In the beginning of the game you generally will take Doran's blade
for the extra damage and life steal, but if you are going up against a lane bully such as Renekton
or Darius
then you should take Doran's Shield
for the extra regeneration.Building your first items
Most of the time you will be trying to get either Blade of the Ruined King
or Essence Reaver
early, I recommend on your first back to try and get a Vamp Scepter

, and a Dagger

Combos
In lane you will constantly be trying to run in, use and ability, get your passive off to get the Klepto stacks, and run out.
(I will be using a Long Sword
