Introduction

This is the way I usually build Yasuo, it's a glass-cannon build that can out-duel just about anybody.

Skill Sequence

Pretty obvious choice is to max Steel Tempest first, take Sweeping Blade at level 2 and I'll usually take Wind Wall at level 4 because the damage on Steel Tempest is just more important than the wall usually. Now, I'll usually max Sweeping Blade second but I've been thinking about it and you don't get much for leveling it. If you want to try maxing Wind Wall second go for it and tell me how it goes. Seriously though, there are times when I go mid lane I will put a point into Sweeping Blade at level one to engage once it's stacks are maxed and just decimate them before they have any of their abilities.

Runes

The reason I use these runes is simple, Attack Speed and Critical Chance are just more effective on Yasuo, the 5 Greater Mark of Critical Chance are the same as having 5 Greater Quintessence of Critical Chance on another champion. The Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed allows you to spam your Steel Tempest And of course Greater Mark of Attack Damage to actually have some damage.

Masteries

21-9-0 masteries Frenzy is completely broken with Yasuo x)

9-21-0 If you want to be a little more durable in lane and less of a bully

Items

I've found myself grabbing one of these items at least once for some reason.

Guardian Angel - One of the best defensive items in the game for glass cannon builds. My usual choice.

Randuin's Omen - If they don't have any AP, a great defensive item.

Maw of Malmortius - Gives AD, MR and another barrier for those clutch moments and escapes.

Frozen Mallet - Helps you lock people down and give no opportunity for them to escape.

Trinity Force - Gives MS and a ruthless passive with insane damage output

Ravenous Hydra - It's passive procs off of your auto attacks and Steel Tempest which it's cooldown should be about a second at this point in the build

Spirit Visage - If you need MR, CDR and some much needed health, this is just an all around great item. Now only gives 10% CDR after the last update which makes Banshee's Veil look like a pretty good choice now.

Banshee's Veil - The spell shield on this is just too helpful to pass up especially after the recent nerf to Spirit Visage. Overall, I prefer Banshee's Veil

Farming

The key to farming with Yasuo is to farm using your Steel Tempest and when you proc your airborne, I like to Sweeping Blade through the minions and get on top of my laning opponent so if I land the airborne I can punish them with a few auto attacks and maybe another Steel Tempest before using Sweeping Blade to get back behind my minions. If you miss a last-hit with Steel Tempest you can use Sweeping Blade immediately the animation is much shorter than your auto attacks and will almost guarantee the last-hit.

Unique Skills

I have to say, Yasuo is definitely one of a kind champion, with just about the highest mobility in the game in certain situations and the ability to out 1v1 just about anybody, he definitely makes for some fun games. With Sweeping Blade Yasuo can maneuver himself just about anywhere he wants to in a teamfight, whether that be to jump onto the squishies or chase down someone trying to escape with low health. With the endless possibilities of Sweeping Blade and the skill needed just to get your ultimate Last Breath off, Yasuo definitely has one of the highest skill caps I've ever seen, so I can't wait to see what plays people are going to make with him next!
