a good item too it give you more durability and decent amount of damage. I buy this item when I want to freeze their legs or I want more hp.

Nice items Give high damage and another version of Cleanse but for only when you active it'll remove all of your debuff but remember that this items not gonna give you a movement speed because you're ranged and it has a very high cost to buy this item. I don't usually buy this but I take cleanse instead of buying it.

At the start I usually buy Doran's Blade for damage to last hitting and to gain life when attack minion or champions. After first back if I'm doing well my first item to buy is B. F. Sword and then Berserker's Greaves, Vampiric Scepter if it not going well i'll take more Doran's Blade[/colour] and buy 5x Heath potion for sustain. In pre-mid game you have choice to select what to buy first between Bloodthirster or Infinity Edge. If I'm super fed and dominate the lane I would go for Infinty edge otherwise I build Bloodthirster first. In late game just follow the items order Phantom Dancer, Last Whisper and you'll be fine this game. For the last option you need to decide what to buy now if you want to go for more health and the decent AD you should buy Frozen Mallet, vs Heavy AD? Renduin's omen Before I'm trying to buy omen I've underestimate this item alot. I think it's not for ADC for sure but when I tried... Their enemies adc can't kill me also the they can't chasing me too. It's good items that you can try it out. Vs mix of AD and AP? Guardian Angel. It'll give you the durability in teamfights also giving a love from enemies bruiser.. You can't escape the love for sure! And next! Zephyr this items is for when you're facing with a lot CC that'll surely come to you. I'm not usually buy this item because its not help much and I've Get Excited! to flee away. So I don't usual buying for just CC.

Gameplay

In this section I'll cover laning phase, mid game and team fight. I'll help you get better at playing Jinx.

In laning phase as an adc you'll need to get the Cs as much as you can to be effective in teamfight. It isn't very hard to grab the Cs because you have high aspd from Pow-Pow, the Minigun. You have to becareful to trading damage agianst enemies (Never trade agianst Draven please). You've to play Jinx very agressively by landing Zap! to zoning the lane. This is the hard path you that you need to practice your skill-shot skill. And the thing you shouldn't do is pushing the lane without warding maps. We don't want to die from ganked, REMEMBER THAT you don't have escape mechanism likes Tristana, Caitlyn and many others. Makes sure you harass enemies by switching Pow-Pow, the Minigun to Fishbones, the Rocket Launcher for better range. Keep in mind that Pow-Pow, the minigun][/color is for last hitting and use it when they're really close for more DPS. The last thing is you've to make sure that you have wards in the bush or you'll get ganked very easy.

once you get Super Mega Death Rocket!, you need to zoning your opponent now. You have to force your enemies to hug their turret and lose EXP and Cs just keep poking with Zap! and Fishbones, the Rocket Launcher. When they're recall because they've low hp this is the time where your ult shines, this is super hard to hit if they're see you're casting they'll just move away and dodge your ult. This is very tricky path to use ult in the bush and burn'em down. Always use at higher range for more damage, the highest damage of Super Mega Death Rocket is when this skill is out-ranged Zap! try to get the range indicator and calculate the hit point and shoot them down. Also keep your eyes on minimap and check the big map for ult and for notice when their jungler will come. Be very active at this early and mid game.

In teamfights this is where Jinx is shines especially with the group of enemies, you have to communicate with your teammates that they've to protect you or you're going to die for sure, even you have defensive items that didn't have much when all player got full items. The key of playing Jinx in team fight is try to active the passive Get Excited! why? If you can get this passive this mean you can run away from gap-closer, you can run to chasing the enemies, you can assist your team and many mores. Once your passive is actived this is the tricky part why? When it actived one the another one will come for sure don't worried about dealing damage Jinx HAS a tons of damage to deals, keep in mind that your mobility in teamfight is just good but you need a walls of TANK if you don't have it, you'll completely destroyed.

The key thing when you're playing Jinx there's some of them here..

  • Positioning: This is maybe the most important thing to play as an ADC,You need to have a very good positioning in order to be successful. You should be out of enemy range but you should be in range to hit them. If you have strong CCers on your team, they will be your best friend. Stick behind them, and watch out for flanks. You don't want them going around just to get to you.
  • Accuracy: You'll be very effective if you hit the people with your skill-shot, I know it hard to land but when it landed in teamfights its not very hard to hit, and make sure you're aiming before you cast your skills.
  • As a carry: Although you have high range, you are still a carry, and people will attempt to destroy you. Your team should help protect you, and if they don't, then you probably have a bad team. You are a carry, and the support should be helping you out as well. They do their roles, you do yours.
