Threats & Synergies
A good time flay can cancel her stun and neglect the damage, if she ults just place down your ult within hers and flay her back.
Stay clear of his axe spin and moderate your health bar. Putting some extra points in Lantern may be good to neglect some of the bleed.
A good fiora will just reposte your hook, play safe and wait for her to waste it then go all in. Or wait for your jungler to come and bait it out.
His Oranges destroy your Combo. He can eat your hook away so try your best to bait it out. Stay away from the bushes because he may have some traps set.
Starting a early Frozen Mallet may help with kiting. Wait for him to throw his axe and then position for a Q -> R -> E (hopefully under tower).
Bait his blind out, wait for him to step out of position and then hook him back to tower.
My reasoning behind this is CDR Quints because CDR is super important for dishing out the right amount of damage. Armor Seals because you need that armor boost + Soul count. AD and AP because Thresh is the perfect Hybrid, Flay Passive scales off AD, AP and Souls and the Flay Passive is your main source of damage.
Engaging: You want to constantly look for that hook on the squishy carry, once landed place down your Box and Flay them back into it, procing Thunderlords. Other good Engage is the Flash Flay -> Box locking down a load of enemies and allowed your team to collapse.
Peeling: You're literally a Support now, except your tankier and can dish out damage. Sit back with your carries and peel for them. Cancel dashes and jumps with your Flay, reposition the carries with your Lantern and lock enemies down with your Hook.
Your Gank Potential is UNREAL, if your jungler comes top and you land your abilities it's basically a free kill. Get your jungler to gank 2-3 times before 8mins and you'll laner will be playing super safe. Each time your jungler comes to gank throw your lantern back. Now your opponent now knows that whenever your jungler is near you'll throw your lantern back. If you start losing pressure/wave control throw your lantern back to "trick" the enemy, 9/10 they'll back or even FLASH away.
