I hope I can get it back :/

Hey guys, I'm Draog and this is my guide for
Nautilus for Solo Top laning.
I am not an expert or pro on League of Legends, just started playing the game since July 2011.
However I got familiar with items, runes, mastery trees, so I got to the point where I can make my own custom builds for my champs adapting to my play style.
So thought to share my experience and make a guide for Nautilus as a Solo Top laner.
I did try him jungle, but it didn't appeal to me. There are better junglers.
Trying him Solo top, I found him awesome. :)
*Note: That this guide is Yet not finished.
So here is my guide for Nautilus - The Titan of the Depths.

So here is my guide for Nautilus - The Titan of the Depths.

Pros
+ Great sustain
+ Great chaser
+ Good at ganking
+ Can endure fights under turrets
+ Good CC
+ Good initiator
+ Easy escape with

+ He is Huge!

Cons
-

- Not good early game pusher
- Might be outfarmed early game
- Too much aggressiveness might get you killed
- Quite slow, early game.
For Nautilus I use 0/21/9 setup tree.
Defence: 21
-
Resistance: 2/3
-
Hardiness: 3/3
-
Durability: 4/4
-
Veteran's Scars: 1/1
-
Indomitable: 2/2
-
Evasion: 2/3
-
Enlightenment: 3/3
-
Honor Guard: 3/3
-
Juggernaut: 1/1
Utility: 9
With this tree setup Nautilus is as Tanky as possible.
Gives Nautilus great sustainability on lane with health regeneration, increased mana and swiftness.
Mid/late game he will be your team's living fortress.

Main Item Build
Ok about the Item build sequence.
I start with

On my first way back, I try to have money for a philosopher's stone and

If you have extra gold after you purchased your items, always buy a sight ward (one should be enough) and couple of

Next I go for

After I have my philosopher's stone,

Now depending on my opponent I would go for

Example: If my opponent is

Now that I have my gold resource, health/man regen, bit more health, and my defences(

Our next Item is

We have our health increased so far, our MR, now time to complete our next set with the items we already have. Some slots have been released now with the completion of

Our 5th item is more MR and Health regeneration with

First buy

Final item

This is how I often do my item build. Adapting to the situation.
-
:
Mercury's Treads for tenacity and MR.
-
: For CDR Health/Health regen + the awesome active, which can be very useful when chasing down enemies and use your
Dredge Line to gram em +
Staggering Blow +
Riptide, oh yea. That is if you catch up to them eventually. ^^
Also activate when are in a runaway of course :P
Help your teamates, escape, catch up with enemies. Awesome item.
-
: What a great overall item for Nautilus. Health, Mana, MR, one negative spell block, more of our
Titan's Wrath use. Shield protecting shield. :D
-
: One of my often items for my tanks.
Randuin's Omen make s a great combo with
Shurelya's Battlesong. More CDR, armor, health regen, passive and active are awesomly awesome. ^^ Use wisely.
-
: Woohoo, more MR and health regen = more sustain ^^.
Plus increased movement speed. Hooray!
-
: Armor, Health, AoE passive, bla bla bla.

Description:
Nautilus’ first basic attack against a target deals bonus physical damage and immobilizes the opponent briefly. Staggering Blow cannot trigger on the same target more than once every 12 seconds.
Using the passive:

Description:
Nautilus throws his anchor forward. If he hits an enemy, he'll drag himself to his target and his target to him. If he hits terrain, he'll drag himself to the terrain and the cooldown is reduced.
Using the ability:
I love this ability. You can play with

You can

When laning you can harass with

Great for catching up enemies and as an escaping tool.
Yes again, you are right just like Spiderman! He use web to escape and for catching enemies too! :D
Dont spam it though or you wont be left with mana to fight.
I like to call this "Come to Papa" ability :P
Description:
Nautilus places a shield on himself that absorbs additional damage based on his maximum health. While the shield is active, Nautilus' attacks deal damage over time to units around him.
Using the ability:
Our most damaged ability as tanks.

Great for clearing minions under our turret and hitting multiple enemies in teamfights.
With enough health

It does magic dot to nearby enemies. You will see that they got hit if they have an anchor above their heads. Not that important to notice though :P
Description:
Nautilus slams the ground, causing the earth to ripple out in waves. Each wave deals damage and slows the targets hit. This slow decays over time. Multiple waves that hit the same target deal reduced damage.
Using the ability:

Also use it if you are running away too. As soon as you think the enemy is in close enough range for your riptide to slow him down, use it. Mind the delay it has too.

Description
Nautilus launches a depth charge towards a target that picks up speed as it travels. This charge knocks up all enemies it encounters while traveling and explodes on impact, stunning the target and launching them into the air.
Using the ability:
Our precious ultimate ability,

Use it when low health enemies, try to escape from you or allies. Another good thing about

Also when laning, if you think that you can get the kill, when your enemy has enough fair of health and you initiate, observe his health. If you think Ultimate + ignite + few more hits will get you the kill do so.
This works great if you get the enemy dragged under our turret and starts getting hits.

Also if you get aid from you jungler, and the enemy sees it and tries to escape. If you think you can get the kill, use your ultimate first. BUT make sure about it, and dont miss with

Use this ability wisely, guarantee some kills.

makes for a great combo for

Using this combo to harass you opponent at your lane will make him take enough damage.
Be aware though after the combo fall back. Without your

Recommended using the combo when you have your philosopher's stone, for the the mana regeneration.

The thing that you have to watch out from

This is able to break your

You can harass him with the combo (

If you get ganged, try and run, because

I got turret dived Renekton/Udyr 3 times. 2 Times dead. 1 managed to run to base.

What you should aware of though, you shouldn't be too aggressive cause of his passive

I added a Match History images, to show games with this build.
I have a picture with no Defeats with Nautilus, but I chose not to pick that because I did not want to deliver the message that you will have Victories all the way. No.
It all depends how the teams works out together.
Want to be realistic with my guide. It will not give you immortality.
